I was on the phone with an employee. I was politely wondering if they were currently hiring. Very simple yes or no question. His response was extremely rude. He told me not to call about hirings during lunch and hung up on me before I could even respond. Love stopping in at this jimmy johns when ISU is in session for a quick bite between classes. Always go for the slim #5 which is fabulous every time. The people are really sweet and it's always fast. Great place to chill and get a little break for heading back to school. read more

First ever JJ, not bad at all! The bread tastes so fresh and sweet, love it! But I don't like that you can't toast your sandwich, as I'd like my food warm. I guess it makes sense because it is a defintely different flavor of sanwich from what subway offers for their warm/hot ones. The service is very good. And I really like the interior design! Placed call for delivery at 1:48. Got a call a 2:34. Apologized for lateness of food, driver was swamped. OK. Got a call at 2:54 driver at wrong address. Cancelled order. Called Customer Service number from the website to complain. They weren't open to take my calls. Called store to complain asked for manager, took over two minutes for her to come on the phone. My sports team came in here and we where talking in level 3/5 voices and they yelled at all of us to quiet down. We where not disturbing anyone in the place because no one was there and the person who yelled at us was making sandwiches for us. I have had pretty decent luck at this Jimmy John's location. The service speed in the drive thru is decent. The food is as ordered, all of the time. They only carry sweet and low- no splenda/equal...that is really the only downside. I will say that sometimes there are too few sprouts and other times, too many. read more

I was very disappointed with the delivery. I called and told the person working I wanted a turkey sandwich on wheat with lettuce and mayo. He told me it would be cheaper if he just put in mayo packets which I thought was very nice. When the sandwich arrive it was just plain turkey on white bread with no mayo packets. So I called to tell them and the guy told me it would take 45 min to drop off mayo packets even though my whole order was wrong except the turkey. read more

This review is solely on the delivery time. 40 minutes is not 'freaky fast'. I could have walked there, ate, and walked back to work in the time it took for them to deliver. Either get more delivery people during the lunch hour or let people know of the wait. I realize this is a review for a Jimmy Johns in a college town and I hope that no one takes it too seriously. First, let me just preface by saying that Ricky the delivery man is a TOP NOTCH employee and possibly the best delivery person this side of the Mississippi. I have only ordered delivery from this location twice, but so far 2 for 2, they can't get an order right. The first time I ordered a veggie sandwich with extra sprouts, and the sad-wich came with maybe five individual sprouts on it. Like, someone was insulted I asked for extra sprouts and spitefully scattered the least amount of sprouts possible. Disappointing, but not a dealbreaker. The second time I ordered a #15, which is a tuna club sub that costs a dollar more because it comes with provolone cheese. The Sandwich arrived and I took a couple bites before realizing that there was no cheese... DEALBREAKER! The cheese was the whole point of that particular sandwich selection. I called the store and explained to mister sammich boss man "hey dude! no cheese!" and he tried to tell me that you have to ASK for cheese... which is complete b.s. because a) the cheese in listed in the description of the sammich, and b) I order that sub from work from time to time and there is always cheese. I told him all that and said "oh, ok I'll tell him." (tell who? tell who what? tell who when?) To which I replied "Um? Do you want me to drive this sammich back over there...or...what?" His response was an audible sigh and "so you want another sandwich?" YES I WANT THE DANG SANDWICH I ORDERED! I'M A WHITE LADY FROM THE MIDWEST! DON'T MESS WITH MY CHEESE BOY! He asked me to give the driver back the original wrongness sandwich... because that's wonderful customer service... so I neatly wrapped it back up and waited for Ricky to come back. Poor guy, I felt bad because my original tip was online and with my card, I had no cash or I would have re-tipped him. Because Rick is an exemplary delivery guy.
