It's a hole-in-the-wall which I don't mind, usually the best places are, but the food here didn't quite impress. While they have tables available, I think this is best used for to-go or take/away meals.

The menu is huge, carrying both Chinese and Japanese fare. The lady at the counter was friendly and helpful, explaining to us what they have. She recommended we get the Chinese food so that's what we did. The Wonton Soup was not bad, soup was hot, wontons were full albeit a tad too salty. Unfortunately it was the only best dish we ordered. The Broccoli Beef was overwhelmingly sauced. And the Shrimp wasn't sauteed hot enough so the skin stuck to the meat when we tried to peel. The Roast Duck surprised me as I was expecting the typical Chinese Roast Duck, but this one was deeply sauced and too sweet. Funny enough, the free California Roll was decent though.

Their katsu is outstanding, and they put effort into the katsu sauce. For the side salad, the dressing is also wonderful. Surprisingly an omelet is included with the bento box. He said I would definitely try the bad ass after a lot of the reviews. We went ahead and went with the Titan and we went with the and the Devon. What a wonderful choice hands-down it's the best sushi. I've eaten in this entire area and let me tell you. I've eaten it. Several sushi we never had to ask for our drinks to be refilled. We always leave happy, full, and we know another visit here is in our future. It's a mom-and-pop shop that's earned every bit of its loyal following--and they absolutely deserve your support. The vibe? Like family. We always dine in, and one of our favorite things is watching the owners greet regulars like old friends: "Hey, good to see you! How's your kid's soccer season going?" "We've missed you--haven't seen you in a while!" Or even, lol "See you next week!" It's that kind of place. And if you're grabbing takeout? They've got that down, too. I think more folks get to-go orders than dine in. They have a few modest tables and a small TV that plays something in the background. This place is the epitome of your favorite casual spot where you come back again and again and order your one favorite thing because it's just that good. Build your dream poke bowl. Whatever inspires you--go for it. In my humble opinion, this is still the best poke bowl in the OKC metro. We've tried others... but we always end up comparing them to this one. And honestly? Nothing beats it. So we stopped trying and just keep coming back here. I love to add the seaweed salad and all the sauces on mine. I go back and forth between 1/2 salad and rice or just rice as my poke base. The Salmon and tuna (along with all the other ingredients) always taste fresh. Come here. It's the perfect lunch or dinner on the go spot before your Target or Lowe's run, they're both nearby-that's what we do. Thanks, The One Cafe team. You know we love you. See you soon! July 2025

It's inviting and so unique and fun! I wore some bright colors for a good contrast in pictures. When you walk in they have a huge menu screen on the wall plus they will give you a laminated menu to hold and look at. They also have pictures of some of the dishes next to the register. As a filet mignon lover I naturally went for the "pho-let". I also ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. I was given a number and found a seat along the wall featuring all the planets. Everywhere you look is something fun and quirky. Even the drink dispenser is only black and white! It was cool to see the well known drink logos in b&w. I also really loved the bowl of pho and drink characters holding hands throughout the place. After a short time the egg rolls arrived at the table with a glistening cheesy sauce on the side. The crunch was amazing and the meat inside was quality! Nicely chopped with a great chew. The sauce had the peppers in it and had a kick of spice as well. Awesome snack! Then the pho arrived and it was glorious! A generous serving of filet lay across the top and the server asks you how's you like it cooked and then pours the broth over top accordingly. I couldn't stop watching as the steaming broth filled the bowl. Perfect for a gloomy day. The first bite was everything I expected and more! Tender filet, perfect noodles, all the accouterments and that broth that was seasoned to perfection. Multiple times my table was checked on and the server even brought out extra goodies like sprouts, basil and limes. I was so content. I couldn't finish the ginormous serving so I grabbed a to go bowl conveniently located near the drink dispenser. I will definitely be back and I will be telling and bringing everyone I know. It ended up being the perfect spot for an early "date day" dinner with my wife before heading over to the OKC Civic Center Music Hall to see The Wiz. We started with the spicy calamari and spring rolls, both of which were excellent and came with delicious dipping sauces to boot. For our mains, I went with the shrimp Pad Thai and she chose the curry shrimp with rice noodles. Neither disappointed, and the dragon fruit refreshers hit the spot. The real showstoppers, though, were the desserts. We noticed a new addition to the menu--the warm butter cake. It's absolutely one of our favorites, and their version instantly took us back to the first time we ever indulged in it out in Vegas. We also tried the key lime pie, and it was probably the best I've ever had. It was light, fluffy, perfectly limey, and topped with whipped cream just the way I like it. Great food, nostalgic desserts, and the perfect pre-theater dinner. We'll definitely be back!
