Long time customer of Dot Wo and still one of my favorite restaurants in Oklahoma. Dot Wo never disappoints. The food and service is consistent. My favorites are the salt and pepper pork, salt and pepper tofu, crispy chicken, beef chow fun, and green beans. Everything is always seasoned perfectly, not too salty or anything. Enjoyed ordering take out from Dot Wo. The food was flavorful. The price point is a bit on the higher end and we usually have doctor up their fried rice, but it's good. I must say the food was absolutely delicious I enjoyed it so much my favorite I had was the crab Rangoon and Egg Rolls both on point and love the sweet and sour chicken the sauce definitely on point balance and everything little bit of sweet and sour like it should be but there was some items missing I was surprised it wasn't on there the Pu-Pu Platter for variety of appetizers and Egg Fo Young I was like not on a Chinese food yall should think about adding and making those to the menu in my opinion other than that it was amazing great job guys well deserved indeed I was looking for the best Chinese restaurant in OKC and I believe it's you guys read more

The ambiance is great. It's nice, clean, well decorated and comfortable. The cloudy crab tank is a little scary. The service was excellent. Mae was always near and our glasses stayed full. I honestly expected more from the food. The hot and sour soup was served in a very small bowl. The egg roll was a little dry. The hot mustard sauce is a winner with a good amount of kick. The broccoli beef lacked flavor. Actually, it was bland and lifeless and the meat to broccoli ratio was really low particularly in view of the plate cost. This may be one of those places acceptable for their lunch special which looked to be of good value, but the meal didn't measure up to the main menu and cost. read more

Service was great we got to go but on the other hand the food is not great the chicken lomein was dry and didn't have a lot of flavor and my bf got sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. Chicken was great but the fried rice was incredibly disappointing... like you can't call rice with maybe a hint of soy sauce, no veggies and no egg fried rice. We walked into the restaurant, where a large party of about 20 people was already seated, with around 12 kids at their table. We were sent to a corner booth across the room. As we were settling in, my son started circling our table being a kid. At one point, he climbed onto the opposite side of our table and tried to sit in one of the chairs. Out of nowhere, an older Asian woman,presumably the owner, came over, looked at my son, and sharply said, "No, no!" She then picked him up and placed him back on the floor. Afterward, she turned to the large group of diners and loudly asked, "Who's baby is this?" We were confused at first, unsure of what was happening, but when she asked the question, we told her, "He's our baby!" and the moment seemed to click for her. Her expression shifted to one of realization, and she immediately apologized, saying, "Oh, I'm so sorry! So sorry!" My son was obviously terrified and began to cry. I understand that she didn't want the other party's kids bothering other customers, but even if that wasn't our child, you DO not touch other people's children. Food was not even good, but our server was really kind. Do not recommend!! Probably the most disturbing dining experience I've ever experienced. read more

Mother's day I visited the Dot Wo on Memorial Road. I had calamari and it was good. The family dinner order was quite a lot of carrots. Once I moved all the carrots, the beef was tender and good. It was a bit disappointing, because everything else was delicious. read more

I've driven past this intersection a thousand times and never noticed this restaurant sitting amongst the others. It was recommended by a friend and was a good choice. There's a full service bar so you can enjoy adult beverages along with your meal. I tried a small cup of the egg drop soup and found it as expected but with some little straws of "crackers" on the side in place of the standard flat crunchy won tons. They were a delightful change of pace. My husband tried an egg roll and said it was delicious. I picked the Crunchy Chicken with Peking sauce and fried rice for my entree. It was pretty good but was missing something that I couldn't put my finger on. It had a little bit of spice but I like that. The portion was enormous. I'm including a picture of the clamshell of leftovers that I took home. It seemed so heavy that I weighed it and was surprised to discover that it was 1.4 pounds of leftovers!! You won't leave hungry. My husband had the crab fried rice. I couldn't believe he managed to eat his entire serving. He said it was delicious with a generous amount of crab and was well seasoned. He also chose the fried rice instead of steamed rice. The atmosphere is nice and it's well decorated. We are rather early so it was quiet. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive and we never wanted for anything. The waitress offered to add the fried rice with my take home portion. Order for delivery at my home tonight. Food was fresh and hot. Crab was good and lo main with orange chicken was the best. Grabbed a few more trays of shrimp king pow and pork belly. When this restaurant was in Edmond my husband and I enjoyed having date nights there. We hadn't been since they moved so we decided to try the most recent location near Memorial. I only visit OKC a few times a year. I've passed by this place several times and thought... mmmmmno. Doesn't even look authentic. Ambience a bit cheesy. But? I was in the mood for a cocktail and an app. Both were STELLAR! Can't remember which cocktail, probably because I had two. But it was very good, which had me ordering another. It was made with fresh, quality ingredients. No fake squeeze bottle of lime juice at Dot Wo's! Our cocktails were fresh and potent. Ended up getting many appetizers: scallion pancakes, pot stickers, egg roll, fried wantons and an order of pork fried rice, just cause. Very good! Whomever was back there on the wok, must have been certified in far eastern cooking. The server was spunky, fun and knew her menu! She knew what dishes worked well together. By the time we left, I felt like a regular. This is now my go-to cocktail bar in OK. read more

We are huge Chigama fans! Everything we have tried has been amazing! The atmosphere is very cool and relaxed, we always spend all evening there visiting even after our food is gone. The staff is kind and attentive and never make us feel rushed. We have had the opportunity to try the Orange Chicken, the Ma La Chicken, the Za Jiang Mein, pork dumplings, fried rice, calamari, and even the churros! Nothing disappointed! Yelp needs to do something about the many irrelevant old Chigama reviews here, which closed here nearly two years ago. Since new owners took over, gone are the interesting Asian-Mexican fusion dishes. Now their menu is mainly somewhat pricey Chinese and Chinese-American dishes, dinner entrees ranging from $12-20+. Just today we had their very good orange peel chicken ($13.95). Chicken fried until almost too crispy, then sauced all sticky and caramelized, but great taste with a vinegar finish. It took me right back to college date nights at P.F. Chang's circa 2005 with my future husband -- back when it was the place to be seen. Sixteen years later, the Americanized part of Dot Wo's menu is very similar. I have yet to try any of their more authentic items. Another example of their pricing, even their sesame chicken is $13.95, nearly twice the price of my neighborhood spot down the street, yet with similar flavor. A few negatives that further dropped their rating...They gave us such a tiny amount of rice in a little bowl, it wasn't nearly enough and they wanted to charge us for more. They then hassled me about a Yelp coupon I had. Eventually honoring it, but only after rudely attempting to weasel out of it. To us servers were of few words and standoffish, though drinks were refilled. Yet they are much friendlier and chatty with other clientele. Go figure. Also, I do like their interesting dining room styling, modern like a lounge in Las Vegas. But lack of customers makes the very orange and string lit room feel extra empty. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. Maybe if the prices were more reasonable. read more
