A Self seated place. The waitress got to us quickly which is great. She Took our drink order. Gave us time to choose what we wanted. I ordered the Hog something Skillet. Side: Hashbrown Wifey got the Classic Eggs Benedict. House Salad Kiddos shared the Berry Berry Belgian Waffle, Chocolate Waffle with a side 2x sausage, 2x bacon, and eggs. Kiddo and wifey ate it with gusto. They loved it. I also enjoyed mine as well. Portion size are plentiful and perfect in my opinion. Would recommend. This was also my 1st experience at Jimmy Eggs as well. read more

Jimmy's Egg isn't usually my first choice but this time it was a good one. Looking at their menu before I even headed that way and found exactly what I was craving, chicken and waffles and eggs. It wasn't the best I've ever had but it was good for the price. Service was okay. read more

Jimmy's Egg Hefner - 2/2026 Chicken and waffles and eggs - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Very mid, which is okay I guess for the price, but I've eaten at the MacArthur location a lot and this one just seemed a bit off. Service was decent but pretty slow. The waitress asked us if we were ready like 10 seconds into the exchange then didn't come back for 10 minutes. That seems like odd benchmarks to check in. How about 2 minutes then 5 minutes, or something more normal? Again, not a big deal, just a super mid experience. The website is also grotesquely inaccurate. The item I was intending to order was not on the actual restaurant's menu and the server had no idea what I was talking about (not her fault). It wasn't an odd item either. I've ordered it before (Steakhouse Melt). I can't even select my location (or any other OKC location on the website, even though there are at least three that I know of). My memories of the Cuban were positive, but this seemed really bland and fast foody. It also didn't help that for some reason it came by itself, without my side, which again, not a big deal, but resulted in the saddest looking meal I've ordered in years. The curly fries were also suspiciously bland, which I didn't think was possible. More "oily" taste than flavor. If Arby's or Jack in the Box has superior fries to a sit-down restaurant, that's pretty wild. All in all, it is what it is, the world's okayest restaurant. And I guess that's fine. read more

This place is awesome! The service was attentive without being pushy. The food was fantastic! I ordered a combo with two eggs and they let me have Swiss and Jack as the two "sides". It was the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had. The ham steak was perfectly cooked and the bacon was crispy. I owe my friend big time for telling me about this place - I'll definitely be back! read more

We went this morning for the first time in a very long time. Now I remember why we quit going. A quick Yelp search for breakfast will return a huge variety of options. Choose any other. The bacon was limp and greasy. The sausage patties were overdone. The eggs we cooked over easy as I requested but were completely unseasoned. I guess this is normal? The raisin bread was literally blackened it was so burned. The hash browns were okay but needed more time in the pan and needed seasoning. At least the coffee was hot and black, though unremarkable. This was our last visit to what used to be a good restaurant. read more

Food is great, but I love a good cup of coffee with breakfast. They've stopped serving the delicious dairy creamers such as French vanilla for those of us who are dairy lovers. They only cater to the other crowd now. Service is great! Just remember to bring your coffee if you like it flavored the way I do. Btw, they serve the half n half, but who wants half and no flavor? read more

My first time visiting any location of JE, and I was not disappointed. The service was fast and with a smile. Always great service and clean restaurant. Decent wait times for food. Sometimes hashbrowns come out soggy, and the coffee is terrible, but otherwise most menu items are great. read more

Love Jimmy's egg. Favorite location because it's close to family! Their prices are always so reasonable and they give a great amount of food for the price. My favorite is always the Baja or Popeyes revenge omelette! Side of hash browns and cinnamon roll pancakes. Usually way too much to finish but all of it tastes so good. read more

This place is so good that even I can Hardley believe it. Just go in and find you something on the menus.

Friendly staff and courteous service, despite being extremely busy. I'm a big fan of their country skillet breakfast.

I was so pleased with how easy it was to place an online order. The food was excellent! I will be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience. read more

If you're a local, you should know that Jimmy's Egg is pretty clutch. On weekends, it always draws a good crowd. I've been to several locations and they always seem to do a good job managing the rush. This past weekend I checked out this location. While driving along Hefner Road, you could easily overlook it as it kind of blends in next to Dental Depot. Just something to keep in mind if you invite a friend to meet there for breakfast. Anyway, they have a decent sized parking lot to manage the breakfast rush. The meal portions are great, the price is even better, the staff is attentive, and the kitchen is good at getting the meals out fast. If you love breakfast, you should try Jimmy's Egg. If you're looking for a breakfast place where you can imbibe in some adult beverages, plan to take your shenanigans elsewhere! This is just a good breakfast & lunch diner where you can fill up on some tasty food and get on with your day! read more

We had a frightening experience there this Saturday morning (Sept. 7). Our party of seven had just been served our food when we heard a giant commotion in the kitchen area. Two waitresses had gotten into a screaming match which turned into a fight. Food started flying everywhere, including towards the counter where several patrons were seated. The next thing we knew our waitresses shouted "Call 911."She had been stabbed and was bleeding profusely from a head wound. My daughter and son-in-law who go there regularly said the manager was not there that day. Even so, what was even more awful than the fight, itself, was how their staff didn't know what to do in the situation. What should have happened is someone from Jimmy's Egg staff should have apologized for this situation and should have said all food was comped that day, but if you would like to tip your wait staff that would be appreciated. Instead most patrons left without paying; a few (Iike us) waited to pay even though we had barely touched our food. The good news is the police and a fire truck arrived promptly. A fellow patron who was a nurse had looked at the wound. But several children were in the restaurant were traumatized. And even I, an adult, can't stop thinking about it. Not what I expected at a family restaurant on a Saturday morning. read more

Jimmy's Egg no matter what location you choose, the food is pretty consistent. This location is pretty new and always busy. They service breakfast and lunch and close at 2pm. Their chicken fried steak is very good, I'm not fond of the sage tasting white gravy, so I order brown - I know it's not traditional, but it taste really good. One of my favorites is the Popeye's Revenge omelettes - bacon, mushrooms, spinach and jack cheese. Their hash brown are good. I do enjoy a good patty melt and theirs is very good, I know it's a frozen beef patty, but it's juicy and tasty, they use both American and Swiss cheese on grilled rye bread. The speedy service is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. read more

So the fake wife rolled into town with a real baby squirrell. That's not important right now but.... however. Anywho, before she left she said she could go for some breakfast. I've loved the Jimmys Egg since my younger lysergic years and this one is a mile away from the casa. I've never been to this one so I said, "WE ARE GOING HERE!!!" And we did.... Just like all the others (Jimmys Egg, not fake wives) it was right up to par. She said the hash browns were too soggy so I told her to quit pouring gravy on them. I got that "look" I could only barely not see cause we left our sunglases on. The only complaint I ever have about Ol' Jims Egg is the bacon. If I didn't love the bacon so much it would be full on 5 stars but it's just shy of crispy and too chewy for me. Kinda like pork belly jerkey. Service is always great and waitress woman did a wonderful job putting up with us getting bisquit gravy all over. When the gravy ends up on the bisquit yet under the gravy bowl on the same plate at the same time I expect to get smacked with a menu. Not this waitress. She just went about doing hard work like she knew she was getting a 25% tip. Fake wife also said the pancakes were too small but I explained to her that was so she wouldn't get too big. She said, "STOP THAT" but understood. That's a minor detail the Owl prolly wouldn't even get pissed about but he was home babysitting the baby squirrell, (remember the squirrell?). Besides us it was a very pleasant & calm atmosphere and not at all as busy as I would have thought for it being 11:00 in the AM. There's even a Dental Depot next door with a train you can play on but I'll get to that later. Typiclly as usual, I recomend any of Ol' Jimmys places for the Egg. Much better than Lennys or that other place you might be able to remember the name to at this very moment. Thank you and good day... read more

We have been to this particular location several times over the past few years, always for breakfast and usually on the weekend. I'm giving this four-star rating purely because the service has always been very good; the servers are very attentive, the food is brought out extremely fast, and the orders are always correct. Even when the other Jimmy's Egg locations will have a long wait to be seated, we have always been able to get a table immediately or within a few minutes at this location. The food itself is good, always consistent and tasty although maybe not something I would call out of this world. I've never disliked anything they brought out but at the same time I've never thought "oh, I need to get this all the time." Having said that, the only thing I've had that was below average were the biscuits on my last visit; they were a little bit hard and dry, even with the gravy. The Smoked Turkey Egg White Omelette is very good and does not taste at all like a "healthy option," even though it does have healthier ingredients. This is my go to option when I'm trying to reduce carbs. read more

After numerous visits to this Jimmy's Egg over the past couple of months, I'm giving it a bump to 5 stars. It's inexpensive, the food is always good, and the service is great. As I've said before, Jimmy's Egg can be hit-or-miss, but this location is a hit for me. I also tried their lunch last week. I ordered the Smoked Turkey Melt which is served on their homemade bread and consists of smoked turkey, bacon and tomatoes. Really tasty. I would prefer mustard on this rather than the standard mayo, but that's just me. And their fries are nothing to sneeze at either, these are damn good french fries. But today I tried the Popeye's Revenge omelet, which has spinach, mushrooms, bacon and jack cheese; it's my new favorite there and is really good. And don't forget to try their home made biscuits and gravy, you'll thank me for suggesting it. As I sat there enjoying the quiet atmosphere and friendly service, I realized that they indeed belong in my 5-star lineup. read more

I popped in here being it's all new and inviting. The breakfast is similar to what you would get at Denny's. Not amazing not bad. Average and filing. However you don't have to cook it yourself. The place is beautiful. The booths are comfy and a good place to get in and out. The service was outstanding. The whole staff takes turns rounding the customers asking if they need anything every 3-4 mins probably. Would be a nice place to meet with a group. read more

I have been going to Jimmies Egg for years and WAS my favorite Breakfast Restaurant in Oklahoma but that has now changed. Ever since the owner sold part of his restaurants to a chain to manage it had slowly gone downhill. The last straw for me was them changing from the homemade biscuits to premeasured frozen biscuits that are 1/3 to 1/2 the size they were before. The biscuit debris was my absolute goto breakfast and loved it. Now, no longer and I will not be back now. Good luck Jimmies Egg.... I hope no one else notices the changes you have made for the worse. read more

Usually like this location and i get that its the holidays. We got our food in decent time, then never saw our server again. Had to flag down a different server for a coffee refill and yet a different one for the check which I'm currently still waiting on. Its been 30 minutes. I should never have to wait this long. read more

This location is only about a mile from my house so this is a easy place to grab some great breakfast. You might have to stand in line to be seated but it goes quick. The service is always friendly and usually prompt depending on how busy they are, but I'm hardly ever in a hurry so it's fine with me. The menu is huge and has a wide range of breakfast and lunch items. They have all kinds of awesome flavored pancakes and if you want something you don't see on the menu they will make it for you. They've recently added calories to the menu, so that is helpful if you are counting them. They do have a Breakfast "Lite" section and also provide sugar free syrup! read more

Great food, horrible customer service. Pro tip: don't complain about your life and work politics with the customer you're waiting on. It's incredibly awkward and the customer really doesn't care. The chef is cool, that's about it. Don't come here if you're in a rush. There are other Jimmy's Egg locations that blow this location out of the water. read more

Was once a family favorite...something has changed. Server confused...food average...and prices are not worth what you get in a meal. Waited 15 minutes for a check with no apology from waiter. I spoke to the manager and she took my regular cup of coffee off my ticket...guess that was what she thought my complaint was worth. read more

Not as good as it used to be. We were there about 9am this Sunday morning and it wasn't crowded. Especially at breakfast I want good coffee and I don't know what coffee they use but I'd rate it about 3 out of 10. I asked for crispy bacon and had to send it back. The sausage gravy is misnamed because there was no sausage to be found. Service was just ok--nothing to brag about. At the register there was a line as their computer system was down, something the cashier says is not unusual. We eventually got the attention of our waitress and paid her cash. Hint: you might want to try Square. These days there are lots of breakfast choices and at least at this location, Jimmy's Egg needs to yp their game. read more

Food is good, service is mediocre! If looking for a hot breakfast in NW OKC with reasonable prices, this is a good choice.

I don't even know how many years we have been loyal customers at Jimmy's Egg. Having lived in OKC forever, I know we have been going to Jimmy's since not long after it first opened. Sometimes you just HAVE to have Jimmy's. You NEED that perfect omelette, the Home fries, the Belgium waffle...you know what I'm talking about!! Don't even get me to mention my secret love of the sinful biscuits and gravy... This review isn't about the food that I crave sometime and nothing else will do but Jimmy's...this is about something I have witnessed at this particular Jimmy's twice in the last few months and I haven't been able to shake my sadness. I realize a "Close at 2" means close at 2, but, really 2:03??? You can't serve the single, 65+guy?? He's alone, probably a widower, you still have things to do to close the restaurant, and you embarrass him and make him leave...at 2:03??? Really??? I saw the same manager, (I assume she's the manager) do the exact same thing on two occasions. If this is what happens when you become successful, then I wish Jimmy's Egg hadn't become so successful. Shame on you. That really nice, single, older guy couldn't have kept from leaving by 2:30, 2:45 at the latest. I don't think the Jimmy's Egg we started going to,oh so many years ago, would have made him leave. Success can be a real b****. read more

The place is usually great but today the waitress was a little confused on me telling her to have the staff make sure there isn't any more pubic hairs on people's fruit. It's disgusting and if I were to have been in a bad mood I would have walked back there and made the prep guy eat it himself. I had breakfast here on 04/28/2017. I had the Meat Lovers Skillet and it was delicious, as JImmy's food generally is. I only gave 3 stars because the service was lacking. When I sat down, I was asked what I wanted to drink and I said, "coffee please". The waitress never brought my coffee. She then came over to take my order and I had to remind her that I still had not received it. I had biscuit and gravy as my side choice but they failed to provide a spoon so I had to pour the gravy form the bowl, which was a bit messy. I love breakfast. I mean...truly, deeply, almost embarrassingly, love breakfast. But I also get down right cranky about bad service. This Jimmy's Egg is the only place I've eaten breakfast in OKC that wasn't hit or miss with service. I get exactly what I order in a fast, friendly manner, and if anything is ever wrong, it gets fixed IMMEDIATELY. The restaurant is always clean, the food is fresh and tasty, and everyone there makes us feel at home. Best of all ...my coffee cup is never empty. NEVER! I nearly hurt myself one morning just trying to see if I could finish the entire cup before it was refilled. After drinking enough coffee to make me shake like a paint can mixer, I failed. read more

This is the closest "sit-down" breakfast spot to home. I eventually had to branch away from this location because the food was always hit or miss on quality/freshness. Lukewarm eggs, cold gravy on top of biscuits, or undercooked bacon absolutely sabotages the whole meal. The prices are fair, but I'd rather pay a couple more dollars to guarantee the food comes hot and fresh out of the kitchen. Good Service read more

No type of social distancing they have all of their tables open and sit multiple families within just a few feet.
