The menu was a little overwhelming at first with so many different options, but she made everything so simple and easy to understand. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful and took the time to walk me through everything without making me feel rushed. I ended up getting the #9 Italian. Went there today and was refused service because I wanted to pay with cash using a $50.00 bill. Cashier told me they do not take anything over a $20.00 bill. This store resides in Newport Beach and the city has a specific ordinance that brick and mortar stores must take cash up to $5,000 and must take $50.00 bills. I drove 30 Minutes total to get the sandwich and had to miss my lunch because the store was rude and also is not following the city ordinance. I filed a formal complaint and will see what they do. read more

Good location, they can definitely get overwhelmed sometimes but most of the time I come in they are friendly and quick. The restroom sometimes is not the cleanest. They do have a habit of not adding extra when asked (example extra jimmy peepers will come with barely any) but this is pretty minor. Well 3 of us came in here last Saturday morning around 10am. We all ordered separately and our food came out relatively fast. As we started eating, our friend Brian realized that they had made him the wrong sandwich. Now , Drew and Nick happened to be the gentleman that were working that day. Before we could even get up and mention to them that the order was completely wrong, they had already realized their mistake and corrected it even before being mentioned. Now that! I really appreciate as it showed that they took accountability and corrected the mistake so that shows honesty and attention. Love Jimmy John's, but this location is not it. The person taking our order, Jazlen, did not correctly take the order down and there was poor communication between her and the person making the sandwiches. This resulted in the sandwich maker handing us the completely wrong order, and then when we asked for the correct order, this led to us receiving the wrong size sandwich, which means that we paid significantly more for a smaller sandwich than we otherwise should have. read more

Freaky fast service was no joke! I walked in to order my usual Italian sub and by the time I paid and walked over to a chair, they called my order. The young lady making my sandwich was very sweet greeting me and asking me if I wanted the sandwich cut in half and wanted condiments to go and a paper bag. Nice kids working here. Little to no turkey in my unwich. It's all lettuce with 2 slices of tomato.

A coworker of mine wanted jimmy johns (I've never had it, I normally go to jersey mikes) and this was definitely a disappointment. I ordered the "beach club" and the pictures on line looked amazing, with loads of lettuce and avocado spread. When I got it I immediately noticed the old shriveled up lettuce that was used and then I thought they forgot to put avocado on it. After digging around I found not even a scoop worth in between the cheese slices. $11 for a depressing sandwich...... this place is horribly overpriced for the quality. I placed an order on the app and forgot that I had chosen wheat bread as my previous order and they were kind to switch it out for me for the delicious white bread. They were so generous I was blown away. They even gave me some bread to take with me because they were going to throw it out anyways. Horrible service. Dude working two nights ago had a delivery come up for delivery and lied to me. I walk up a 3-5 minutes after close to pick up the order and the kid walks up to me and asks me if I have an order for pickup, as there is one order waiting to be picked up. I tell him the name and then he looks at me in the face and says that the order came in after they closed and that 4 other drivers already tried to pick it up. Grant it it's only a couple minutes past closing time. There wouldn't have been enough time for the drivers all to show up and the orders come in before the restaurant closes. I'll never waste my time at this place and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Maybe don't blatantly lie when you don't want to make an order. The irony is, he has to wait anyways for someone to pick up another order and had time to make the one he lied about. Literally costing the company money because his laziness. read more

Right by the John Wayne Airport is a great location after picking somone up from the airport. I believe her name was Krista helped us and was so friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond. As a loyal customer, I have to say this is one of the slowest Jimmy John's locations I've ever visited. I have been here twice now because it is on route to the beach, but man are they slow. The first time I came in, I ordered at the counter, two regular sandwiches and one little John. It took almost 25 minutes for us to get our sandwiches. For a fast food location that is simply unacceptable. The second time, I decided to order online to be able to have my sandwiches ready at a certain time and not have to wait so long to get them, but again, when I showed up (which was about 5-10 mins AFTER the time I indicated for pick up) the sandwiches weren't even being prepared! When I asked the gal at the front she looked very confused and overwhelmed. I asked her about my order and she frantically went over the guy making the sandwiches then he pointed out that my order was behind 4 other orders! Unbelievable and unacceptable for an online order expected at a certain time. On this occasion I had to wait about 15 minutes to get my sandwiches. Once we got to the beach, the little John was very poorly made, only one small piece of Turkey and the rest was lettuce and bread, these sandwiches were clearly rushed. Such a disappointment all around. Management really needs to either better train their staff to manage high volumes of orders or work out better system processes because this location is STRUGGLING! read more

We visited this location this afternoon and waited inside for about 10 minutes and no one was working inside. It was almost eerie how quiet the restaurant was. We thought maybe they were in the restroom or on a break, so we called out and & still no one showed up.
