I have NEVER had a less-than-excellent delivery/order from Jimmy John's, specifically the Market St. location in Bloomington, IL... my sandwiches have ALWAYS arrived quickly (within 20-30 minutes), always correct (and I have a few dietary 'customizations' I have to place!), always fresh and delicious! I wanted to add my review because it saddens me to see most reviews happen when an order goes wrong - in my case they've always been 10 out of 10, PERFECT! Thank you, Jimmy John's! read more

Food took 2 hours to deliver down the street. Food was old and soggy when it arrived. When I called about where the food was it took 3 tries. I was on hold for over 10 minutes. When the driver finally arrived no knock or doorbell at all no notification or anything. Went to the store and got an attitude from the cashier who refused to refund their pitiful disgrace of a delivery. This is the 2nd time the food took over 2 hours from this location. There are four other Jimmy John's in this town and I can guarantee you every single other one will be 1 million times better than this trash heap. Three sandwiches with a side and a drink. plus 20% tip. took over 40 minutes for "freaky fast" also no straws for drinks and left out a side. when called to bring side, asked if we wanted to come pick it up....we can't. we are at work. asked to bring it and never showed up. this location clearly does not care and the guy on the phone was rude and not empathetic to the fact it was paid for and wanted us to come pick it up even tho a $60 plus order was called to be delivered. I wish I could give 0 stars for the people working inside this place. I ordered a Little John turkey tom... got charged for a regular sized turkey sandwich then received a Little John turkey tom with literally half slice of turkey on it. When I asked for more turkey and they refused and started yelling about me not getting any more because I ordered a little john...but I paid for a regular sandwich. Bloomington has the most restaurants per capita... do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else and you will find a place with people that have more common sense and better customer service than here. If you're REALLY in the JJ mood there are several Jimmy John's locations within a few minutes of this one that have workers that can successfully take an order and make a sandwich. For reference here's my turkey sandwich next to my boyfriend's roast beef sandwich, which they managed to put two layers of roast beef on despite it being the exact same size an half the price of my sandwich. read more

Manager there was extremely rude. Order was just shy of 2 hours old. Called and was told my sandwichs have been made and are waiting for the delivery driver to come back and they would be out for delivery. So not only would my food be hours late, but soggy. I called and said well something needs to be done. Compensation or something. She said I'll cancel your order entirely and refund your money and abruptly hung up on me. When I called back and asked for her name, she refused to give me her name for this exact complaint. read more

My friend ordered four sandwiches, we waiting for a very long time. He spoke to a manager three times who was impatient, saying the right things but said as if he could care less about the situation, complained of being the only one there, and that is simply ridiculous. Missing one sandwich out do the four, only would credit and not refunding the sandwich without returning the entire order which was already being eaten by a family. My brother split his sandwich with the friend whose order is missing and he opened up because he felt it tickle his lip as he went to eat it and there was a long hair in there. Nasty. The food was late, the service was terrible, and the quality is nasty it seems. This is my first JJ experience and I am considering never again. There's not much to say other than it's Jimmy Johns. The quality matches what you'd get from any other location. The outside dining area is nice even with the fact that side of Bloomington isn't the best scenery. They finally fixed that pothole that was end of their drive thru. However, the drive thru still spits you out on Madison St. right after the curve. You have to watch for some of the crazy drivers flying around the corner. I always floor it. read more

Claim is they are short staffed - baloney - call the order in, 10 minutes make the sandwich, then it sits there getting stale for 45 minutes before they send it out the door, either that or the delivery guy took 50 minutes to get the four blocks to me. Worst location ever. I ordered beach club, which is what I always order. Didnt come with any avocado or alfafa sprouts and barely any lettuce. So half-assed. And when i called to complain about it, the manager told me sprouts are always optional. 9 times out of 10, you get exactly what you expect...which is a great things! However, the 1 time you get a sandwich with overcooked bread, your entire lunch is ruined. When I called, I got MUCH attitude from the rude a$$ manager there. Apparently she's never heard the customer is always right. She had a very condescending tone and tried to be low-key snippy. First time I ordered "freaky fast" delivery from this location, they took 42 minutes and forgot my drink. Second night I ordered it, it took an hour before I called, and was greeted with "your order is out right now for that address" which it had said on their tracking feature for 20+ minutes.
