Sesame chicken here was passable, typical, very sweet, drowning in sauce. After our first visit, we thought portion size was light. But in fact, we somehow accidentally got a combo. Second time around, delivery, portions were the right size, big. Orange chicken was pretty good. Just be sure to eat around the freshly sliced orange peel, it's just a seasoning. Hot and sour soup had good flavor, but some weird vegetables in it like lettuce. Wait for it to cool a little so it loses it's jelly consistency. Ordered on 6/27/23 the chicken lo mein to go. Served to my kids and one of kids barely at it, commenting that it smells funny. 30 mins later, my first kid threw up completely. 1.5 hrs later, my second kid throws up completely. Went back the next day to let them know that maybe the chicken was bad. Female owner basically looked at me in disgust saying that she knows how to make chicken and I don't know what I'm talking about. Throws me my refund and walks away. I should honestly call the food inspectors, which I might do and give them a surprise visit on a random day sometime in the next six months. Never eating here again!!! read more

I decided to have China house deliver food to my place of work. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and one vegetable roll and one pork roll. It came with fried rice. The food was delivered hot. The chicken itself was well cooked. The batter was thin and golden brown. The chicken was a bit on the dry side. I found a piece of bone in one of the pieces of chicken so please be careful when you order from China House. Both the vegetable and pork rolls had crispy crusts. This was the best part about them. The interior of both was far too leafy for my taste. The scarcely cut cabbage was chewy and more like eating a salad. The rice was sticky white rice suitable for sushi perhaps but not complimentary to sweet and sour chicken. The sweet and sour sauce was adequate if a bit syrup like. All in all not a great source for Chinese food and beware of bones in the chicken. read more

You can order your food through Yelp Eat24 for easy pickup. That's what I did on my way to the car. Got to China House ten minutes later and they had my order ready and waiting. That was quick! Too quick... I've had China House in the past and it was always disappointing. It was either super saucy and too sweet, or undercooked and tasteless. This time was better, with a good mix of sauce and spice. The service could still be better (you'll probably get a lady on her Bluetooth headphone talking to someone else while she rings you up) but for a $5.50 lunch combo, you could definitely do worse. read more

I have this delivered at least 2-3 times a month (almost once a week it seems lately). The same nice gentleman delivers it hot and fresh Before the quoted wait time too! I will say that I am obsessed with sauces/sides so I end up requesting more and it's always there. I've had quite a few dishes from here, Sweet 'n Sour Chicken, Cashew Chicken, Vegetable Lo Mein, Chicken Lo Mein, Hot 'n Sour Soup, Egg Drop Soup, Vegetable Chow Mein, Egg Rolls and I'm sure more. Excellent!!! Dropped by late Friday night and ordered the shrimp in graphic sauce. They made it fresh while I waited. The proportions are big and the qualities of food is excellent! We have gotten takeout from here for about ten years. Since the pandemic we have had it about once every couple of weeks. It has been consistently GREAT! We usually get Chicken with vegetables in brown sauce. We ask for all the vegetables we can get. They really do a good proportion of the chicken and vegetables. We ordered beef lo mein, small with extra beef, and a combo plate of Mongolian beef. The small beef lo mein with extra beef was perfect for one person and tasted average. The Mongolian beef was horrible. The menu indicated spicy, but the only detectable spice was an abundance of black pepper. The "fried rice " that came with it looked like yellow rice with a couple of peas in it. Very bland. The egg roll was fair. The size of the combo meal with extra beef was enough for two (except for the single egg roll), but I threw out the majority of it, because that black pepper was so overwhelming. I ordered with the beyond app. I ordered crab Rangoon and pepper steak which came to about $14. When he got here the bag was so small so I already knew I was going to give it back. One it was white rice and it was in the smallest container I've ever seen in my life and the pepper steak was in a med size container. We order from China House regularly. It's about what you would expect from Chinese food delivery--not super fancy, but tasty and filling. The beef lo mein is my favorite. Their sweet and sour shrimp is good, also. We haven't found anything that we didn't like there. My husband says that their sesame chicken is really good and he likes their soups.
