Haven't been here in awhile. Spouse and I dropped in for a take out order. I had the meatball and spouse had the Chicken N Cheddar Rancher. Both were good but spouse's was better. Mine needed more sauce it seemed. But they do have their Datil Pepper sauce both for sale and sandwich serving size for free. They gave me about a dozen before I declined more. I recommend this establishment. read more

If you haven't used the Firehouse Rewards App but are a frequent visitor to Firehouse, I highly recommend downloading this ASAP because you will end up with various free items and sandwiches throughout the year. This location is one near where my father-in-law lives, and so we order from here almost weekly, as we have made a fan of Firehouse by our patriarch. I almost always order ahead using the app. The guaranteed time available is prompt and accurate almost always. The service is polite, and if the order is inaccurate or they are out of something, they try to make it right. For fast sandwiches using Boar's Head meat and higher-quality products, this is a location I recommend. read more

Firehouse Subs is not always the first place I go to when I want a sandwich, but when I go I always enjoy their sandwiches. I always make sure to go when they are featuring the Cuban with slaw. Really tasty! read more

Constant disappointment here, especially when ordering bitesquad. Pictures is a cheese steak sub that was supposed to have many toppings. Not only is it missing some but the toppings that are there are literally a couple slivers, like the green pepper for example.... horrible sandwich makers. I mean how do you not put cheese in a cheese steak sub?? Firehouse, this was ordered 10/4/19 in the afternoon read more

Firehouse Subs - Gluten Free Rolls - Fast Food Near Me - Tallahassee, Florida

Typically the food and service are pretty good but not today!!!! I ordered curbside and this is what they promote on their site. "If you ordered curbside pickup, please park in a designated curbside spot when you arrive and call the number on the sign. If you are hearing impaired: tap your horn twice to signal the staff." There's no designated pickup and no number to call. I had to look up the number to call only to find out the said I had to come inside. Huh? Then they didn't have my order which I was already 10 minutes late. Then they said they found it and you could hear an intense DISCUSSION about my order over the phone. Huh? They told me to give them a few minutes to prepare it. Hmmm but you just told me you didn't have my pre-paid order. Huh? I have them ten more minutes and with no other customers they still didn't have it ready! The forgot to put the bacon on the chili and put it on the side. Huh? This wasn't a breakfast order. The food was decent BUT this was far too much drama for a curbside pickup that doesn't exist. Huh? Stay away read more

Not a great store. Workers do not seem to care. Store is dirty. Workers are outside on break when tables and floor are dirty. But one guy was very sweet so I added stars. Ha! read more

I've been here recently more than I care to admit because it is close to the hospital. On the last four orders for takeout, they have all been wrong. I order two sandwiches each time. I've ordered online and over the phone but they still didn't get it right. Hubby likes his N.Y. Steamer - fully involved. I vary my order but not being a veggie person, don't get the fully involved. I don't like mustard and hubby does. When our sandwiches get mixed up and we aren't there to do something about it, we both get upset. Today, his "fully involved" included tons of black olives which we did not ask for nor can either of us stand! Fully involved is: Loaded complete with mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a kosher dill pickle on the side. I don't think we'll order from here again. read more

Mmmmmm - something about a Firehouse Sub that is simply heads above other sub shops! This particular location provides really outstanding service and our meal was delicious. My date ordered the Hook and Ladder which is his go to choice because it is ALWAYS good. He said "there is just something about the flavor combination - I'm not sure if it's the bread or the mustard or the ham but together they get it right." I ordered the new Nashville Brisket as a salad and it did not disappoint! It was spicy and there was plenty of meat making it a filling choice for my Keto dinner. They are normally served in a special corn roll which looked delicious but I stayed on track and let them keep the roll. It does have a nice bite so be aware if you are sensitive to too much heat. The team here was helpful with our order and very friendly. They came to check on us halfway through the meal which was appreciated. Food is good, of course. Staffing here could use some improvement. Person making our sandwiches screamed "I'm going to throw this f*cking tomato at your face." She was also talking to her coworker about quitting her job at Firehouse, for the whole store to hear! read more

I was told I had to have a mask, I did not have one then I was told to wait outside since I had a pickup order and it would be brought to me, 20 minutes later I go to check and my food has been sitting on the counter for I don't know how long... and I was then told I needed to sign. I should've been instructed to do so when I arrived or made possible through the online order. read more

Had it delivered today. Pretty good, and very fast. Dining in is better, but sigh, they are doing a great job for us stay at homes.

Our subs were excellent and made to order. The service and the cleanliness of the restaurant could use some improvement.

Driving to Tampa and stopped at this location for Firehouse Subs. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The restaurant is so clean and of course the subs were amazing. read more

Long wait times. Nearly waited 40 minutes for one sandwich when there was only one customer in the building and they had been sitting there prior to my arrival. read more

It takes forever. 15 min just for a simple sandwich. There are 4 people working and only 3 customers. Food is decent.

Great service at this location! Sandwiches are typical like other Firehouse locations. I had the NY Steamer which is a New York City inspired sub (pastrami). I also had their chili which was nice, hot, and tasty during this cold night. read more

I had never been to a Firehouse Subs before and man was I missing out apparently. Great service right in the middle of lunch rush and amazing food. I've lived in Tallahassee about eight months now and haven't been able to find a good sub place here, but I have now! I'll be a new regular for sure! read more

I don't like to give negative reviews. I had worked past normal lunch time so wanted to call ahead for my order. The young lady asked if I would hold & I said yes. I figured I would drive in their direction from my work and the food would be ready for pickup when I arrived. The young lady never picked up and when I walked in was just standing there behind the register doing nothing. Someone behind the counter asked if the line was busy. I said no. I was so disgusted I turned around and walked out. read more

You had better order at least two subs per person, because these sandwiches are pathetically lightweight and insubstantial. It's crazy that they don't consider the loss/lack of repeat business they cultivate by leaving customers hungry. Their medium sub -- mine was 7.5 ounces total weight -- would be an embarrassment to any hungry fireman. read more

Not bad, better than other national chains. I got the New York Steamer -- corned beef brisket and pastrami with provolone, which was good (not too salty, which I had feared). My boys got the meatball sub and thought the footlongs would be too much...but they apparently weren't. they disappeared in seconds. read more

Definitely my favorite hot sub place. I been eating firehouse since 2001 and still consider this my favorite. They use a good amount of meat and steam the provolone cheese in the steamer to the meat....genius. Their personal hot sauce is very tasty but also have options of another 20+ hot sauces. I personally get either hook&ladder or engineer sub. This location was great like always...asked me what sub I wanted before I got to the register to order to help speed things up. Price can't be beat... read more

Always very pleasant staff and food comes out correct. It's clean and they have the enhanced functionality coke machine. Today I called in an order and spoke w Linda who was so pleasant on the phone. That's hard to say for a lot of places. read more

Their drink machine has over 9000 flavors. Try the vanilla root beer.

I can't even the number of times they've put me on hold and then hung up. If you're really craving Firehouse go to a different location.

Our first time going to Firehouse Subs and boy what an amazing experience and delicious food. When we first walked in the place was nice and clean, it was cool and refreshing, from being in the heat, and the service was excellent. In the beginning, our original place to eat at was MoMo's Pizza right behind Firehouse Subs. First thing we noticed was the smell, how it looked so run-down and was nobody there so we could order our food. We were glad to eat at Firehouse Subs instead, we tried the Hook and Ladder subs which Brandon really was a huge help with that. He explained to us we can get the best deal of the sub if we order 4 small for the price of $3.99. We also wanted some cups of water with our subs, and Brandon gave us a free cup! Overall, Firehouse Subs is highly recommended, they have delicious food, great and friendly service, nice, refreshing restaurant and you get as much water as you'd like! read more
