Coming from San Diego where authentic Vietnamese food is common, my husband and I were in the search for same when we moved to Oklahoma last summer. Paris Bahn Mi was highly recommended by a friend, and we know why! I love the grilled pork vermicelli plate and have ordered it every time we've eaten here. Typically dish is served as a bowl, but Paris Bahn Mi presents vermicelli noodles in soft rolls alongside pork, a nicely fried chicken spring roll cut into bite size pieces, small salad of romaine lettuce and pickled cucumber slices, plus a lovely sauce mixture of chili oil in fish sauce. Highly recommend fried chicken spring rolls as an appetizer! You get three good size rolls. Our last visit my husband ordered the combination lo mein and had leftovers. I've had the same sandwich I got today from the Edmond location from a friend who bought his sandwiches from the Norman location but I wasn't impressed and wasn't impressed again at this location. I like the flavor and the price but to me, the bread is too tough and the sandwich is pretty dry especially if you eat it as is. We have been eating Pho for about 25 years. We had a couple of favorites in the Tulsa area, but just recently moved to Edmond. The pho here was as good if not better than our favorites in the Tulsa area. We both had the rare steak pho with all the extra sides (basil, bean sprouts, lime wedge, jalapeno slices, but no cilantro :( ). The broth had a wonderful flavor. The ambiance here was way better than our previous favorites. It has a French Bistro vibe. Nice piano background music. Very clean, tastefully decorated and offering fresh baked goods, gelato, macaroons and imported packaged foods. The croissant looked scrumptious. Order at the counter and a server runs the order out. Service was polite, but no chit chat. Appeared English was limited. We will be back to try the Banh Mi. read more

We will return! The location is convenient and in a beautiful retail center. The store is very clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly and patient. We ordered a banh mi sandwich & small bowl of pho to share for our late afternoon snack. Both were delicious! (Note: be careful with the pho as our arrived extremely hot and despite letting it cool for several minutes was so hot it burned my mouth. Ooops.) I have mixed feelings about this place. They have a lot of different menus on the walls and on the main menu. They provide a discounted rate for cash. My husband and I both got bahn mi sandwiches. The sandwich was actually really tasty. We also ordered sweet potato fries. They were on the small side and okay. Ordering was strange. I think the individual was messing with the register but she never said a word. We waited for minutes to order. Just felt awkward. After I ordered, I asked for waters. Like I'm in a Paris cafe... Cool music Chill vibe Total cafe I could hang at sipping boba. Our milk teas were FAB! And... buy 3 get 1 free! Our sandwiches were delicious. Fresh vegetables and crispy full of taste. Seasoned perfectly! My kiddos enjoyed their orders of eggroll, corn dog, and burger. And listen here, they-have-already-asked-to-come-back! The owner was so sweet and gave us all macarons to sample. (So delicious by the way.) The decor was very well thought out and it really completes the beautiful & peaceful feeling of this café. One of my kids is a baby who can't even talk and he was the only one crying and the others were upset because they were hungry (which you knew about) since the corn dog was too spicey for them --not being disruptive or misbehaving. The dirty dishes were at a nearby area (not our table). That response was disappointing and, frankly, makes absolutely no sense. I ended up taking them somewhere else where they could get food they would actually eat. But thanks for the concern (sarcasm). Later, the manager approached me about the experience and asked me to remove my comment. The conversation felt off--she seemed more focused on how the situation affected her than on making anything right. She also said she couldn't really offer anything today, which just felt odd and insincere. If you have kids, this probably isn't the place to go. Based on our experience, it's definitely not kid-friendly and their customer service is lacking. Not kid friendly. I visited with my three young kids. The menu is extensive but lacks clear descriptions, which made it difficult to know exactly what we were ordering. My kids wanted the "blue corn dog," and I specifically told the cashier we didn't want the "red corn dog" because it would be too spicy for them. Unfortunately, what we received was still too hot, and no one offered to fix the order or make it right. When I asked the cashier a few simple questions about the menu, she was very snooty and rude in her responses -- not helpful at all, especially when you're just trying to make sure your kids will enjoy their food. There was only one high chair, and it didn't work well with any of the tables -- too low for the tall ones and too high for the small ones. They also have a whole area meant for napkins, but it was completely empty and littered with dirty dishes. They didn't come to clean it the whole time I was there. We also used the restroom where there was no way to lock it. Even though it say to latch it for privacy? So, you know, if you want people walking in on you while you're on the toilet, this is the place to go. No soap either. The space is cute, but the poor customer service and lack of common ammenities (soap and napkins) really ruined the experience. The service was great. The staff up front was very kind and helpful. This cafe and bakery has a lot of food options: from banh mi to Korean corn dogs, pho, and other types of sandwiches. Also, there are specialty coffees and teas. But wait there's also cake and pastry too. The place was clean and spacious. I had their grilled pork banh mi and it was good. Some pieces of the meat were fatty and tough but it was flavorful with a hint of lemongrass. My peach iced tea was great and wasn't overly sweet. Overall I would come back for lunch. read more

Absolutely perfectly on point! I had a Baja mi w/grilled pork. Delicious! The only thing I'd change is add a good amount of pickled carrots but that's just my preference. So, being Vietnamese American, I'm a stickler about people spelling Bánh Mì correctly. It means bread in Vietnamese. Please don't misspell it "Bahn Mi!" It's not spelled phonetically!!!! Yeah I talking to you! You know who you are! I saw your pic on the place on Penn Ave! Breathe.... OK! So this place is so cute! The women behind the counter are incredibly friendly and helpful. The place has cute pastries and gelato. They have interesting Asian snacks. I will definitely return to try the Pho and the Korean Corndogs. I had an artichoke tea. It had jelly bits in it instead of boba. Very refreshing. And I had the #1 Special Combo which was very good. The meats were well seasoned and the butter/mayo/pate combo was delicious. This is a chain with all the other locations in other states; mostly Florida. But it looks like a Vietnamese family runs it. My only issue is there are different cash vs credit card prices, which is a pet peeve of mine. read more

Paris Banh Mi gets all five stars! I got the special banh mi and the grilled pork banh mi. Both were made with homemade mayo and pate, which a lot of places around town don't really do anymore. The banh mi ingredients were fresh. The bread is similar to what you'll get at Lee's in the Asian District. The crab rangoon was also a nice treat to round out my meal. The staff were very friendly. They were selling a few Asian packaged grocery items, hot food to order, drinks, and desserts. We tried a variety of macarons. The pistachio and chocolate flavors were pretty good, the others not so much. I really wanted iced coffee, but they do not sell iced coffee here. I was looking for a new Pho place in Edmond and I found Paris Bahn Mi. This Bahn Mi shop has a little bit of everything. I ordered the veggie pho (not vegetarian), the veggie Bahn Mi (vegetarian), matcha milk tea, and a slice of matcha sponge cake. The pho is really tasty and the Bahn Mi was delicious. My only complaint is that there doesn't seem to be a vegetarian broth option, but other than that, this a really nice restaurant with great options. The owner is very sweet and let me try a macaron (I'll be ordering those next time). I walked in and ordered to go. One of my favorite places to get a good bánh mì (Vietnamese sandwich). Their phở and boba tea is good as well. I have yet to try their Korean hot dogs, but I've heard only good things so far. A relaxing cafe and quiet setting in Edmond. Imagine that Banh Mi with pate cilantro Asian veggies with some firecracker shrimp and refreshing fruit tea on that baguette crisp shell and very filling. This place has it. It is hidden on a not so used location and offers up gelato and cheesecakes and flan. Thy have a nice staff that greets you when entering.
