I ordered some pho to go, but I was a little disappointed that they only do the large size phos to go. Also, it didn't really come with a bowl to mix everything in so I did have to go buy a bowl because I'm just visiting this area and staying in a hotel lol. My to-go order was ready in about 5-10 minutes which is great! The pho itself was great! Upon arrival I was seated with maximum efficiency and my order was taken with urgency. I decided to go for the go to Pho Dac Biet and I was not disappointed. I've been going there for several years as it was the best pho anywhere. However, our experience today was tragic. As we entered the server came to deliver the menus. I had to request that she clean the table before we sat down. She took our drink orders then commenced to push a cleaning cart around the dining room and clean the rest of the tables. When she came back our way, I told her that we were ready to order. Her response was: Give me a minute. Then continued cleaning tables. So, we had to wait on housekeeping before we could order. I had remind them after were got our food that we never received our drinks.My wife ordered her usual pho. She said to me later that it was sub-par. When paying at the checkout counter there is a pad with options for a tip. 18%,,, 20%... or 22% and no tip. Not a 10% or 15% option at all. I chose no tip. What can I say, this is some of the best pho broth in town. Tbh my favorite place closed during the start of Covid, so I'm glad this place is still around. The size regular is gigantic, so I usually end up getting a small bowl and it's perfect. Their meat is tender and you actually get a lot of sliced meat in your pho! The summer rolls are delusion and taste fresh. They are rolled nice and tight so there's not much fall-out when dipping. I always get a Thai tea when getting pho and the Thai tea here is great. I just moved here from Stillwater and was so jazzed to find out there was a pho spot so close to home. I love that this place had an option for a small or large size! The small portion was just right. They bring out lime, basil, bean sprouts, and jalapeño. There is already hoisin and sriracha on the table, as well as a few other sauces. Broth was flavorful and salted just right. Onions were cut nice and thin. Noodles were cooked perfectly, not gummy at all. The portion of meat they give is fantastic, and I can't remember the last time I got such a massive amount of tripe in my pho. Spring rolls were good, maybe a little dry but the sauce that came with them made up for it. My food came out really quickly, maybe 5-10 mins, and it was relatively busy while I was there. The feel of the restaurant was really cute, not very big, and comforting. I think in total I paid $15 (including a drink while there and I also received a to-go drink). Here is an underrated little strip mall gem in Midwest City. I had their Vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and egg roll..It was very good! Noodles were cooked perfectly, with just the right portion of each topping, with plenty of tender, chopped strips of grilled pork and a delicious, freshly made Vietnamese egg roll. I usually prefer the egg roll sliced up so I can mixed it in, but I enjoyed it well enough whole and dipped in their perfectly balanced sweet to tangy fish sauce. And not too heavy on salad lettuce filler like other places around OKC do it. One meal was big enough to split, and so we did. The folks working here were as friendly as could be. They had a Christmas tree brightening up their simple dining room and Fox News on the TV (so my hubby was happy). Serving the best vermicelli bowl I've had in the metro so far, I'm very much looking forward to trying more of their menu next time I'm down this way. I'm leaning toward 4.5 stars. read more

The problem I have is this: I ordered chicken, they brought out what I thought was pork by the look of it. I asked the girl who brought it out if it was chicken, she said "yes, chicken." For some reason, I took what she said as true and started eating. I was so hungry I ignored my better judgment and ate the whole dish. Only after I finished did the girl come back to tell me it was actually pork and she had put the order in wrong. No effort was made to comp the dish or try to make it better. The beef broth has depth and distinctive flavors. Also, they give you lots of noodles. The selection of meats were good cuts. My uncle got the bun bo hue and that can use some improvements. I got to try a bit of it. The broth was flavorful, but it was too salty and was missing pork blood, which they told us beforehand. Also, they used vermicelli noodles instead of the thick rice noodles. Service was quick and our server was friendly and accommodating.
