I was in the plaza for other errands and honestly just realized Jimmy John's was in the area. I was excited because it's been a minute. My husband ordered the Beach Club and I ordered the Italian Nightclub, we both got the combo with chips and a fountain drink. The service was friendly and quick. Our sandwiches were made well, the bread wasn't soggy or falling apart and the meat-to-bread and condiments ratio was perfect. It was nice my sandwich wasn't falling apart on me. They have plenty of indoor seating and tables with quotes or information about the sandwich shop on them. The music was a bit mixed, not sure if it was a playlist or on random, but it would get quiet and then kind of loud. The menu has changed a bit recently. As a vegetarian , I've always ordered the veggie vegetarian option (menu is rather limited for non-meat eaters) but I did admittedly get confused when I came in the store and I ordered one that seemed to be described as vegetarian on the menu board , but when in fact it sounded meatless but was ultimately under a heading of a "steak" sandwich , so it came with steak and I couldn't eat it (my mistake ) . I asked the cashier to clarify what I had received . And she was nice and explained it and was in the process of offering to remake my sandwich without meat , when the manager came over and rudely REFUSED to make me another sandwich . I guess customer satisfaction isn't important anymore ? I've been a loyal customer for a long time , but he was so rude and ungracious about it , I'm not going to buy from Jimmy John's again . I just had the weirdest interaction here. I confirmed online that this location closed at 9 pm and arrived at 8:53 pm. When I tried to open the door, it was locked. I must have looked confused because a lady came over and opened the door. Here's our conversation: Lady: "I'm sorry, but we're closed." Me: "I thought you closed at 9 pm?" Lady: "Yeah, but we close early on Sundays." Me: "But it's FRIDAY." Lady: "Yeah...." (and then she turned around and went back inside.) Ok, I just got a regular sub, it was probably 6oz at best, plus a bag of chips and large soda for $16.50. There was nothing to it, but I blame the $20/hr for fast food employees, not the employees. The stores can't afford it and it shows in their food. I will never go back there. Every time government messes in private industry they screw it up. I don't know how people could leave bad reviews about this place. It is so amazing! I just love their sandwiches because they are just so DELICIOUS! I also love all their chip options and you get your order very quickly. The turkey sandwich is by far my favorite and I could never get enough of it. My go to is the veggie sub. Delicious fresh bread and vegetables. The service is fast and friendly, and the place is clean.

They couldn't deliver. Not that they didn't try, but they were grossly incompetent. I sat next to the door for over an hour, finally called them to see where my food was. The manager told me they tried to deliver, not true, and that they had problems delivering to my place in the past, odd considering I have always had my sub delivered on time prior to this with no issues. If you want food that may or not arrive, prepared and managed by people who are not above lying when called out about their poor service, then sure, when all other restaurants are burning to the ground try this place. So I'm a little conflicted on how to rate the "stars" on this one and here is why: 1) the gentleman who took our order want very knowledgeable about the sandwiches (fair enough but you do had One Job here...just saying) 2) They. Were. Not. Fast. (like at all) 3) That being said it was the BEST Number 9 Unwich I have ever had...and that's all I've ever eaten from Jimmy's. 4) The gentleman behind us some how got his order "lost" so after 4 or 5 people come and go he still hasn't gotten his. He finally asked a lady who then asked what his orders were / order number were - he couldn't ready the receipt without his reading glasses and went to give her the receipt....she very promptly said, "Oh I can't touch the receipt with gloves on." Which is true for food services but she never took the gloves on to help him out. And she was touching the computer screen. Basically moral of the story we had gotten our food (which was slow to begin with) ate and were walking out the door before this gentleman was even given his food! They didn't offer to reimburse him, or give him a discount. No one really seemed to care. Take away best Jimmy John's I've ever had but the customer service was probably one of the worst. read more

The Best Chain Sandwich Place always so good very consistent my go to for sandwiches.

I was sitting in my car at Mount Rainier Clinic to have a family member get treatments. The wait was going to be long, so I was a little bored... and I was hungry lol. I tried to go in the clinic where they provide food and soup, but unfortunately the cafe was closed for the day. So I was a bit pissed at first, but then I noticed a jimmy johns driver pull up and headed inside the clinic. Luckily I have the JJ app, so I ordered a TON of food like a porker sandwich, jalapeño chips, 2 cookies and a large drink. I waited only about 10 minutes for the food to arrive, and I immediately stuffed my face. The food was delicious and the delivery driver was very nice. I gave him a good tip. If I ever head over to Gig Harbor again, I'll order JJ again. read more

My first time ever to a Jimmy John's so nothing really for comparison less Subway and Quiznos. This one is in a strip mall next to a Papa Murphy's. It was very clean and adequately staffed to provide that "freaky fast" service they promote. I ordered a basic turkey sandwich #4. The filling was fresh and tasted pretty good. The roll however wasn't what i expected. No fluffy bun but more of a pita texture, chewy and thin. There may have been other bread options but I just went with the basic. If I wanted cheese it was 75 cents extra and their "combo" which added chips and a pop just took 10 cents off the full price. Not much of a deal or incentive to upgrade. An ok place if you're in a hurry and just need to refuel but for me not really an out of the way trip. read more

I don't come here often, but since another sandwich location literally sliced cheese for my VEGETARIAN sandwich on a dirty meat slicer right in front of my eyes (I won't say any names, but it starts with J & M) I have started coming here. The workers are always extremely friendly and always get my order right. I have even ordered online and they didn't forget my kicker ranch, which by the way is amazing! Poor attention to details. They never get the order right. Order BBQ and Regular Chips online, receive two Regulars. Ask for extras or remove an item and you get the standard menu build. Food is fine. But c'mon, getting orders correct is fast food basics 101. read more

We really do love Jimmy John's sandwiches and we love that this location has sprouts! But the service is not that great. They always have a ton of people working and not busy, but they don't really seem like they want to help. They have their own conversations going on instead of having one person man the register and the other make the sandwiches while the order is being taken. It's nothing like the Tacoma location in terms of speed and service. And the service can't even come close to that of Jersey Mike's across the road. read more

Went into this location for the first time today. No line at lunchtime (awesome!) and everyone was really nice! I ordered a #6 (veggie) and was waiting for it. They called it a club sandwich and looked at me, and I shook my head and said it wasn't mine. They asked what I ordered and I said a #6. The gentleman taking my order mis heard me and thought I said a #16! They profusely apologized (no big deal, everyone makes mistakes) and quickly made me my sandwich, and gave me my additional change (which I left as a tip since everyone was so awesome) AND gave me the extra sandwich (happy coworker!) Both times I've tried this location the lettuce has had onions mixed in. I hate raw onions :( and the first bite immediately ruins the sandwich. I just wish they kept their ingredients separated. People who want lettuce usually want just that. Not misc vegetables mixed in. read more

Had my first Jimmy John's experience. I was super excited to get my "freaky fast" delivery to work so I wouldn't have to cut into my lunch hour. I could literally walk to the store in about three minutes. It took FORTY MINUTES to get my sandwich and chips. Poor girl was the only one stuck with all the deliveries at lunch time. Paid the delivery fee and tip beforehand with the expectation that it would take 5-10 minutes as advertised. Called the store, no offer of some kind of discount or gift certificate. Very disappointed. Food was good, but certainly not worth that kind of wait. read more
