Just an update several years later to say this place is still AWFUL. Tried it again today just for an appetizer of beef spring rolls and literally threw the food away. It was lunch time and the place was empty on a Saturday, I should've taken the hint, It was inedible, tasted super bitter and had an aftertaste of cleaning chemicals. Everything was just poor quality, the butt end of iceberg lettuce and 2 tiny pieces of beef, no carrots, cucumber, sprouts, nothing, it just screams CHEAP. The two literal children running the register just seal the deal, here, they look so sad and bored. Haphazard doesn't begin to describe this place, I sincerely don't know how it's still open but I urge you to reconsider coming here. read more

Love this hole in the wall place! The owner was super friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The food comes out hot and fresh and with anything and everything you need. This restaurant typically serves this dish with a beef rib bone but they ran out that day. I subbed for +extra meatballs. The flavor is good, the service(the employee, not the owner) was good. Environment is sub par. The problem we had is majority of the meat in our pho was fat chunks. I expressed my disappointment about it with our server. I had no intention of leaving a review till the owner talked to me. When talking to the owner he basically told me I was wrong about my perspective on pho. Pho is supposed to have lean thin slices that generally are cooked when they get added to the broth. He argued with me in an insulting and you don't know what you're talking about type way. I've come to this place a couple times before but the entire experience every time was very poor. Pro: big parking lot, friendly staff. Con: slow service, food, price. Was initially going to eat at another pho restaurant but didn't realize that they were closed on Monday so after looking online we found this establishment with some good reviews. For thing for me is that the store sign color blend to much into the background from a distance making it hard to find the restaurant. Parking lot is big so no issue there. Upon entering it is self seating and there is only 1 staff member who does the ordering and register so service is a bit slow. For appetizer, I order the shrimp spring roll and for my entree I had the Pho Tai. Starting with the spring roll the price of five dollar is a bit steep and when it arrives e the portion size was a bit small for that price. The peanut sauce flavor was a bit on the light side but pretty good when dip with the spring roll. Like I always say you can determine if the pho is good by first tasting the broth. The broth was very perplexing because it was very light and for some reason tasted like a pizza. Not seasoned enough like an authentic pho. The wait time for the food is the biggest negative because it took about 10+ min for the spring roll to come out and then another 10 min for the pho. Also, the server forgot to bring out the bean sprout and lemon till we were about finish. All in all, it was a subpar experience here and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant and most likely won't come back here again in the future. read more

Family run, of course. Nicest people! Pho is the best on the north side, and who woulda thought wings would be a thing here?!?!! Several flavorful choices and they can customize the heat. New menu has a lot of new specialties that look yummy, but haven't tried yet. The Pho broth is tasty and the tofu veggie I usually have is perfect. Plenty of both in the pho. Deep bowls keep the pho hot. Only authentic beef broth here. Spring rolls are fresh and cold. Lemongrass Beef Vermicelli is one of my husband's favorites. Wish they had a chicken version for me! Stopped by yesterday to this little gem. I was looking for Boba teas in the Edmond area and this one popped up and they had Pho too. I had ne er heard of it before,so I swung by. I was seated right away. The server Anne Tran ( per the receipt) was super friendly and cheery. I ordered the P9- which is pho with rare steak, fatty brisket and flank. It came with a side of bean sprouds,sprouts,, basil,jalapeños and limes. The broth was pure perfection. I normally go to Pho Cuong in OKC,but this place is legit. I didn't need Sriracha or hoison ...but out of habit,I did add some. I also ordered the Hokkaido ( a creamy black tea) with Boba. It was DIVINE. The prices were very good. The regular bo was only $10.50 but it was a big hearty bowl. I really enjoyed this place. It was quaint and nicely decorated with simplicity. It is on Santa Fe. My husband bought take out yesterday... I had the P1 or pho dac biet and wow.. it was awful. You get exactly four pieces of brisket (very small), rare beef, and 3 meatballs that has been sliced into fourths from one whole meatball. I don't even know where to begin. It was so bad that we should have just eaten instant noodles. The meatballs were disgusting. Had a terrible plastic after taste that will ruin your taste buds. The broth is bland, flavorless, and had a weird flavor. I just can't describe it. I never not drink all of my broth and this one I did not. In fact I was disgusted by the broth. You barely get any meats here, broth is bad, meatballs has a weird after taste. As if that wasn't bad enough, they give you a fortune cookie that is stale and taste bad too! I realize I sound like a griper right now but I am 100% honest. I eat pho at least once every week. Proud Vietnamese pho lover here and trust me when I say not all pho is made equally. Just because a place opens up and dab the pho sign on it does not mean anything. Pho is all in the broth, and the accessories aka noodles, meats, garnishes, ALL make a difference in this unique and flavorful Vietnamese noodle soup. It's like this... everyone wants to grill burgers but not all burgers and meat patties are the same. You find a burger restaurant and it does not mean they are the burger pro! I've tried a few dishes from here. My fav appetizers are the wings, mainly the basil sriracha wings. Wings are usually meaty and FULL of flavor! Pho is a massive bowl, with a decent amount of meat. I like eating their shaken beef dish w/ rice. It's served in a sizzling platter with onions and thinly sliced potatoes w/ a side of rice. Great flavor w/ a hint of sweetness. Dropped in for dinner tonight. I had read through previous Yelp reviews and decided to see if I could find a local Pho place that was as good as I get in the city. Pho Bistro did not disappoint. While I failed to get photos of our meals pre-eating, they were really good. We started with beef spring rolls. These rolls were HUGE. I could have made a meal out of them alone. We got chicken fried rice and a bowl of beef pho. The fatty brisket in the pho was so flavorful. Both dishes were excellent. We both left full and happy. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The waitresses were super friendly and kept our drinks filled and checked on us to make sure we were happy. If you are looking for a local family owned Pho restaurant I definitely suggest this one. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the Edmond area. Very nice people. Kept checking if we had questions or needed anything else. Smaller place but it has a good atmosphere and doesn't feel crowded at all - which is super nice for a family run restaurant. I got Pho with chicken - which was good. We ate here last night with my family... I have to say, we really enjoyed it. I was skeptical about this place at first since it's so new and but was willing to give it a try. First of all, our waitress, Elizabeth, was really pleasant and helpful. She was the only one waiting on tables, and she did a great job making us feel welcomed. Not only was the food delish, we had an adult who's a picky eater, who even ordered a second plate of the broken rice w pork. I think everyone pretty much ate all their food. I had the brisket and rare steak pho, and I have to say, I was quite pleased with it. Broth was good, not too salty not too sweet. The noodles and meat were all on point. Wish they would have given a bit more of the meat. My hubby had the beef stew with noodles and a side of the baguette, and pretty much devoured it. I loveeee BOBA tea... and this place also served it too. I'm real picky when it comes to my boba, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to try it here... but once my friend tried it, and I gave in and got one too. We had the Hokkaido milk tea and a thai tea with boba, and a green tea w lychee jelly.... . It was delish. It was a bit sweet, but they were more than happy to fix it for us. We ordered togo because some friend talked about the place. Bún Bò Huế (Spicy Beef Noodle) was NOT good at all, doesn't taste right, more like a broth with lemongrass only, missing many flavor. If you think it's good, then I guess you never have a real BBH in your life lol...Tôm xào b tỏi (butter Garlic shrimp) was so overwhelming with garlic sauce. Too much of anything make the food taste horrible...Ordered a brown sugar boba drink, ended up with just regular milk tea and Coffee jelly. The waitress was rude, tried to argue that brown sugar boba tea should come with coffee jelly instead even though 5 minutes ago she asked if we wanted Boba....hahaa...im speechless...they don't bother to correct their mistake anyway, and would try to weld their way.
