One final try for this location. Same issues even after multiple people online sharing the same feedback. 1- Order online, meal not accurate or ready at pickup. 2- Short staffed, so don't offer pickup via drive thru. No one wants to wait an extra 30 in drive thru for a call ahead offer. 3- Called store to switch to drive up (car full of kids)- after over 4 minutes on hold, gave up. Lobby was closed but luckily we were able to get in to grab our order. 4- Ordered napkins with each sandwich (4), and received a grand total of 1. 5- Ordered sandwiches but in half, one was not. We always request knives as this is pretty common at this establishment, it they are no longer carried so we had to rip it apart at the beach. 6- Luckily we asked for mayo packets again at pickup, as none were included even though specified on the online order. Subs aren't they outstanding- just had been easier to pick up and more friendly to eat in the beach with the lack of option toppings and thinner sandwiches. This location is terrible, they are open until 10PM yet the lobby is consistently closed before 8PM. They always point to the drive through. I have a 3/4 ton pickup which does not fit in their tiny drive through. Sometimes they open the door and let me order but what the heck? Don't have open hours if you aren't open. Not everyone wants to go through a drive through, especially when orders get messed up and it's nice to either watch it made or check it in the store. First and last time I've ever had Jimmy John's. I told them it was my first time and I was unsure what I wanted. I had to constantly ask the cashier to repeat herself because she wouldn't speak up and she didn't know the menu either. I said "I know I want a turkey sandwich but I'm not sure what I want on it." She told me at first different toppings would be extra. I've never been to a sandwich place where you paid for toppings unless it was more meat or cheese. I just wanted pickles add and the onions taken off. She put it in and I guess it immediately got made because when I tried to tell them my toppings she told me it was too late it was already made. I ordered the #4 Turkey Tom with no cheese, no Mayo and asked for onions on, I went through the Drive Thru window. when I hat home with my order there was cheese I picked off, the onions I asked for were missing as was pretty much the lettuce As there were about 3 stands of shredded lettuce. I have been frequenting this location since we moved down to this area almost two years ago. For the most part, they have been really good and freaky fast. Today, I pulled in and was car number four in line. I knew it wouldn't be as fast as usual, but it was terribly slow. Almost 20 minutes from pull in to order actually. WTH? That being said, I had points that made one of my three subs free and the cashier was the one to alert me to this and all three subs were ordered with special requests and all were PERFECT!! This jimmy johns is easy to spot from Beach blvd. The building was built not to long ago. It still has a new building feel on inside and out. The outside has plenty of lights and a big sign to draw your attention to the restaurant. You order when you walk in and self serve your drinks. The drink fountains are a bit away from the seated area. After you fill your drinks yo use at yourself. They deliver the food to your table. The sandwiches we had here had a nice taste. The all parts of the sandwich did not have a fresh taste. All ingredients have a taste of being processed and shipped to each location. As previous stated, the food did taste above average. The customer service was friendly. They were quick to help. They modified the sandwiches as we requested. Overall this is a nice family place to stop with the children going to or from a family day at the beaches. read more

For the past couple of months I have placed online orders for delivery an hour before closing and every time they call me to cancel my order either because they ran out of bread or they have no delivery drivers. How can you run a business with your moto that states Freaky Fast Delivery when you do not have any delivery drivers. If this is happening frequently then this place needs to close down since their main attraction apart from the food is the convenience of a delivery service. The customer service at Jimmy Johns is always out of this world. I tried the drive thru at the beaches location this afternoon and it was extremely quick. By the I ordered and made my way to the window my order was ready. I accidentally dropped my card as I was handing it to the attendant (100 percent my fault) and he literally jumped the window to pick it up for me. I was blown away. The food was extremely fresh and light as usual. I love that Jimmy John's offers sprouts on their sandwiches if requested. It's hard to find places that do that anymore. read more

The boy at the front counter was too busy on a "secretive" cellphone call to be of any assistance. I settled on the Bootlegger sandwich and it was something you could make at home much cheaper. I'm 100% certain I also got overcharged for one sandwich was $9.13 I looked at the menu and that was the same price for one of their meals. This is one of the bigger, faster Jimmy Johns locations I have been to. Jimmy Johns is known for fast service and high quality sandwiches. This location is no different. It appears to be pretty new, and they seem to take a lot of pride in keeping it looking that way. When I walked in, one of the employees was scrubbing the Jimmy Johns logo on the floor. I ordered my sandwich and it was ready by the time I was done paying. There are lots of benches, seats, and tables available for seating. I am pretty sure they have a drive thru as well. The sandwich was made properly and quickly, the service was excellent, and the location was clean and orderly. If you have never been to a Jimmy Johns, it is a sandwich shop. You can get French bread, wheat bread, or even a lettuce wrap. My favorites are the 9 or 14. Stop in and try a sub from this Jimmy johns location if the ideal lunch experience is your jam. The bread is soft, with just enough chew, and I love that it's not super thick...makes for proper bread to filling ratio. Service is fast and friendly and also major plus there is a drive-thru. Spotted this newly-opened Jimmy John's in Jax Beach. It was the first time I've eaten at Jimmy John's and I was more than impressed with my sub. I had the number 9 which is an Italian and all of the ingredients were super fresh. And I could tell the bread was baked the same day it was served as it was soft. The staff was more than helpful with my order. They went above and beyond to make sure my first experience was a good one. I can honestly say this was the best sub I have ever had in my entire life! Normally love Jimmy John's. Experience today was good but not up to normal Jimmy John's standards. Staff was super friendly. They were the best part of the experience. Sandwiches were not made with quite the care that other locations do. Meat was all bunched up towards the top of the sandwich so about half of the bites were mostly bread. Meat on the Vito did not seem like it was sliced same day as most locations do (edges of the meat were dry and a different color). My experience was NOT freaky fast. They're cold sandwiches, not complicated. It's not rocket science people. What took so long?? I was not impressed and certainly not freaked out by the fastness.
