Kinda disappointed in this location. I asked for a little John with all the extras on it but just received a default little John standard sandwich. The cashier seemed to acknowledge what I said like he understood but clearly he didn't. It was ok as far as Jimmy John sandwiches go but nothing special. Sandwich was very dry. I also asked for a cup of water and never got one. I ended up eating the dry sandwich because I was in a hurry. Yeah I know I could have asked them for a cup again but they should have gotten it right the first time. The cashier just didn't do a good job of listening. The bathroom was out of order as well but I need to go so it felt awkward using the women's bathroom as the men's had an out of order sign with no other message about using the women's bathroom. I would have appreciated some signage on the women's bathroom explaining the situation. I do wish JJ would have genderless bathrooms. Also JJ's has, for some time, stopped listing the freebies, and you have to specifically ask for it. Also I will never understand why the napkins are behind. Great location, it was super easy to order on their website and pick it up. It gives you an update once your order is ready. We also used a coupon code SAVE20 for any order over $10, it took 20% off & it expires on 9/5/20 It was a warm day and a cold tasty sandwich is perfect for such weather. My favorite is the Club Lulu it has turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo. I do add a little mustard and it's PERFECT! The bbq chips are really good as well. read more

My parents and I always come to this Jimmy John's and never have had an issue with the service. We always enjoy our food and generally the atmosphere is is great. I would recommend this Jimmy John's and I will definitely go back. With that being said, I'm hoping this visit is just a one off and I'm hoping this reaches the franchise owner since I cannot seem to get ahold of them. The person that was kind of "running " the show made the environment extremely uncomfortable today. Every swear word you can think of was being thrown around. He helped an elderly couple and was very short with them as I observed. He made the other employee that was there at the time extremely uncomfortable and you could tell in that employees eye contact with me that he was apologetic but couldn't say it out loud. I love Jimmy John's!!! I can't say enough good things about this place. Affordable and excellent quality, huge sandwiches. Always consistent and delicious. The #8 billy club is my favorite by far. Their peppers are out of this world in flavor and their pickles are divine. Reminds me of a really top notch kosher deli style pickle but at one tenth the price. If you're looking for a budget friendly sandwich with a lot of meat or even a veggie option or wrap, then you can't go wrong. Plus their freaky fast delivery truly is freaky fast. I have been going to Jimmy Johns for years; in many different locations, and their service has always been lightining fast and always very friendly! I can only give three stars though because the music is always sooooooooooooo loud...at all locations, but in Sherwood, is is always blasting. I would like to note that I am 43 (not that old I don't think), and I listen to my stereo in my car at the highest possible volume, all the time, but I can't take music blasting that loud while I'm eating and trying to relax on my lunch break. My guess is that the owner wants to pump up his young staff and get them moving fast! My other guess is that the owner wants people in and out fast too...and believe me, if that's the goal, it is working. I've been to this Jimmy John's about 10 times (even though I only have 6 check-ins). They opened a few months back. When any company first opens, I feel like you have to give them some slack. Training all new employees and getting into a groove can take a bit. You also can't just give up with one bad experience (thus the 10 visits). Unfortunately, as other reviewers have mentioned, they can't figure it out yet, even months later. The biggest problem seems to be quantity over quality. The sandwich is always made super fast. But it's only made correctly about 60% of the time. As another reviewer said, I would rather have it made right & slowly than get the wrong sandwich made quickly. The biggest problem seems to be in the details. For example, I have added bacon to a sandwich, then see no bacon. Same with hot peppers. I've also had no avocado added. But they sometimes place it between the cheese. Which is fine, as long as it's on there. The flow of their production almost encourages mistakes because they give you the receipt with the sandwich instead of when you pay. So you can't review what they put on the order until after it's already made. This really is noticeable with items that don't cost anything, like hot peppers. Some positive notes: the ingredients are almost always tasty and fresh. They are usually polite and no one back there seems to hating their jobs. Parking is awesome because of Walmart being there. Some other notes: the area to wait for your sandwich is awkward. Luckily you don't have to wait for long. But there isn't really a good area to stand. You are either in the walkway or standing in front of the soda machine. They also are not super giving on napkins. But this is Jimmy John related, not specific to this location. They don't give them with the sandwich. They are behind the counter and you have to reach over it to get any. I have never had a sandwich delivered or ordered online so I can't speak to any of that. In the end, I think I'm to the point of going elsewhere for lunch. Maybe I'll try again in 6 months or so. Hopefully they can get it figured out soon. read more

We ordered online. It was so easy to register on their website, customize and order our sandwiches. We paid for our order online to expedite pick-up. I ordered the Turkey Tom, no mayo, with all veggies on wheat. It was very good, the bread was thick sliced and soft. Wow, it was only 420 calories with less than 6 grams of fat! Ordered a pickle on the side, it was crispy and had a good flavor. Overall I enjoyed the ease of the online ordering process, order pickup and the sandwich itself. I come into JJ's at least once a week. They are always courteous, smiling, and greet me when I walk in. I order the same thing every time. It's what I like. Love that they have sweet tea. Chips are good, the cookies are good. And did I mention they're fast. The sandwich maker literally listens to what is being ordered to begin making the sandwich. "X sauce" means EXTRA Olive Oil and Vinegar, it does not mean NO Olive oil and vinegar! Not sure how many times I get NO OLIVE OIL and VINEGAR! So frustrating. I usually go pick up my order now because on occasion when I pay for them to deliver, they deliver the wrong sandwhich (not made to order) and the pop is 2 inches below the top. Unacceptable!!!!! Everytime I indicate that the order was wrong, or that I had to come to the shop to correct the order after I paid for delivery, they NEVER offer to compensate for the delivery charges. Going on $6.00 now that I have paid, but had to go back. It is such a hit a miss here! Not sure if the turn over is so high due lack of pay or what, but it's a crapshoot on my order!
