I've never been here before but we always passed by every time we go to Edmond. Today, we thought of giving this place a try. The place is huge and you can sit yourself anywhere. A waiter came to give us a menu and took our drink orders. At noon, the place had a lot of patrons but not crowded. From the time we ordered and gotten our order, it probably took 8 to 10 minutes. Th chicken was as very tasty with crunchy skin and hock I love! The baked beans I ordered as a side had a little kick to it because of the jalapeños but not enough to put a fire in my mouth. Love the flavor! My husband's chicken sandwich he ordered was huge! He chose a side of fries to go with that. He asked for cheese on it but the waiter said they don't have any cheese but condiments or lettuce and tomatoes if he wanted. Overall, we had a great experience, love the food so we will be back again. Pl try of parking and right across the famous round red barn in Arcadia on Route 66.

Our server was an absolute sweetheart, clearly part of the family, and so proud to help take our order. She was polite, attentive, and made the whole experience feel personal and genuine. The burgers themselves were outstanding. They were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly to order. You could tell everything was made with care, not mass-produced. The fries were crispy and hot, and the portions were generous. Best part? The prices were incredibly fair for the quality you get. No corners cut, no hidden fees, just honest food at honest prices. This is the kind of place you root for...a real family business doing it right. We'll definitely be back, and we're already telling our friends. Support local when you can, and this spot is a perfect example of why it's worth it!

Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef - Edmond, OK…read more In my ongoing hunt for solid comfort food around Edmond, I decided to give Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef a try--and this one is definitely worth a visit. It's a relatively small spot on 2nd Street, but don't let the size fool you. This place delivers big where it matters: hot, made-to-order food and friendly service that makes you feel welcome right away. I walked in fully intending to go with a classic burger... but sometimes you've got to listen to the people. On their way out, a couple told us it was their first visit too and highly recommended the French Dip and the daily special. That was all I needed--I made the audible. What We Ordered: * French Dip with au jus and fries * Chili Cheeseburger with fries The Food: The French Dip was the star for me--tender beef, plenty of melted cheese, and that au jus brought it all together. Solid, no-frills comfort food done right. The chili cheeseburger was messy (in a good way) and packed with flavor. Fries were crispy and did their job. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how you want it. The Vibe: Casual, laid-back, and exactly what you'd expect from a local comfort food joint. Nothing fancy--but that's not why you're here. Service: Very friendly across the board. You can tell they care about the experience, and that goes a long way. Final Thoughts: This is one of those places where you already know you'll be back before you leave. Next visit, I'm going all-in on the burger lineup--and after seeing that dessert case, I may need to save room. If you're in Edmond and craving comfort food, put this one on your list.

Additionally, they have been very inconsistent on the amount of selected items they add to your order. We also had a physical coupon that clearly stated "Free Chips & Queso with an Entree." Since we had already purchased two entrees, we brought the coupon inside to redeem it. The manager refused to honor it, claiming we "didn't have an entree" because we hadn't gone through the line in person. We explained that we had already purchased two entrees and showed proof of our order. He then changed his explanation and said the coupon only worked if you purchased an entree while going through the line. The problem is that nowhere on the coupon does it state that online orders are excluded or that the entree must be purchased in person. If there are additional restrictions, they should be printed on the coupon instead of being made up at the register. It wasn't about the value of the chips and queso. It was about honoring a promotion as it is written and treating customers fairly. The interaction came across as dismissive, and as the manager, I expected him to either honor the clearly worded coupon or politely explain an official policy. Instead, we left feeling like the rules were being invented on the spot. We enjoy Qdoba's food, but experiences like this make us think twice about coming back.

My young child who does not like their food makes definitely would also rate their macaroni as one of the top. We had not received our food yet, it was just my 4yo son and I and I was holding him the whole time while he was sleeping and I went up to fill our cups. While I was in line to get our drinks an EMPLOYEE grabbed my purse and order number from the table so another couple could sit there. I had no one else to get our drinks for us and I was holding my sleeping son. This was very messed up and almost brought me to tears. I had to go and speak up and ask that I get the table back as there was no where else for me to sit and I didn't think I could carry our food and my son back to where we parked in a nearby parking lot since their small one was full. Very embarrassing and sad experience as I ate my food with tears in my eyes. It's not easy always doing stuff on your own with no help and these employees made it much harder.

Gage, our waiter was very professional and helpful. He guided us through the menu and helped us make good choices. We started with three mule cocktails. We had the Oaxacan, the Moscow and Kentucky Mules. Everyone enjoyed the cocktails. One thing that stood out to me for my Oaxacan Mule is that the Mezcal's smoky flavor really shown through and it was not overly sweet. A very clean cocktail, which I highly appreciate! We ordered the Chef's Salad Wrap with Onion Rings, French Dip with the tomato soup, and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with seasonal side of grits. I enjoyed the Chef's Salad Wrap but I would probably be a little more bold next time and get the Cortez or the Reuben. I craved a lighter choice and was more sinful with the over the top delicious onion rings! Wowowow! Hubby enjoyed his soup and French dip and son enjoy his Philly cheesesteak and grits. I would definitely love to revisit and try more of their items.
