The sandwich was amicable, but again, the sticker-shock is a harsh reminder you'd probably be better served buying some sammich' meat on Sundays and bring your own to school or work. Jimmy John's is hands down my favorite sandwich place, thanks to their freshly baked bread and consistently fresh toppings. I love that their sandwiches don't have an overwhelming amount of bread -- the balance is perfect, allowing the flavors of the toppings to really stand out. In my opinion, they put the ideal ratio of ingredients on each sandwich, but they're also super accommodating if you want more or less of anything. This particular location is by far my favorite, and I've been to almost every Jimmy John's around. The environment is always spotless, the workers are friendly and efficient, and they consistently make my sandwiches perfectly. They create the sandwich in lettuce wrap form, then wrap it extremely tightly in paper that you peel back as you eat, then of course there is also the outer paper wrap. It's a salad, but tricks you into thinking you're eating a sandwich. This location is close to my home, so I can order delivery online and usually have it within 15 minutes. They live up to their "Freaky Fast" motto. Online ordering is simple. I usually get the Vito Unwich, swap out the Italian vinaigrette for Jimmy's mustard and Mayo. And I get "Xtra" of all the veggies and add cucumber and sprouts. All of this is easily customizable online, extra veggies do not come with an extra charge. Due to having two assembly lines and quick workers and maybe other industry secrets, like maybe having pre-made packets for their most popular items, service was BLAZING FAST. I've eaten JJ's before and have always liked the freshness of the flavor of their sandwiches. I like their bread, though I wish there were more choices, and I like their meats. On this occasion, I had the smoked ham and it was really good with an actual smokey flavor that I could taste. The meats seem to be more fresh than Subway's, which seem to be somewhat "factory" fresh rather than deli fresh to me. JJ's meats seem less "chemical" than Subway's to me. Just my impression. I like how I can eat this sub easier because they are narrower than Subway. JJ's are more pricey than Subway, but I don't mind more pricey if I feel the quality matches. They also serve 8" subs rather than 6" subs like Subway. I recommend JJ's for a change of pace. read more

The sandwiches were okay and they have pretty good tuna, but the reason i would ALWAYS order from here was because it was cheap and really fast and so convenient. They are no longer fast or cheap. The sub was quite cold (yes, I know it is a cold sub) like it had been wrapped and sitting in a cooler for quite awhile. The sub tasted old - nothing fresh tasting about it. Not even 30 minutes after eating this sub, I spent the next 3+ hours throwing up in the toilet. Either the turkey, bacon, or mayo was bad or a combination of the three. As a result, I will NEVER eat at or order from any Jimmy John's location in any state. They will not deliver to anyone less than one mile away apparently. I live less than 2 miles from 3 different stores and since my truck's a/c was acting up i decided on delivery. Less than 2 miles and none of them deliver to a nice nearby neighborhood. When called they just say too bad and when asked for a way to contact corporate to see if this issue can be fixed they refuse to give contact info. They are freaky fast as dismissing their customers. Shameful customer service and misleading adds. If you cant deliver in a 2 mile radius you shouldn't advertise as freaky fast delivery because you don't deliver at all. read more

This review is LONG overdue! Some friends and I went into JJs fairly late on a Sunday evening a few weeks ago after having several cocktails. We were helped by Jamie, who was ALSO working the drive thru line, taking everyone's orders, and making sandwiches in light speed time. We were a bit on the loud side and surely obnoxious, but Jamie was so great, even joked around with us a bit, nailed all our orders and got them to us in what might have been less than a minute, honestly. The food here is always delicious- getting great customer service on top of that is what keeps us coming back. I was thoroughly impressed with Jamies ability to be extremely good natured, despite being alone late at night and working the job of three people at once. When I do go in store the people are always super friendly and curtious. The price is a little high, but hey, I will gladly pay for quality. The number six vegetarian sandwich was the worst attempt at a veggie sandwich I've ever had. The bread was stale and bland, the vegetables tasted like they had spent weeks in the refrigerator, and the avocado spread was more of an avocado flavored salad dressing. The thin slices of provolone were not enough to add substance to the sandwich. When I asked the employees if I could have more avocado, they looked baffled. I then asked if I could have a little bit in a separate container, and they said they did not have any containers for that purpose. For the price they could at least add fresh slices of avocado. I went to this location for lunch today. Went through the drive-through and ordered a sandwich, specifying clearly what I wanted on it and specifically asking for no lettuce and tomatoes. Paid and drove home only to find out the sandwich was absolutely loaded with lettuce and tomatoes. Drove all the way back and went through the drive-through again and asked for a refund. The girl at the window gave me attitude and said she'd get a manager. The manager was the guy who had just made my sandwich 10 minutes prior. He gave me even more attitude and told me he couldn't do anything without my receipt which I had left at home. I explained to him that I provided clear details about how I wanted the sandwich. With a raised voice he proceeds to tell me that's just how the sandwiches come. So he told me to go park and come inside and he'd deal with me after he took care of the other customers. I had to put it in park and demand my refund, and he eventually voided the transaction because apparently he is full of shit and was able to pull up the order without the receipt. Terrible location and terrible manager on shift. This is the second time within a month that I've had to make 3 trips back and forth only to end up with a refund for the exact same situation- same "manager" on shift. I originally asked for a #6 sandwich, no mayo. Said I wanted to add some freebies and order was completed as normal. I waited for sandwich and came back to my destination to find literally -extra- mayo on the sandwich. Turned the car back on and headed back to Jimmy John's for trip #2. Explained the situation clearly over the intercom and waited for the remake. I once AGAIN get to my location to take a few bites and realize there was mayo mixed in with the lettuce this time......... I turn around and get to Jimmy John's on trip #3 to once again explain the situation and ask how that could happen again, only to find out by the "manager" that when they're training at this location (or who knows- maybe this is happening all the time to save money), they just put the mixed, used ingredients back in the bins to sell once they practice putting a sandwich together- mayo, oil, vinegar and all- mixed in with your lettuce- so avid participants in cross contaminating your food and did not seem to care about this concern! Might reach out to the health department for this one. Manager on-shift 10/1/2021 around 8:15pm said this is why it happened twice in a row. Look out Sandwich lovers! Another Jimmy Johns store recently opened in the Old Pueblo. This was actually my first time eating after passing JJ's countless times day after day. Its new Campbell location is much more accessible than the others, which is why I gave it a try. Personally, I didn't find much of anything gourmet in my Sub, but they did live up to their slogan of "SUBS SO FAST YOU'LL FREAK." In true American style, I went through the drive-thru, and was definitely "freaked" to receive my sub upon paying! Okay, now down to business. Sub was ok. I ordered the #16 CLUB LULU (JJs original Turkey bacon club with lettuce, tomato and mayo). It's your standard club sub on white hoagie bread. I found the bread was dry and chewy. However, my beloved BF raved about his #12 BEACH CLUB (turkey breast, provolone, avocado spread, cucumber, sprouts, lettuce, tomato mayo), insisting that everything about his sub was fresh, delicious and crisp. I have ultra picky taste buds I guess. I'll give JJ's another shot and next time I'll order something less ordinary. read more

It's fast, it's friendly, and it's unwich. What's an unwich, you say? An unwich is everything that is on a sandwich but without the bread. They wrap it neatly in lettuce leaves and then tightly in paper so you can enjoy it without a mess in your lap (there will still be a little mess, if you are like me, and must spill at least one thing on yourself during each meal). Anyway, I highly, highly recommend it if you are avoiding that old white poison (bread, that is!) Sure, i love a good sandwich, but the unwich is a decent replacement and with all the different combos, you won't get bored. I recommend the Beach Club. Add some red peppers for spice! read more
