China King has been around for a long time. It is a Chinese Buffet. They are always super busy. You do get a vast variety of Chinese food. The Mongolian stir fry bar is decent. They have a sushi area, frog legs, clams, steaks, salmon, ribs, and very delicious hot and sour soup. The desserts bar is pretty plain. I'm not impressed with the desserts section. The service here is not bad. They always kept my glasses full. I have been here a handful of times and never had any issues. They are have no competition around and I think therefore they do really well. read more

Ordered for dinner that we picked up. Food was ready when they said it would be. Eggdrop soup- delicious. Perfect flavor and consistency. My wife had Sesame Chicken, I thought it was a little tough. Not too bad I couldn't eat it, but I would rate as average, but she said she would order again. I had Mongolian Beef. I thought mine had better taste and beef was very tender, I would order it again. We both had the "fried rice", I really think it was just white rice dyed yellow, very average. Egg rolls were good, not stand out, but we would get again. Service was friendly. My family has eaten here a dozen times and it's pretty consistent. The food is a step up from other Asian joints in the area and the prices are not terrible. The only bad thing I've gotten from here was a General Tso that tasted stale and old. Weirdly enough it's only happened once so maybe it was a fluke. I used to love this place but they've changed a few things over the past year including using rice noodles as a filler in dumplings and charging for extra sauce. The dinners don't have the same volume and seem to have substantially less meat. I'm very disappointed as this was my place for takeout on my way home. Well, the other reviews are pretty accurate. Cheap, questionably sourced Chinese food saturated with MSG. Sometimes that is what you crave though, so we gave them a shot. Not the best, nor the worst, but we will probably be back, though I wish they would come down on their prices just a bit... $8 for 6 "chicken" sticks? Cmon. I stopped by here on the way to my parents to get them some dinner as a pick-me-up for a rough day they were having. They have an extensive menu and I ordered the sesame chicken, fried rice, shrimp lo mein, and crab rangoon. It was SO good! It is perhaps the best crab rangoon and sesame chicken I have ever had! The fried rice is more like seasoned rice and I wouldn't pay extra for that again but the rest was great! My parents loved it and said it was better than other takeout places that they frequent. They definately gained multiple faithful customers! I returned a few weeks later to get some for my husband to try and this time we also had some egg rolls. SO DELICIOUS! The portions and prices are great and my husband and I were able to make 2 meals for me and 1 meal for him out of one single sesame chicken and the 2 egg rolls and crab rangoon. They were out of meat on a stick for the Pu Pu platter but I plan to order that as well next time! The lady at the front owns the restaurant with two of her brothers. She is super friendly and was constantly cleaning everything while I was there. I am definately going to be a customer for life and will recommend it to others in the future! read more

I ordered a couple of dishes via Door Dash for a couple of meals. Both items were delivered very hot. I ordered the chef special egg foo young and it was decent. Not great but decent. I also ordered the Mongolian Chicken. The flavor was fine, but the chicken was very mushy to the point of not even really being able to tell it was chicken, or any other meat. It was close to the consistency of tofu. With all the other choices in the area I will probably not go back. read more

We ordered for the first time from this restaurant...delivery....and it was very good. Delivery was fast too. Very nice on phone and delivery person. We had 2 lg. egg drop soups, Lg. Mongolian beef and Lg. Szechuan chicken. All very good but the Mongolian beef was very very good. I will be getting it again. This was my first time ordering delivery from here thanks to covid-19. I was happy to see they had the PuPu Platter - which I like. It was pretty good but there is one aspect to be aware of. All of my egg rolls, even the ones I ordered separate from my platter, tasted like fish. To me, that means they are not changing the cooking oil in a timely fashion. It ruined my dinner. The scallops in mine had a gritty texture, the lobster/crab? was extremely overcooked, the crab was cheap imitation with a weird slimy texture. The shrimp wasn't too bad, but again overcooked. The vegetables and sauce were real good though. My mother had the same complaint about the imitation crab in her shrimp with lobster sauce.
