I walked down the street and found my order in front of my neighbor's home. I love Jimmy John's and it normally always hits the spot, but last time I came here (and it will be the last time) I ordered my usually sandwich online and came in to pick it up. The entire staff ignored me when I went to try and pay so I stood there for 5 minutes after the person who made my sandwich threw it onto the pickup counter while ignoring me. This is my go-to sandwich shop when I want a quick dinner (they are SUPER FREAKY Fast at making sandwiches, just like their motto). I've tried several different sandwiches, but the one I order most is the #9 Italian Night Club. All their sandwiches are cold, so that does limit it a little if you're wanting something hot, but for ME, this is usually ok. I love the vinagrette they put on their sandwiches, so if I order a sub that doesn't normally have it, I add it. :) They have good crunchy bagged potato chips like BBQ and Jalapeno, which are great with the sandwiches. Quick tip about the menu that I didn't know until last week...The difference between the left side of the menu "8" Sub Sandwiches" and the right side "Giant Club Sandwiches" is the meat portion. Giant Clubs have double-meat vs. 8" Subs have regular-portioned meat. Service is always good, they always remember me when I go in there (not by name, but good enough), and they usually play kick-ass rock music. The tall bigger guy is always there everytime I'm in there and he's always super friendly and singing to the music. This is the closest I have ever found to it. Homemade bread (ok, well somewhere someone made it, so it is homemade). Crisp lettuce. Real mayo. Yummy roast beef. I always order the #2, with chips and a drink. No, it is not super cheap, but Subway is, and it tastes like it. too. There have been a few "off" times when the bread was dry, but most of the time, I am a happy camper. **Just a warning though- the music inside is LOUD. The Yelp reviews were very good but we were disappointed. The main claim to fame seems to be how fast they put a sandwich together. They are good at that for sure. However, the staff are not into any conversation with the customer. They take your order and get it done. My wife ordered a sandwich that was shown on the shop window when we arrive. There was little resemblance, except the length of the bun. The ingredients of the sandwich were very meager. So, the place is clean and the food quality we had was good. When I called, the lady said they only deliver 2 miles from the location, (I live 3.3 miles away!! ) but, NOONE LIVES WITHIN 2 MILES FROM THE LOCATION. They are located at a large highway/highway intersection. There are stores, restaurants, gas stations, etc. there. You have to drive to get to any house. And before people judge me for not driving there, since it's 'literally a straight shot'.... I called for assistance and spoke to the "manager" who wasn't very helpful or apathetic and advised me to contact my bank. So I verified with my bank that i used the correct info and now i have to wait a few business days to get my money back because they have to dispute the charges with this place. So i paid 4 times for an order i didn't receive and have to wait a few days to get my money back. Poor management and poor website ordering has turned me away from Jimmy John's.
