The gyudon was dry, expensive, and kinda bland. (Also spicy which I was disappointed about). Portion sizes are super tiny and prices are way high. Boyfriend got sushi and said it was good. I wanted to adore this place so much but sadly, I didn't! I came here once to have boba and I thought it was a little too sweet, so this time I asked for half the sugar and it was great. Very reasonably priced, so there's a pro for you! We got the takoyaki, the spicy salmon roll, and the spicy tuna roll. Takoyaki was wonderful! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Octopus inside was slightly overcooked and chewy, but for the price point it was well off. We tried the simplest rolls to see how they'd taste without the extra sauce and all the added stuff - because what roll wouldn't taste great drenched in mayo? Sadly to say, the rice needed to be seasoned more! It needed more sauce as well. But the bright side is that they weren't selfish with the fish. But definitely needs more flavor to it. Another thing - we came when it was a little busy, and was a little upset with how they were a slight mess with their ordering system. We probably were second in line with both boba and food, and while our food came in fast, I got my boba way later, and my boyfriend only got his boba when we were done with our meal. So, eh. Great for if you are craving late night sushi without a far drive! When I went to UCO, my group of friends and I would stop by late at night when we are craving decent sushi. Prices are standard - there's cheap rolls and more fancy expensive rolls on the menu. It's a small restaurant with a small staff, so it can get pretty crowded around dinner time. However, the servers are all friendly and attentive. I always get the Golden Taipei roll - which is a deep fried roll topped with crawfish and covered in a delish sauce (I think it's eel sauce mixed with soy sauce..?). It's akin to a Red Rock Canyon at other restaurants, but the Golden Taipei isn't spicy at all which I prefer! The used to have hand rolls as well which my boyfriend liked, but we didn't see them on the menu anymore when we went on Sunday. They also offer boba tea here! I usually get their milk teas and they are always good and reasonably priced. They also offer a stamp card so if you buy 10 drinks you get 1 free. Overall, great place for a late night dinner or boba run. If I was still living in Edmond, I would come by more often, but it's a long drive for me now. read more

The restaurant is within a plaza near downtown Edmond. The location is not too hard to spot. The restaurant itself is relatively small but enough to possibly hold 25 capacity. The seating areas have some booths and individual tables. They also have a booth on the side wall and a sushi bar to seat at. The interior designs also have paintings from local artists. The food was good; but the service was slow. The staff are friendly but it took awhile to get our water and menu. It seems to have only 3 people running in total; which is not enough. Tea was super watery/barely had any flavor and the boba obviously hadn't been soaking in syrup, so it was also bland. Also got the crispy fried tofu. Slightly disappointing. It came out hot, but the skin was thicker than what I would have liked and the dipping sauce was straight up hoisin. I remember when this place used to be really cute and cozy with bookshelves filled with Japanese fashion magazines and board games. Now the dining room is empty and cold.
