The Place was Very clean! I enjoyed the conversation with the staff while waiting for Our Meals . We ordered 6 pc chicken with Strawberry Cheesecake Waffle. A 3 pc chicken with an Apple Crunch Waffle, and 2 pc chicken with a half Strawberry cheesecake waffle (which is an Option.. to get half ) I believe we spent $40 !! Oh and 1 Sausage Ala Cart. I'm not going to lie--their food is really good, and I used to go there all the time. But after a couple of experiences, I don't think I'll be coming back anymore. One morning, I went to pick up three "The Works" breakfast sandwiches and specifically told the woman at the window, "No cheese on any of the sandwiches." When I got them, one had cheese and only two were made correctly. I asked if they could remake the one with cheese because I don't eat cheese. She went inside, and then who I believe was the female owner came out and was very confrontational about it--almost as if I was wrong for asking for my order to be made the way I requested. They refused to fix it, and I ended up having to peel the melted cheese off myself. Another issue I've had is with their phone orders. They say they take phone orders, and the only reason I tried using that option is because the food can take a long time to come out. I was told I could place a phone order and pay when I arrived so it would be faster. But then I was told they wouldn't even start making the food until I got there--which completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. On top of that, they tried to make me pay over the phone by giving them my full card information, which felt unsafe and suspicious. Because of that, I decided not to go at all. Between the poor customer service and the confusing, unsafe ordering process, it just doesn't feel worth it anymore. read more

This is really a hidden gem! They offer a variety of waffles but I cannot seem to order anything other that the original waffle and chicken. The chicken is always fried and seasoned perfectly and the waffle... oh my God!! Seems to always be cooked with love. I'm pretty sure the other waffles are just as good but you can never go wrong with the original. Also, don't forget to grab a cup of Kool aid, takes me back to my younger days. We calculated our price should have been around $23.00 based on their pricing available online and decided we could afford to give it a shot. For what we ordered and it ended up being over $48. When we called to ask about the discrepancy the staff was nice, but basically told us the only current menu they have is in store and we were going by old pricing. We decided we were hungry and had spent all that time ordering, maybe we would be pleasantly surprised and it would be mind blowing food. It was not. It was not bad food, but it was probably worth about the $23 we calculated it should have cost. That's if they Had they included everything we ordered (which they hadn't). I don't appreciate business deception, I don't care how friendly the staff is if they're playing bait and switch with their prices. It's not the consumers responsibility to guess that they tend to charge $35 for every carton of eggs they sell. Dennys and IHOP has better servings of better food for half the price. I had the opportunity to try this business out and they did not miss a beat. The people taking your order are very friendly and helpful especially if this is your first time being there. Right now the inside was closed possibly due to Covid but they offer a drive through. I order the chicken and blueberry waffles. The waffles are huge which is definitely a plus and they offer a variety of flavors for you to choose from. I ordered a Turtle Waffle (Chocolate) and a couple wings. The waffle was good but I'm not sure the chocolate choice added to it... it just tasted like standard flavoring in the waffle batter. Pretty standard waffle, nothing wrong with it but didn't taste that special. But the wings!! The wings were so perfect! Crispy and hot with a good amount of meat on them. I stared at the crispy layer on the wings because I was trying to figure out what made them so special! I don't know what their secret is, but these are some great Southern-style chicken wings. I've only been once, but I will be back. The food was good and at a great price! Initially turned off by it being at a gas station the paper plates. But glad I went anyway. They had waaaay too many options! The menu doesn't really have a flow. I went with what I knew, and got the sweet potato waffles and 2 wings. Both the waffle and wings were good. Not the best I've ever had, but good, especially for the price. Overall it's not a 5 star place. But a great go-to if you want good cheap and quick! read more

Someone told me about this place years ago. Every time I come here the lady that takes my order at the window is always so kind and just a joy to talk to. The menu is simple but yet still so many choices if that makes sense. I've ordered the red velvet stack and it's amazing, but a friend ordered the butter pecan stack and I haven't gone back to the red velvet! I'm sure all the waffles are delicious I'm just too nervous to try other flavors! The bacon is delicious & the chicken is always so amazing!!! I'd like to start off saying, I have typically had great experiences at this establishment--hot and tasty food. However, today was different... after hyping up this restaurant to my parents & siblings while they're here visiting; 6x different meals. When we arrived to the establishment it was semi busy. Prior to the line building up, we sat there and called the restaurant to inform them that we'd arrived. No answer, and no one came to the car. I then went to the door to inform them that I had arrived, and a younger female with glasses saw me at the door and stood there seemingly confused , she didn't come to the door to ask what my name was or what I needed. Cool. So the younger gentleman came to the table where the food was and read the orders, he came to finally open the door and I gave him my name and my sister's name as well. He grabbed the orders and offered to walk them to my car, in which he did! Very appreciative of that! We checked to ensure everything was ordered accurately, it was! No issues there. Fast forward, we finally arrive to my home 30-40 mins later (because we stopped to grab drinks), to eat our breakfast and my mother found a short white hair in her waffle. I immediately called the establishment to address the issue. I didn't want a replacement, because since moving from that area I hardly am on that side of town. I asked for a partial refund for that specific meal (not the entirety of my order) because my mother obviously did not want to finish her meal after seeing that. The woman I initially spoke to, began assisting, however the phone kept breaking up on top of her holding side bar convos with whomever in the background to explain what the current phone call consisted of. She asked me to bring it back up to the establishment and I declined because I had just made it home on the opposite side of town. She then hands the phone off. --Mr. Ben (whom has always been super energetic and happy when I've previously went), grabs the phone to intervene and get an understanding of what was happening. He asked what I wanted to because he was offering to replace the waffle, or refund the waffle. I was also told to send a picture so that they could see what I was referring to. I told him I wanted a refund for the waffle because I didn't want to go back and forth DRIVING, I guess that wasn't received well or maybe he thought I meant "didn't want to go back and forth him", when that wasn't the case. Will never disrespect Mr. Ben nor his establishment. However at this point of the convo, with the tone and everything I'm now becoming irritated ngl. He asked me to confirm the meal order, my name etc I said my name and I told him they have a copy of my receipt. I could've went to my car and grabbed my receipt but I chose not to. Nevertheless, we were both annoyed at this point so he then told me in order for me to be refunded for that I'd have to come sign the receipt Maybe it was an off day but I don't want to chance that experience again. I've only had minor issues before (maybe 2 out of 7 times) when ordering here, and it was all corrected expeditiously and with a positive attitude. With all said, i won't be returning.
