Today hubby and I are meeting up with friends and this is the spot. I'm excited because I love, love Mexican food! Waterloo road is alittle far too me but worth it today for the fellowship with friends. I arrive and the parking situation is quaint (small). I parked so that I wouldn't block anybody in but if they are busy.. be prepared! Once you walk up to the restaurant it's a nice outdoor area to sit and eat. Upon entering the establishment the energy is upbeat and crowed. Again it's a small establishment so it's crowded . I stood in line and was greeted by the nicest cashier. She was patient and personal and answered all my menu questions and I didn't feel rushed. We got our drinks (water) but I think you could have ordered beer or soft drinks! Once we sat down my husband received his food first and mine came later.. alittle later. But it was hot and fresh which I appreciate! Because of the size of the business they don't have comp chips and salsa. I can't say the food was bad but it wasn't my best option for Mexican food. It's a great neighborhood hang out but I wouldn't drive that far out just for the food. I admit I'm alittle but if a snob with the Mexican food and have closer places that I recommend. Again if you are ever in the area drop by. It wasn't a bad experience and the cashiers waiters and everyone was so nice.

Was looking for some lunch, found this right next to Watch This Watch Repair & Sales. Order at the counter, then find a seat. They have a cute covered outdoor patio, but I opted for indoor AC. The young woman who took my order made some great recommendations - but I've been wanting Birria for days, and they had a special of Queso Birria, so I ordered it & a Horchata. The Horchata was delicious - almost chocolaty. They had a wide selection of drinks - including beer - both fountain, bottled & canned, as well as agua fresca. Served with aplomb, the food was really good. It was certainly what I needed! Flavorful & cooked just right. Tried their hot sauces & salsa and liked those, too. A really quaint little space. Pretty busy (though I was the gringo there), and I highly recommend! addition: while waiting for my Uber, I got a Modelo Especial draft - fully dressed with lime & tajin - cold & frosty in a glass. Delicious!

I had the torta with chicken. Everything tasted very fresh and was very flavorful! The building is rather small but there's plenty of seating for lunch. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. My only complaint was chips and salsa cost extra and the side of potatoes with the torta were a very small portion; like maybe a quarter of a potato. I'd definitely go back and try other dishes if I'm ever back in the area.

This small little Mexican restaurant got me excited because it looked like it had a lot of potential to be legit. I wasn't that impressed with my tacos. They weren't bad, just not as authentic as I was expecting. My chicken and beef were ground chicken and ground beef which is fine but not much flavor.

Really enjoyed my experience at Little Knights! It's a small, family owned Mexican restaurant in Edmond. The restaurant is small and probably not the best for larger groups, but definitely plenty of tables for 4 with patio seating available as well. There was a good variety of menu items and the prices were reasonable. We ordered the enchiladas plate, super burrito, and guacamole. Chips, salsa, and queso came with our meal and were delicious! The super burrito stood out- it was great value with good flavor, and it features a quesadilla wrap, so there was cheese in every bite! The enchiladas were flavorful, and the chicken and beef were my favorite (you can try different fillings in one order). The service was fast and they were attentive and friendly. Overall, I was impressed by Little Knights and would definitely return if I was in the area!

The food here is delicious and this is where we go when we want flavorful food!! Breanna is always cheerful and sweet and the employees are always nice when we place carry out orders. Food always comes out fast, too for a sit down restaurant. FYI-The business hours on yelp aren't correct - they close at 7pm! Found out last night after we had ordered and I was trying to figure out if they closed at 8 or 9 on Fridays. (We had no clue and ordered at 7:20ish...I was surprised they let us order and were so nice about it!)

Here is another street taco review. WOW, they are cooking with some serious flavor here. Chicken taco was my favorite. A unique preparation overflowing with nicely seasoned diced, pan-seared country potatoes and the grilled onions I requested. The flavor of it all together just rocked my world! Asada taco was also excellent, beef chopped extra fine, flavor very beefy with just the right seasoning and amount of oil. Tacos are $2.15 each, come with two average-sized tortillas, filled with a good amount of meat. Two word's that come to mind while eating them: satisfying, craveable. The restaurant itself is cute and rustic, very small, with a fun little patio. Bathroom was clean but teeny tiny. The two young ladies serving were super friendly. Sure, it's way out here in the boonies, but I think it's worth the drive. I love this little place! I cannot wait to sit down and try more.

    Ranchero Burrito with Al Pastor
    Matt D.

SOLID Mexican restaurant! Originally from NM I've accepted the fact that NM Mexican food is just in a class of its own. However, this place is legit! I had the Ranchero Burrito with Al Pastor as the meat. It was the recommendation of the hostess who was also the only waitress and ROCKED on providing excellent service! Inside is a small cozy atmosphere with the smells of all things delicious! They also have a really nice patio. I will be back many many times! Only downside was the chips and queso, it's the normal recipe for this region so it's par for the course. LOVED this lunch!

What a great little gem this place is! Simple food selection but love the fact that they serve breakfast all day! A couple of things to note: There is no table service You must purchase chips and salsa The food was fresh tasting and flavorful. The service was kind and quick. We will for go back to try other things.

A teeny tiny little spot that is as special as they come. Delicious food. Wonderful people. @ the corner of Waterloo & Covell. Feb 2019

Such a wonderful tiny little spot! Food was fresh & flavorful. The service was excellent. Perfect Tuesday evening date spot. I'll be back soon! I ordered the torta with al pastor. Al pastor is like a kebab style pork. A torta is like a Mexican sub sandwich. It has meat, cheese and all the veggie fixins'. Their sub sandwich style bread was stellar. The magic doesn't stop there. My fries were hot & tasty; it all went down perfectly with a bottle of Mexican Coke. I plan to have that again sometime soon-boy, was it delicious! My dining partner had the taco platter--really delicious. I sampled all three tacos. The chorizo, a pork sausage taco, was unanimously the table favorite (though the others were good too). The taco platter is served with a small piece of corn on the cob, fried potatoes & onions, and a veggie style rice-very much the way mom would serve it at home. The decor is homey, modest, and spotlessly clean. The spot isn't very big, around 10 tables inside, maybe, and a handful of picnic style tables in a covered patio area outside. It was my first time here, but I heard several folks greeted by name and making small talk with the young man taking orders. I observed to-go orders processed in a reasonable amount of time. I left absolutely delighted by our experience. And to top it all off, we had dinner for around $20 for two of us. I suspect this spot is Gutherie/North Edmond's best kept secret. TIP: This is a great dinner spot before going to see a movie at the theatre that's just opened about a 5-10 minute drive south of here where tickets are $5 on Tuesdays.

Great food. Usually a good place for a meal. But…read more.. Was very very loud last time we went. Like a nightclub. It's usually quite to normal volume Mexican music like any normal Mexican restaurant but last time was like someone multiplied the noise level by a factor of 10 or more. But we had a very loud noisy experience our last time that really ruined the last experience... And when we politely asked if they could lower the music the lady couldn't speak English so we just had to sit there and take it, essentially eating in silence bc it was so loud we couldn't hear anyone even right next to us. This was on their 10 or 25 anniversary or something but really ruined our meal & make us wonder why they would celebrate by ruining all their customers meals that day. Management should rethink stuff like that. I guess it might be fun for the employees to blast music as loud as a nightclub and dance instead of doing their jobs but it's not very fun for the customers who can't get much service and can't talk to each other while they're eating. This whole experience made the people I was with never want to go there again, even though I tried to say that this was probably a one time thing and that the food is really good, but yeah, my friends & family will sadly not be back. Plus I would think they would at least hire staff that can at least speak basic English. I can understand not knowing big works but not knowing basic English like: 1st attempt by my shy friend: "ma'am can you please turn down the volume a little bit? Bc we can't hear anyone at our table at it's giving my mom a headache." 2nd attempt by me: "IT'S TOO LOUD!" But no... the Lady responded both times with a "my hair pretty? Thanks" I was truly mind blown. Truly a horrible experience to spend money on. We can't afford to go eat often so it sucks when we end up wasting our money on a wasted experience like this when we could've had a better experience at home for less. Truly a letdown.

We showed up right at opening and were seated immediately -- always a great start. Elli, our server, was fantastic from the jump. Drinks came out fast and we were quickly set up with fresh chips and salsa. My wife thought the salsa could use a pinch more salt (totally personal preference), but the chips were good and addictive. We ordered the tableside Guacamole Mexicano, and that alone is worth the visit. Made fresh and packed with flavor. Pro tip: ask for everything that comes with it, and if you're feeling adventurous, add a squeeze of orange along with the lime -- it takes it over the top. Trust me on this one. I went with the lunch fajitas, served on a sizzling skillet just the way they should be. Plenty of fixings -- lettuce, pico, sour cream, rice and beans. (Next time I'll swap the refried beans -- just not my thing.) Great flavor and generous portion. My wife had the ground beef enchilada and thoroughly enjoyed it -- clean plate club. And of course... we couldn't leave without dessert. The Churros were an absolute winner. Crispy outside, soft inside, sweet and perfect for sharing. Honestly, we're just wondering why it took us so long to try this place. Great service, fresh food, and a relaxed vibe. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend giving Agave Azul a shot!

I'll admit I was a little unsure when I saw queso wasn't complimentary, because sometimes when you pay for it, it's not that great, can tell it's made with velveeta. But we ordered the large anyway and it was actually really good. The salsa was just right too, not too mild but not overly spicy. I ordered the enchilada platter and wasn't sure how I'd feel about the red sauce, so I also got a beef chimichanga on the side just in case I did not like the red sauce. Both were really good, and the chimichanga was way bigger than I expected, honestly a full meal by itself. My daughter got the Cowboy Quesadilla and said it was the best one she's had in a while.
