Hot Stone Pho On the side: - noodles - meat - veggies, I ask for steamed sprouts My soup stayed hot throughout my entire meal, I love that! This restaurant typically serves this dish with a beef rib bone but they ran out that day. I subbed for +extra meatballs. I've tried many many maaaany pho restaurants all over Oklahoma and this is the closest bowl that tastes like home. Will definitely come back to try their entire menu.

Majority of the meat on my dish was fat chunks

The flavor is good, the service(the employee, not the owner) was good. Environment is sub par. The problem we had is majority of the meat in our pho was fat chunks. I expressed my disappointment about it with our server. I had no intention of leaving a review till the owner talked to me. When talking to the owner he basically told me I was wrong about my perspective on pho. Pho is supposed to have lean thin slices that generally are cooked when they get added to the broth. He argued with me in an insulting and you don't know what you're talking about type way. I've come to this place a couple times before but the entire experience every time was very poor. There are better places like Pho'bulous in Edmond.

Pro: big parking lot, friendly staff. Con: slow service, food, price. Was initially going to eat at another pho restaurant but didn't realize that they were closed on Monday so after looking online we found this establishment with some good reviews. For thing for me is that the store sign color blend to much into the background from a distance making it hard to find the restaurant. Parking lot is big so no issue there. Upon entering it is self seating and there is only 1 staff member who does the ordering and register so service is a bit slow. For appetizer, I order the shrimp spring roll and for my entree I had the Pho Tai. Starting with the spring roll the price of five dollar is a bit steep and when it arrives e the portion size was a bit small for that price. The peanut sauce flavor was a bit on the light side but pretty good when dip with the spring roll. Like I always say you can determine if the pho is good by first tasting the broth. The broth was very perplexing because it was very light and for some reason tasted like a pizza. Not seasoned enough like an authentic pho. The wait time for the food is the biggest negative because it took about 10+ min for the spring roll to come out and then another 10 min for the pho. Also, the server forgot to bring out the bean sprout and lemon till we were about finish. All in all, it was a subpar experience here and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant and most likely won't come back here again in the future.

Family run, of course. Nicest people! Pho is the best on the north side, and who woulda thought wings would be a thing here?!?!! Several flavorful choices and they can customize the heat. New menu has a lot of new specialties that look yummy, but haven't tried yet. The Pho broth is tasty and the tofu veggie I usually have is perfect. Plenty of both in the pho. Deep bowls keep the pho hot. Only authentic beef broth here. Spring rolls are fresh and cold. Lemongrass Beef Vermicelli is one of my husband's favorites. Wish they had a chicken version for me! Can't wait to try the Dry Ramen and the Vietnamese style Papaya Salad. Restaurant is always clean and service is efficient and friendly.

Stopped by yesterday to this little gem. I was looking for Boba teas in the Edmond area and this one popped up and they had Pho too. I had ne er heard of it before,so I swung by. I was seated right away. The server Anne Tran ( per the receipt) was super friendly and cheery. I ordered the P9- which is pho with rare steak, fatty brisket and flank. It came with a side of bean sprouds,sprouts,, basil,jalapeños and limes. The broth was pure perfection. I normally go to Pho Cuong in OKC,but this place is legit. I didn't need Sriracha or hoison ...but out of habit,I did add some. I also ordered the Hokkaido ( a creamy black tea) with Boba. It was DIVINE. The prices were very good. The regular bo was only $10.50 but it was a big hearty bowl. I really enjoyed this place. It was quaint and nicely decorated with simplicity. It is on Santa Fe. I can't wait to go back with my family.

Pho was not good. Broth was bland, and I just couldn't finish it. Bubble tea was decent, but the straw was too small for the bobas. The grilled pork entree portion was very little (the pork was good). Main stop was for pho, so can't give a good rating. Service was fairly slow for a slow weekday. Waitress wasn't too friendly.

This pho place is fairly close to my house, so it's convenient. Taste overall is pretty satisfying and doesn't make me feel like I need to drive to asian town to get my "pho" fix. I've tried a few dishes from here. My fav appetizers are the wings, mainly the basil sriracha wings. Wings are usually meaty and FULL of flavor! Pho is a massive bowl, with a decent amount of meat. I like eating their shaken beef dish w/ rice. It's served in a sizzling platter with onions and thinly sliced potatoes w/ a side of rice. Great flavor w/ a hint of sweetness. Service is usually quick! I haven't tried their drinks, so I can't say anything about that!

We ordered togo because some friend talked about the place. Bún Bò Huế (Spicy Beef Noodle) was NOT good at all, doesn't taste right, more like a broth with lemongrass only, missing many flavor. If you think it's good, then I guess you never have a real BBH in your life lol...Tôm xào b tỏi (butter Garlic shrimp) was so overwhelming with garlic sauce. Too much of anything make the food taste horrible...Ordered a brown sugar boba drink, ended up with just regular milk tea and Coffee jelly. The waitress was rude, tried to argue that brown sugar boba tea should come with coffee jelly instead even though 5 minutes ago she asked if we wanted Boba....hahaa...im speechless...they don't bother to correct their mistake anyway, and would try to weld their way. I was excited to find out there was another vietnamese option not too far from home. I was disappointed to find that they're food was not amazing. They had many items on the menu, but nothing that had pictures looked great. I wish I had more to say about this one way or the other but it wasn't memorable. Nothing stands out. read more

I always get the P6 (pho with brisket and eye round steak) and it never disappoints. The broth is rich in flavor, the food is always piping hot, and the portions are a good size. The brisket is delicious, and their chicken spring rolls make for a divine appetizer. Worth a visit pho sho read more

Pho Bistro is just a few miles from our house, so we no longer have to drive to the Asian District for really good Pho. In fact, Pho Bistro's Pho is as good as the best restaurants in town. One of our go-to restaurants and highly recommended. read more

Very tasty!!!! We had 2 of the rare steak pho's which were exceptional and then an order of shrimp spring rolls. They were just okay compared to others we have had but still tasty! The sauce to dip them in however was delicious!!!! We will definitely be back!!! read more

I ordered pho ga for takeout and all I can say is it was ok. The chicken wasn't dry, which is nice, but the broth wasn't as flavorful as at other pho places. It certainly wasn't bad, I could eat here again, but it hasn't taken the place of my favorite. read more

Just finished lunch at Pho Bistro and it was delicious! My husband and I got the spring roll and shrimp roll appetizers and pho for lunch. I got the P2 and he got the P6. The rolls were fresh and delicious and the pho came out hot and quick. Our waitress, Liz was knowledgeable and friendly and the owner even checked to make sure we had a great meal. Delicious all around and it saves us a trip to the city when we are craving Pho (oh and the prices are reasonable, unlike some other Edmond Pho places). I grabbed a taro boba smoothie to go which was also delicious. Give this place a try!! :) read more

There are SO many thing's I love about this restaurant but where to start? First the food. Authentic Vietmanese pho broth is a lengthy process and one these cooks have down to an art. They take the time to prepare the pho properly to perfection. Everything is cooked as its ordered. Fresh! Nothing left under lights or heated "left overs " like so many places tend to do. The ingredients is so fresh and its all in the taste which is abundant in flavor. The price is wonderful as well as the portions which are more than generous. The service is impeccable . you are greeted as if you are the only customer from the moment you walk in. The scenery is very family friendly and relaxing complete with visual and auditory stimulation but not so overwhelming that you cant enjoy your friends company over a delightful meal. If you've had a negative experience there's no way you've eaten at pho bistro especially on a holiday. read more

I rarely give out bad reviews but the servers there were really bad. When my boyfriend and I went to eat there the server who greeted us was rude so she made us lose our appetite. One of the workers had their shoes off and was laying down in the booth touching their phone. Very unprofessional. Didn't have the appetite to eat anymore so we didn't even order and just left. read more

Overall the food was very good, the service was quick, and the restaurant was clean. My spouse and I split shrimp spring rolls. They were delicious and fresh tasting. I'm fairly certain they had been wrapped when we ordered them, as some of the ingredients were warm and some were cool. I had the beef fried rice which was tasty, although I would have put more meat in. I would give the beef fried rice 4 stars. I also had an iced coffee with sweet condensed milk, which was good also. My spouse had brisket pho. Which she said was very good. They had the standard fresh accoutrements and sauces, but they also had what seemed to be house made chili sauces. She rates the pho 5 stars. **Why 4 stars?** They have two TVs, one playing music videos from hair bands and soft rock. The other blaring curse words and gunfire, with children present. Overall the food and service fairs well against other pho restaurants we've tried in Edmond. We will be returning! read more

I've had pho both times I've been here. It was amazing. Good prices and high quality food. Everyone who works here is super friendly and welcoming. I had a nice conversation with the chef, and he went through the menu with me and showed me what to order next. I can't wait to explore the rest of the menu. I'd say the best pho in Edmond proper. Great service, small, intimate dining, friendly folks. I'd say it's better than Pho 54, which was my go-to up here, but I don't feel the bowls are as big for the price, hence 4 stars. I'm glad to have a decent pho house nearby!! read more

When you walk in they have a huge menu screen on the wall plus they will give you a laminated menu to hold and look at. They also have pictures of some of the dishes next to the register. As a filet mignon lover I naturally went for the "pho-let". I also ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. I was given a number and found a seat along the wall featuring all the planets. Everywhere you look is something fun and quirky. Even the drink dispenser is only black and white! It was cool to see the well known drink logos in b&w. I also really loved the bowl of pho and drink characters holding hands throughout the place. After a short time the egg rolls arrived at the table with a glistening cheesy sauce on the side. The crunch was amazing and the meat inside was quality! Nicely chopped with a great chew. The sauce had the peppers in it and had a kick of spice as well. Awesome snack! Then the pho arrived and it was glorious! A generous serving of filet lay across the top and the server asks you how's you like it cooked and then pours the broth over top accordingly. I couldn't stop watching as the steaming broth filled the bowl. Perfect for a gloomy day. The first bite was everything I expected and more! Tender filet, perfect noodles, all the accouterments and that broth that was seasoned to perfection. Multiple times my table was checked on and the server even brought out extra goodies like sprouts, basil and limes. I was so content. I couldn't finish the ginormous serving so I grabbed a to go bowl conveniently located near the drink dispenser. I will definitely be back and I will be telling and bringing everyone I know. We tried two different broths - the beef pho broth, and the red curry broth. Both broths were SO good. Super flavorful, with portions insanely huge too. The meat was nicely thinly sliced and fresh too. I love that you can choose the noodle type you want, because I love udon noodles and the hubby loves ramen noodles, so we both got to customize to our own liking. Overall we loved the vibe of the place, but more importantly, loved the food! We'll be back for sure.

I do not know why the person who wrote the bad review on 11/22/18 of Pho Bistro wrote such a horrible, and incorrect, review. I am married to a Vietnamese lady, and we were visiting relatives in Oklahoma City, which has a large Vietnamese population. My wife's family suggested that we try Pho Bistro, which is located in a small strip mall across from a chain grocery store in north Oklahoma City, and Edmond, around the corner from Santa Fe High School. At first, I was somewhat reluctant, because, usually, we would go to the Vietnamese restaurants in the Asian District to eat Vietnamese food out (my wife, obviously, did not want to cook while away). Although the menu was very varied for a so-called "pho" house, I decided to eat a large bowl of pho, figuring that, if they screwed it up, I'd never be back. Well, guess what? Next to my wife's, it is the best pho I have ever eaten: and, remember, I get the real thing from a real Vietnamese lady at home! The service was attentive and quick, the owners were nice and courteous, and the place was absolutely spotless. Next time I go back, I'll try some more of my favorites, like com thit nuong and other stuff.
