This Jimmy Johns. This is the Jimmy Johns I'd order from at 2am during finals week. It's the one we'd go to after a night of partying. It's the one we went to when we only had $10 left to our name. We got one in Lake Mary, FL. It's not the same. At all. First of all, the bread in Tallahassee is proofed for the right amount of time. It's light, fluffy, and just right. They get the toppings right here. You don't get globs of mayo on one half and nothing in the other. They're fast. They deliver late at night. This place is awesome. Beware when you tell the drive-through person you don't want a full-size sub and they offer an alternative. This is what you get. For $15, I got this tiny thing they call a sub, which is about the length of two AirPod cases, plus chips and a drink. It's a total rip off. When I open the bag at my office, I couldn't tell which was the sandwich and which was the pickle.they were about the same size in their rappers. Total scam for this business to push you to a much more profitable finger sandwich making it seem like you're getting something reasonable. I really couldn't believe it. Even this pathetic alternative was. They should tell people. That the smaller version is actually half the size of a child portion. But you don't save any money. read more

I ordered a deliver for someone who is in a rehab facility near this location. The driver called when he arrived unable to get inside. I finally got in touch with someone at the facility (not a place you want to be!) and they buzzed him in. The driver delivered the meal and my brother called later very grateful. I so appreciate the patience, kindness and generosity of the driver! I did add 25% for my tip knowing it may take some time and I hope others will consider tipping a bit more for atypical situations! The last few times I've ordered from this JJ, something has been wrong with my order. On this occasion my sandwich was made incorrectly. It had cucumbers, which I absolutely hate. Moreover, cucumbers aren't apart of the recipe for the sandwich, so I don't get it. And then there this little problem with the protein portion. First, it looks like they've reduced the meat potion and then half of the sandwich had very little meat on it leaving about 1/4 of the sandwich meatless. Seriously guys?? Dear sandwich maker: At what point during this sandwich making process did you say to yourself "Self, let's just leave this part of the sandwich meatless because everyone that orders to Roast Beef sandwich likes for half of it to be a veggie sandwich"? Did you give yourself a hardy back clap too? And why did it take so long to deliver my partially meatless sandwich? I live less than a mile away. What happened to freaky fast? Or just freaky normal delivery times? My guess is that my order was forgotten. I called after 20 mins, to inquire about the delay and was assured my order was on the way. This used to be my favorite Jimmy John's, as the one on Capitol Circle is lacking in cust svc skills and awkwardly situated at the redlight that takes 15 mins to change. However, Appalache Pkwy is just so busy they mess up orders frequently. I ask for dijon mustard and so much is poured on the sandwich it's almost inedible. They've given me the wrong chips several times. And what's the use of having rewards and slowing employees down by having them enter your phone number into the register, when it would be easier to just scan a barcode. 80% of the time they've entered my number wrong and never said anything because for months, my app still says I need to buy 2 more sandwiches even though I've been there a dozen times since. read more

Sooooo today. I placed my usual order "spicy Italian" no onions, light provolone cheese, add Dijon. My sandwich came in it's usual super fast delivery time. But when I opened my sandwich I was disappointed. I called the shop asked for a manager "Andrew" to let him know with annoyance in my voice of the situation. He let me know he will be happy to remake my sandwich himself, but due to other orders it will be about a 20minute or more wait. This a decent chain sub shop. It is likely one of the best chains for cold subs. Although I must admit, I tend to lean towards a hot sub. The bread at Jimmy John's is great. It is one of the most important aspects of a good sub. It is soft and fresh with a good amount of pull on the crust. The meat is average. The customer service is phenomenal and the speed which they work at is unmatched. This is a great place to stop at for a reasonable priced cold sub. They have never let me down and their consistency is as reliable as the sun rising each day. read more

Being a chain, this review relates to my opinion about all Jimmy John's as it is a food based review, not service based. I relocated offices and a different Jimmy John's delivered free 6" sandwiches trying to entice us. I must say the sandwich was quite good. Fast forward to today (9/28/11) and a coworker who owed me lunch was ordering from JJ and asked if I wanted anything. What I got was one of the best fast food cold subs I've ever had. Delicious. Still disappointed they chose (choose?) to highlight that they don't offer two important options for a sandwich eater like me: heated sandwiches and soup. My first visit wasn't good. (1st,) nothing but provalone cheese on any sub. (2nd,) the guy stopped making our 2 sandwiches to make one for a drive thru. I was there first ??? (3rd), the meat was minimal. I eat at Subway and Jersey Mike's sometimes, and without question I got less meat at Jimmy John's. (4th) there's no choice of bread. You get your choice of one bread ! I've been here a couple times and I would rather have it "good" than "fast". I stayed back away from the counter until I knew what I wanted. I ordered a country club. When I think of a club sandwich, I always think "with bacon". The bacon was $2.50 more. The bacon was cold. Refrigerator cold. They were through making my sandwich before I finished ordering it and looked put out when I added oregano, oil and vinegar. It wasn't like I was lingering over my order. $11.55 for a sandwich is a bit much when I can get specials and table service for less. read more

Jimmy Johns subs are made from white bread. They charge 75c more for wheat bread. Jersey Mike and Subway do not charge extra for what bread sub. Stay away until they change their mind. I told the manager and he said he did not care if I went elsewhere. read more

I don't think I ever tried Jimmy John if I had it was through grub hub anyway I thought I try them over Wendy's and subway which were right there and immediately the atmosphere was like I was trespassing on their property, then the girl just walked up to the register and stared at me, no welcome to Jimmy Johns or the usual BS you here I order and she was like your total is what it was and handed me my cup and said it be out on a while, well it took like 2 minutes maybe, the lady that made my sandwich said something to me and just laid my wrapped sandwich on the counter by the register, no bag or ask me if I like napkins or anything like that, and when on her jolly way doing absolutely nothing, these ladies apparently don't like there job or they just hate life because this experience was the worst I ever had beside most McDonalds and Wendy's I've been to, but I do say the sandwich was blah if they didn't blob enough mayonnaise to kill a horse on it, anyway I give 1 star I came in March 31 2019 is was 6:00 pm, owners and/or managers you need to teach customer service to your employees, if you plan to keep this establishment open much longer read more

No complaints about the food. But hate to see that you raised the delivery fee to $3.00. WE are less than a mile from you where you do thousands of dollars in business and that really hurts your employees and tips. So so disappointed. Now it will cost me over $10 for a 5.74 sandwich. read more

I never thought I would post anything negative about Jimmy Johns, but here it is. I ordered a sandwich as an Unwich. This sub is filled appropriately and nicely wrapped in lettuce. I never have to check my order - as I have to do with McDonald's or Burger King. However when I got home to eat my sub, the meat literally fell out the paper wrap because there was barely any lettuce wrapping the meat and toppings. The meat and toppings are less than what I am use to seeing. I opened the paper wrap completely and the sub had lettuce on one-side and it wasn't wrapped. It appeared the lettuce was just placed on paper and the meat and toppings were dropped on it, the paper rolled and shoved in a bag. I called to speak to the manager, and the assistant manager came to the phone - which means nothing will probably be done. He did offer to re-wrap the sandwich in lettuce. All isn't lost however; Subway moved next door from down the road. read more

I love jimmy johns. It's quick and you know what to expect. But today I went to a different location than I normally do and saw their slim menu. Great I am a meat and cheese only type of person. It said no veggies and no sauce. Perfect. I find it annoying to have to tell people nothis no that every time I order. So I asked for the sandwich with Dijon mustard. Nope sorry. No sauces. Mustard is a sauce? Then they said they could give me yellow mustard packets on the side. First, I still want Dijon mustard. Second what's the difference between on it and on the side? On the side probably costs more. Long story short I ordered the regular one and minus everything but Dijon mustard. I like my subs pretty plain but not dry. I get not adding sauces like Italian dressing or whatever and the veggies too but really just mustard is too much to ask? I guess so. It would have been nice to save a little but in all honesty it would have been much nicer to not feel so complicated when I ordered a sandwich. I would probably go there more often if I was able to order the less complicated way. I wouldn't even mind paying a small up charge for adding the mustard. read more

Terrible service from extremely rude and incompetent employees. Ordered a sandwich for delivery from here around 3pm in the afternoon and nevever received my food. They called me after an hour asking where I wanted the order to be delivered to (which was on the online order, and literally right nextdoor to jimmyjohns) When i called to see what happened to my order, they put me on hold for 5 minutes, and took them another 5 minutes or so to finally agree to refund me my money. Ill never spend a dime at another jimmy johns with a staff so unmotivated and incompetent. Im baffled by how unprofessional they were on the phone. read more
