Beef Pho & Pho without any meat
Venita W.

A great place for Pho noodles & this time I tried the pork vermicelli & it was great too. We got there at 11:30 so we got our food fast. Inside is spacious & nicely decorated.

I love how this Pho spot is only 20 minutes from Guthrie. The broth is delicious and needs no additional add ons. Place is always clean, fair price and good choices As a bonus, there is a bakery next door to eat desserts when you are done with your meal. I would highly recommend this location, plus it's never super crowded.

Absolutely my new favorite place. I ordered wonton noodle soup to go and they separated the ingredients from the broth, which is awesome because I can't eat it all in one sitting and if it was packed together it'd get soggy. On top of that it's a good size for price and it is sooo delicious!

Stopped by here on the way home, and we were so glad we did! They just opened so there was only another couple at the restaurant. I had the Filet Mignon Pho which was a hot, steaming bowl of deliciousness! Chris had the Spicy Beef Pho. I didn't try it because spicy soup isn't for me, but judging from the empty bowl, I'm pretty sure it was just as good if not better than mine. We also had egg rolls and they are as flavorful as I expected them to be!

Sauce bar. Hot sauces, and fish sauces and jalapeño slices.

Had to make a trip to Edmond so took the opportunity to try a Vietnamese restaurant not far from our final destination. We love vermicelli bowls so we both ordered the Saigon special which includes an egg roll. I got the chicken and Wayne got the pork. My delight, however, was in discovering they have a complete sauce bar to the right of the order area! They have four kinds of red sauce, jalapeños, and several different fish oils! I have never been in a Vietnamese restaurant or any Asian restaurant that had a sauce bar! The vermicelli bowls were delicious. I put just a little of their hottest sauce in a tiny dish and added it to my bowl. It added just enough heat. That salsa bar is the reason this place will be my go to in Edmond for Vietnamese food.

The egg rolls were PHENOMENAL.

A small venue that offers BIG flavors. The service was quick, and our server was kind. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Saigon Combo Vermicelli bowls, Filet Mignon Pho, and some spring rolls on the side.

This is our go to. We get crab Rangoon and edamame. Spicy filet is my favorite, the broth makes my soul happy.

The Pho my wife and I had was excellent. Service was great and prices run a little cheaper depending on which menu choices you choose.

Coming from Cali, the beef pho is actually legit and flavorful. Chili oil is also very good, mild, and flavorful.

Noodleology - Sesame sauce noodles

Noodleology

Quite a nice little hidden gem with mom & pop vibes…read more We ordered both types of dumplings, steamed and fried. I was hoping that the fried ones would be panfried on one side, not totally fried, but they were more on the fast foody "fried" side. The steamed ones were delicious. I had the Dan Dan noodles which were excellent and very satisfying. Normally I have to put extra sauce on noodle dishes to give it more flavor, but these were sufficiently tasty. My dad got the braised beef noodle, which was very light compared to other places, which is both a good and a bad thing. It was significantly less greasy, but also significantly less "explode your face" vibes. So depending on what type of braised beef noodle you prefer, you may or may not like this version. The chili oil potatoes were super addicting. I'd order them again. All in all, the place is very solid and worth a visit. I plan to come back and try the curry.

I was very excited about this spot as someone who has found it challenging to find good Chinese…read morenoodles in OKC, but I'm sad to say the food was disappointing. For a restaurant that specializes the noodles, these were lackluster in texture and flavor. The interior was quite modern and clean which was nice, and the servers were super kind and quick to help. The atmosphere was definitely something I enjoyed! The noodles, the crux of the restaurant, were overcooked without much bite. They are supposedly fresh-made and hand pulled, but they didn't quite have that look from my experience with other hand-pulled noodles. Spicy chili beef: the sauce was alright, but tasted a bit musty and old. Additionally the beef was overcooked and a bit tough to the bite. Braised beef noodle soup: the soup was good, but the flavor didn't translate to the noodles. However the beef was tender and yummy! Oil pour noodles: the wide noodles were not much better in texture than the hand pulled. These were quite lacking in flavor. Sesame sauce noodles: probably the best tasting bowl, as the sauce clung to the noodles better than the other dishes. However the noodles still didn't live up to my expectations. Overall, this was a place I was happy to support because it is a local Chinese-owned business but the food simply doesn't meet the standard that other restaurants in OKC have set. With some improvement, Noodleology could certainly become a noodle staple in the future!

I've been meaning to try this place and finally had the chance to stop by. Staff were friendly, but…read morethe ordering system wasn't clearly explained--you order first at the counter and then go back to pay after eating, which felt a bit slow, especially with lots of takeout orders. I ordered the bún riêu (crab noodle soup). Portion size was good with plenty of toppings, but the broth was bland and lacked depth. The grilled pork bánh mì was flavorful but could've used more meat. Pork egg rolls were decent. Overall, glad I tried it, but I wasn't very impressed. Might've ordered the wrong dish.

Cafe Ti Bo is a Vietnamese restaurant in Edmond, OK that serves a variety of Vietnamese dishes. You…read morehave the traditional appetizers, vermicelli, egg noodle, glass noodle, rice platters, pho, and Vietnamese baguettes. I would recommend to come here for their special dishes such as Bun Cha Ha Noi, Bún Đậu mắm tôm, bún riêu, bánh khot, and bánh cuốn. Bún Chả and Bún Đậu are traditional northern Vietnamese dishes which usually come with grilled meats, vermicelli, vegetables and served with fish sauce. In Bun Cha, use lettuce to wrap these ingredients together whereas Bun Dau typically comes with wraps. I tried the Bun Cha and it was great. The mints at Cafe Ti Bo were super fresh. Bun rieu and bánh cuốn are more readily consumed dishes, no wrap or additional work needed. Bánh khot is like mini "bánh xèo" so if you like bánh xèo then this dish is a good alternative. The prices of these dishes are quite fair, $13-14, with good portion size. The kumquat and coconut juice was good but it did have a distinctive smell of pickled kumquat. The "che ba màu" which was their only dessert was excellent. With so many dishes left to try, Cafe Ti Bo is on my return list.

You're in the middle of the week just finishing up one customer visit on the heels of another with a lot to do in between. I normally adventurous wanting to venture out and try a restaurant the night just calls for staying in the room and ordering something in. Today was one of those days for me. I ordered delivery. The last time I was in Oklahoma City was in 1999 passing through on the way to Fort Worth, Texas for a Habitat for Humanity trip. So I don't have a lot of experience with the local dining culture. A quick read of a few sites said that aside from barbecue Asian food was a stand out in the area. So I looked for a good Chinese place and saw one with braised pork belly which caught my attention. I heard that with a hot and sour soup, which is one of my favorite soups when it's done right. Today it wasn't done right. It was just really bland. I normally like it spice here and to be honest it just didn't have a lot of flavor all around. I ordered some cream cheese wontons because, why not? They were OK. They were fried well and despite being delivered, were still crispy And the cream cheese inside of it was good, it would've just been nice to have a little bit more filling. I was really looking forward to the braised pork belly. The portion was ample and the sauce had a nice aroma to it. The pork itself was rather bland also. The preserved vegetables that came along with it had a nice Taste to them, but it didn't add much to the dish overall. All in all, the meal was so so. I wouldn't order from the place again and looking forward to my next eating adventure here tomorrow evening.
