I was curious to see what coffee shops lurked in this part of Texas, as I was not expecting much given how remote this area is, and a lot of the local military population can drink 7-Eleven coffee and be just fine. This place's latte art caught my attention because that is definitely one of the crafts that distinguishes a coffee place, blurring the line between second and third-wave, in my opinion. I decided to give this place a try as it was more promising than anything I could find in the area. They had a good selection of drinks and standard drinks that you would find in any other coffee shop. I was also surprised to see that they also offered pourover options and had very good equipment, similar to the stuff I have at home in order to make it. This really piqued my interest. Unfortunately, the beans they had to make the pourovers or 4 to 6 months old, so I decided not to go with a pourover. Instead, I got a latte, which they actually did a beautiful job in terms of the latte art which told me that they knew how to properly get milk up to the right temperature and know how to layer the drink properly which gave me some hope. The latte was actually pretty good and I would actually come back for it. The people provided good service and were nice and patient . The ambiance was very basic and empty, with a lukewarm cafeteria-like design which made it feel like a first wave and was not pleasant. I'm so surprised I haven't ran into this place sooner. My friend is always I mean ALWAYS talked about this place. The place isn't hard to miss once you're driving. It's quite on the inside unless they are using the blender/mixer. They have multiple tables and also couches to read books that they provided or your own book. I ordered Mint Tea and Rancheros Eggs with come with tostadas that are homemade with beans on top and eggs, side of potatoes and avocado. I also ordered a Smoked Salmon Wraps which comes with Spinach, cucumber and avocado, hummus, and tomato. Don't let this unassuming location fool you. Hidden within a few businesses lurking behind painted glass windows is the cutest little cafe spot in Killeen. It's taken months to find a cup of coffee comparable to what my snobby caffeine palette is used to. I think I've found it with Big Brew Little Brew. The vanilla latte is to die for. I digress. Let's talk about this coffee house first. They offer indoor seating, comfy, cozy and socially distanced in these times. We ordered coffee and food. They offer a breakfast menu but since we are late risers, we missed the eggs and had to order from the lunch menu. It doesn't disappoint! Let's start with the coffee. Vanilla latte, beautifully scripted by the barista, one iced, one hot. Cherry twist smoothie. So pretty you don't even want to drink them. Each one individually crafted with time and care. If you are in a hurry? Go to Starbucks. This cafe spot is meant to be enjoyed with patience. The same goes for the amazing homemade food that comes out of the kitchen. Wow! This place was a random pick. We're new to the area and had just went for a run at the nearby park. The outside makes it look like a small "hole in the wall" but we walked inside and wow. We just chose some basic items we would get anywhere and I was pleasantly surprised. I love mochas, this one was wonderful! And the beautiful foam art made it that much better. Everything's all about first impressions, and this ones top tier. I honestly can't wait to come back. I'm a little bit of a coffee shop freak so after moving here from SC I wanted to find my go-to immediately as soon as I moved to TX. A quick Yelp lookup and a quick drive away, the person that took my order was really friendly and patient with me. You can tell they do things with love. I ordered a $3 burrito which was a pretty decent size, not tiny like the McDonalds ones. And I ordered a Honey Vanilla Latte, not on their menu but man, it hits home. I also love it when coffee shops use their own mugs and plates. Highly recommend. Will come back to explore more of the menu. read more

Tried this place a few times and thought it was ok. Moved away from Killeen and forgot to unfollow. Randomly see a Facebook post from them shaming a customer for leaving a 2 star review. Customer didn't like the drink and asked for a remake. Business says they can buy another one so customer leaves. Business posts the review on their fb page calling out customer. Other customers that were in the establishment at the time of the incident corroborated that the customer was not rude. Small business obviously does not understand customer service and how shaming customers isn't good for business.
