Ordered drive-thru for the 3 finger combo. Location is not as busy as the others + nice service + consistent taste.

Chicken fingers were small compared to other locations

It's a shame when a business thinks 1 sauce is enough for a whole meal of 4 pieces and fries.

Was going to be in the area, so I placed an online order for a firebird bowl and power bowl. Both…read moreof them were really good bowls, and felt pretty healthy! The firebird bowl came with fried chicken thighs, crispy onions, pickled onions, lettuce, and quinoa. Chicken was delicious, and the salad paired with it made it well-balanced. Power bowl had chicken al pastor, boiled egg, avocado, pickled onions, and quinoa. I'd say the power bowl felt the most health-focused one. Def would recommend! The place itself has a pretty cool dining space, that's almost like a brewery vibe. You order at the front counter, and they'll give you a number and bring your food out to you. There's also a giant bar, a happy hour, and plenty of large TVs to catch the game. The place is so big, that you'd probably be able to bring a bunch of your friends and hangout.

This review is 90% love, but I hope the owners catch the 10% that needs work…read more We came back to Crack Shack for round 2 because my wife was obsessed with the Firebird on our first visit. Crispy chicken sandwich = dope, no notes. We also grabbed chicken tenders that first time and got... sad nuggets instead. Not the end of the world, so we rolled back after she dropped $200 on gift cards. This visit: Firebird again, Cob salad, and we made sure to get the _actual_ spicy chicken tenders. Place is huge for a crispy chicken spot. Two levels, 40-ft bar with beer/spirits, TVs, bar stools, and dog-friendly with pics of pups on the wall. Order outside, grab a number, find a seat. Very cool vibe. 10 mins later food hits. Firebird still looks like fire. Cob salad was on point -- avocado, egg, mixed greens, chard corn, pickled onions, crispy quinoa, tomatoes. Solid. Now the tenders. I know they weren't nuggets this time -- they were longer, thinner... and tasted like something I'd pull from 7-Eleven. Even then, 7-Eleven would get side-eyed. Disappointed is an understatement. Advice: skip the tenders unless you've got kids to feed. Last complaint isn't food -- it's the app. I bought $200 in gift cards but waited too long to claim reward points, emailed them, and got ghosted. That's the second bad taste in one visit. Mr. Crack, if you're reading: hit my email so I can update this to 10/10 and praise your customer service. You've got the food and vibe locked. Fix the tenders and the support, and you're untouchable. 8.2/10 -- you know what to work on.

However, my brother decided to take me today since we didn't have a lot of time and we were in the neighborhood and it is a favorite of his. First of all I was thrilled to see sweet tea on the beverage list and it did not disappoint. I'm also giddy when I watch that pebble/nugget type of ice fall from the beverage machine into my cup. I love that type of ice! So I was already happy to be there before I even received my food. We sat outside and it was quite comfortable. I was able to carry on a conversation with my brother even with the busy street nearby, it was quite impressive. Our food came out quick and although it was tasty, what blew me away was the amazing outdoor service from Gabby. She was super attentive without being overbearing with a genuine hospitality and friendliness that made you want to make her your friend. Gabby remained efficient & professional while balancing her warmth and charm (that smile is infectious). Outstanding service! Gabby could teach others a thing or two about proper customer service in food service :) I enjoyed the entire experience. From ordering, to eating (the "palate pleasing" chicken tenders, hot & crispy crinkle cut fries and oh-so-yummy-Texas Toast) outdoors being taken care of by the fabulous Gabby. I will definitely add Raising Cane's to my list of great dining options!!!

It had this nasty, dirty, metallic aftertaste like the soda machine hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long. How does that even happen? Five drinks and not one tasted normal? For the amount of money you spend here, the bare minimum expectation is clean, drinkable soda. It completely ruined the whole meal. We had to throw all of them away because they were that bad. It's honestly embarrassing for a restaurant to serve something like that. If the drinks taste like that, it really makes you question what else isn't being maintained properly. Super disappointing experience. I expected way better. I won't be coming back if this is the kind of quality they think is acceptable. Had to go out of my way to McDonald's to buy drinks there really inconvenient..

You really can't beat the price and quality, it's consistently great and exactly what you want every time. This location gets 4 stars instead of 5 mainly because there's no real dine-in option. It's essentially a large drive-through, and because of that, the wait can be one of the longest. Still, the food quality keeps me coming back despite the lines. Reliable, affordable, and always satisfying, even when the wait tests your patience.

I was visiting a park here in Costa Mesa and tried this In-N-Out. We had a terrible experience. After waiting for 15 minutes in line, I was waived forward by an employee and told to exit the parking lot and re-enter the back of the line. I asked why, and the guard said that the car behind me claimed I cut them off. I did not cut them off. I followed a green arrow directly into the line with the other cars in front of me. I waited my turn, and was sent to the back of the line. In total, I waited 40 minutes for my food. To be fair, when I told the manager about the situation, he was extremely professional. He gave us gift certificates for future purchases, and was very polite. The manager represented when I come to expect from In-N-Out. The other employees missed the mark. We will not be coming back to this In-N-Out.

As usual I got the blackened fish taco and the charbroiled fish taco. Both were loaded up with fresh shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, and got some salsa verde on the side. The fish itself was cooked perfectly. Nice tender pieces with a really fresh taste and a good seasoning on both tacos. The blackened one had a little more kick and smoky flavor while the charbroiled taco had that perfect mix of fresh ingredients that tasted great. The tortillas were soft, the cabbage had a nice crunch, and everything just tasted fresh from the first bite to the last. Every bite had fish, cabbage, pico, and flavor all mixed together. After all these years this is still one of those places where I never even look at the rest of the menu because the fish tacos are that good.

We love the fish here and tend to get the blackened. The black beans are amazing, and they also have really good rice. Oddly it was the rice that made my son want to bring us here the first time, he will eat it with a shovel. Great lil salsa bar that they keep well stocked and fresh. Something for everyone and if you like seasoned onions you have to load up on those. soooo good. Tried the new steak taco this week and it was a huge piece of meat in the tortilla, they don't hold back. It too was excellent but it's the fish here I really love.

We ordered chicken sandwiches, fries, and the holiday peppermint shake. All were good except: the gluten free bun. Oh man. I'm gluten free and normally order the grilled nuggets, but I had a coupon for a sandwich that couldn't be replaced with nuggets. The cashier was sweet and knew I was gluten free, so he suggested a gf bun. I paid the $1.50 for the bun. Wooooof. It was drier than a desert. I took one bite and swiftly axed the bun lol It's cool Chick-fil-a has the gf option, but it's awful. Service- service was great! Everyone was so kind and helpful. I wish I remembered the name of our cashier because he was so helpful and also funny. Parking - not good. We had to park in a lot kind of a walk away. The parking lot is small and super weird to get into from the street. It's actually pretty inconvenient parking. Location- not good. It's complicated to get to the restaurant and hard to know where to turn into. It's also complicated to get out and get back onto the main street. Cleanliness - clean inside and out. Clean bathrooms. The last inconvenience is that there is no drive through. No biggie to eat inside, but if I need it to go I would go to another location.
