Came during the wee morning hours after they first opened with the family where you seat yourself. Meals are cheap makes it great for everyone. Coffee was a bit weak and watery. First time ever trying jimmys egg with my fiancé: phenomenal. Being a breakfast fanatic, I can say that this place is great. I'm not sure how they operate normally(COVID-19 proofed), however this was my first time sitting in a restaurant since March. They had paper menus and you have to as for the condiments that you would like because they are not on the table. They have also closed off every other table for social distancing. The iced coffee was 100% different from my regular iced americano from Starbucks. It is not overwhelmingly sweet nor too strong. The whipped cream was a nice touch. The picture doesn't do the omelet any justice. It was so full and cheesy. It was the right amount, would 10/10 recommend if you're a fan of omelets. I chose hash browns and flour tortillas as a side. The tortillas were very different, but good. I didn't try much of my fiancé's foods this time, however he loved the eggs (well done), but wasn't a big fan of the hash browns. I'm completely disappointed with our visit today on Father's Day. We were waiting 75 minutes for our food, only to receive our daughters food, which was COLD. We didn't receive any other food for 15 minutes, so we left. Our server was new, which I don't blame her, but she wasn't being consistent with us or our food. She kept going to the back and rarely checked on our order. A couple that arrived 30 minutes after us received their food before us. Who serves COLD eggs and bacon? I ordered the classic egg Benedict and my eggs were pretty much almost sunny side up and not poached. My side of hash browns were literally raw and unseasoned. The worse restaurant I've been to in my years of life! Walked in with my family of 5 and was seated immediately. 15 minutes later nobody came and asked us for drinks. I get it every waitress has their booths or table but I've seen this waitress check on another table and gave them their bill and once she was done she turned around and sat down at the next booth with a gentleman and opened her phone. We traveled to Killeen during Snowvid-21 for my husband's birthday. We were lucky to find a place to eat since most places had lost power or their employees couldn't make it in due to horrible road conditions. Being from Ohio, this was a typical winter day for us. The employees were so kind and helpful. You wouldn't have even known the storm of the century was outside. I asked about the corned beef hash since the menu said it was homemade. I was assured that they make it fresh and shred the beef daily. I ordered it with my breakfast. Wowowow! That was delicious. I'd had it last at a little joint in Sausalito, Ca but it wasn't nearly as good as Jimmy's. The whole meal was amazing but the corned beef hash was the star for me. We went back before heading back to Ohio but because of water rationing after the storm, they were closed. You can't imagine my heartbreak. We will be back in Killeen this year and I bet you can't guess where I'm having breakfast. If you're in the neighborhood, you'll love this place. On a side note, the biscuit and gravy was delicious, the grits were perfectly cooked, my eggs were exactly how I like them and the bacon was thick cut and delicious. read more

Jimmy's Eggs in Killeen is pretty new to the area. It's easy to find and enough parking lots are available. The building itself looks nice and also when you step inside, it looks very promising. Nice, friendly colors and looks clean. We were there yesterday as a group of about 15 people. Some came earlier, some later. I ordered a breakfast combo, ham omelette with hash browns & fruit and a hot chocolate. To the food itself; it was ok. Average. But the hot chocolate? Beware of that! Its incredible sweet. I'm a sweet tooth let me tell you. But this hot chocolate was way beyond drinkable. After I talked to the server, and told her that it's very very sweet. Too sweet. She just said: " well, sweet is good, right ?!" And walked away. Next thing, some people of our group came 10 min later. No big deal right? Well obviously it was for the server. She said with a cocky voice they have to wait with ordering until everybody else on the table has their food. That meant at the end, they still didn't had their food, even when the others were already finished with everything. Others received a kids orange juice instead of a regular size... it just kept going worse. No tissues in the bathroom.... and so on. 0 points for customer service. We were a party of 4 adults a teenager and two young kids. There was no wait on a holiday Monday. The food choices were incredible. It was hard to choose. Kiddos had pancakes and waffles and loved them. The adults had chorizo breakfast tacos, eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy, omelette, and a sandwich recommended by the order taker. Everything was delicious. The coffee was flowing. The person taking our order was so attentive and kind. The fruit for one of the little ones seemed very fresh. Even my cinnamon roll pancakes tasted and looked like microwaveable pancakes. The pancakes are not fluffy. My daughter ordered the Reeses pancakes. She didn't like the crumbles on top. She said, "mom I like yours better because you put the Reeses in the middle". The crumbles on top is just lazy. My receipt was not itemized, I don't like just seeing a total. my husband and i went here hoping to find a new breakfast spot, unfortunately that wasn't the case. This restaurant is nothing we had hoped it would be. The servers are very pushy and always running around while not bothering to see if you need anything while you wait or even after you receive your food. We waited 55 minutes to be seated(didn't mind) but while we were waiting we were watching how each server spoke to the customers they were serving. Rude and making you rush to say what you needed to say before they cut you off to go to the next table for the same thing. Once seated we ordered hoping for better. Our food was TASTELESS. Found this little gem by searching for breakfast places. So glad that we did. We got seated right away and the service was great. Food and service came quickly. The portions are large and very tasty. You can order the cinnamon roll as a side item for $1.49 more. But portions were so large we couldnt eat it and had to take to go. Coffee was really good as well and I am very picky about coffee. Most of the entrees come with your choice of side dishes. You can choose from things like hash browns, biscuits and gravy, toast, meats, pancakes, fresh fruit, etc. We ordered the meat lovers skillet with biscuits and gravy and the classic breakfast with home fries and fresh fruit. The skillet itself was great but the Monterey Jack cheese on top was a no go. I think cheddar would have been better. The Monterey Jack just solidified way to fast. We went her for breakfast on a Saturday about 11 a.m. We ordered our drinks and our food. One person ordered sunny side up eggs and received scrambled. As that was being replaced our grand daughter (20 yrs old) found a long black hair in her Farmer's Skillet. It was replaced but she wasn't in the mood to eat after that so she took it home. The manager never came over until I asked the waitress to ask the manager to come over as we were ready to go. She didn't seem to worried about it since the cooks were told of the hair in the food. They gave no discount for the food as it was remade (with no hair). We will not be in a hurry to return as there are other options for us to go to. Very poor customer service.
