    House salad with Thousand Island

A Self seated place. The waitress got to us quickly which is great. She Took our drink order. Gave us time to choose what we wanted. I ordered the Hog something Skillet. Side: Hashbrown Wifey got the Classic Eggs Benedict. House Salad Kiddos shared the Berry Berry Belgian Waffle, Chocolate Waffle with a side 2x sausage, 2x bacon, and eggs. Kiddo and wifey ate it with gusto. They loved it. I also enjoyed mine as well. Portion size are plentiful and perfect in my opinion. Would recommend. This was also my 1st experience at Jimmy Eggs as well.

Overall good food and good service at a reasonable price. Ambiance is busy. Menus were sticky and we cleaned them with wet wipes.

My first time visiting any location of JE, and I was not disappointed. The service was fast and with a smile. My pancakes came out quickly even though the place was packed, and they were also delicious! Bacon was cooked perfectly, and my coffee cup stayed full. I will definitely be visiting again.

If you're a local, you should know that Jimmy's Egg is pretty clutch. On weekends, it always draws a good crowd. I've been to several locations and they always seem to do a good job managing the rush. This past weekend I checked out this location. While driving along Hefner Road, you could easily overlook it as it kind of blends in next to Dental Depot. Just something to keep in mind if you invite a friend to meet there for breakfast. Anyway, they have a decent sized parking lot to manage the breakfast rush. The meal portions are great, the price is even better, the staff is attentive, and the kitchen is good at getting the meals out fast. If you love breakfast, you should try Jimmy's Egg. If you're looking for a breakfast place where you can imbibe in some adult beverages, plan to take your shenanigans elsewhere! This is just a good breakfast & lunch diner where you can fill up on some tasty food and get on with your day!

Jimmy's Egg no matter what location you choose, the food is pretty consistent. This location is pretty new and always busy. They service breakfast and lunch and close at 2pm. Their chicken fried steak is very good, I'm not fond of the sage tasting white gravy, so I order brown - I know it's not traditional, but it taste really good. One of my favorites is the Popeye's Revenge omelettes - bacon, mushrooms, spinach and jack cheese. Their hash brown are good. I do enjoy a good patty melt and theirs is very good, I know it's a frozen beef patty, but it's juicy and tasty, they use both American and Swiss cheese on grilled rye bread. The speedy service is friendly and the restaurant is very clean.

So the fake wife rolled into town with a real baby squirrell. That's not important right now but.... however. Anywho, before she left she said she could go for some breakfast. I've loved the Jimmys Egg since my younger lysergic years and this one is a mile away from the casa. I've never been to this one so I said, "WE ARE GOING HERE!!!" And we did.... Just like all the others (Jimmys Egg, not fake wives) it was right up to par. She said the hash browns were too soggy so I told her to quit pouring gravy on them. I got that "look" I could only barely not see cause we left our sunglases on. The only complaint I ever have about Ol' Jims Egg is the bacon. If I didn't love the bacon so much it would be full on 5 stars but it's just shy of crispy and too chewy for me. Kinda like pork belly jerkey. Service is always great and waitress woman did a wonderful job putting up with us getting bisquit gravy all over. When the gravy ends up on the bisquit yet under the gravy bowl on the same plate at the same time I expect to get smacked with a menu. Not this waitress. She just went about doing hard work like she knew she was getting a 25% tip. Fake wife also said the pancakes were too small but I explained to her that was so she wouldn't get too big. She said, "STOP THAT" but understood. That's a minor detail the Owl prolly wouldn't even get pissed about but he was home babysitting the baby squirrell, (remember the squirrell?). Besides us it was a very pleasant & calm atmosphere and not at all as busy as I would have thought for it being 11:00 in the AM. There's even a Dental Depot next door with a train you can play on but I'll get to that later. Typiclly as usual, I recomend any of Ol' Jimmys places for the Egg. Much better than Lennys or that other place you might be able to remember the name to at this very moment. Thank you and good day...

All secondary roads are still snow packed so at 11:30 there was only one other couple in the restrauant. The Press is in an old (1920's ?) repourposed building. The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety. My friends chose the Press Cobb and Breakfast Bomb. They were both very pleased and stated there was many options on the menu they would be interested in trying.

We grabbed 2 seats at the bar and were quickly greeted and given menus, place settings & ice water by one of the bartenders After about 5 minutes our order was taken - I didn't see the gluten free pancakes on the menu so I wasn't hopeful but when I asked the employee said that they do in fact have gluten free pancakes! I ordered pancakes 3 ways - creme brûlée, blueberry with lemon & a pig in a blanket along with 2 scrambled eggs & the candied bacon Hubs got the breakfast tacos, side of bacon and an Irish coffee Candied bacon came out with the Irish coffee quick - both were so good! I'm not a pepper fan so when I saw it on the candied bacon I was nervous, but it didn't overpower the flavor at all Next came the tacos & my smazing plate of gluten free PANCAKES!!!! The tacos looked good, but in all honesty I didn't ask if it was good because I was SO focused on my plate :) The pig in a blanket was my fave - the bourbon syrup was so good, there was a little spice to the sausage which was a nice balance The blueberry lemon was great - light, flavorful and just yummy The creme brulee which I was anticipating the most - was good, but wasn't my fave - maybe I was too full by the time I got to it but it wasn't as nummy as I'd hoped I'll be coming back next time I'm in town

These were in the Truck Stop plate and the Cannonball biscuit sandwich that we got. Absolutely loved them! We also ordered the Benny Mix and Match with the Pork Chile and the Which Came First, both of which were so flavorful and rich as well. That price isn't even including a tip. This place has always been pricier than the rest, but a couple years ago they used to give your to-go coffees in a mason jar so it was justified. Now the mason jars are gone, the cups are barely bigger than a claw clip, and somehow they're charging even more. This was my fourth time here and I wanted to give them another shot, but it'll have to be my last try. You can get much better coffee at a much more fair price at other places in the city. The only strength Elemental has is that it has a bit longer food menu than other cafes, but if you're paying more than $20 for a tiny coffee and a mediocre snack then you are wasting your time and money. Also, I don't expect you to yell a welcome or fall on your knees to greet me when I walk in, but the service here is miserable and always has been. The barista asked me how I was doing, to which I said good thank you, then just stared at me for a good few seconds. I guess that means go ahead and order here. A simple "what would you like today" would suffice. Most places you get used to waiting a second while the barista prepares the system, so if that's not the case, just say something. Then they hand you your to-go drink without a lid, because the $9.50 you spent doesn't cover that level of labor and you need to do it yourself. I love to support our local coffee shops here in OKC, but you'll never find me recommending Elemental. Which is a shame, because the mason jars in my cabinet at home are a good reminder of when they served unique and fairly priced coffee. I am so thoroughly disappointed that I made an account just to say this. At least the espresso is okay.
