Finholm's has a lot of history in this neighborhood and there is a nearby sign where you can read up on some of it. Inside the store I wouldn't exactly call it a full fledged supermarket but there are plenty of snacky items and the beer selection is great! There are a lot of brands of beer that aren't commonly seen in the area so if you are into craft beer there is a lot to check out! But not only that they have beers on tap that you can enjoy as well and hang out there! There is a place that serves food inside. It's a waffle shop in which you can get sweet or savory waffles. That place has it's own Yelp entry and I will write a review for that in the near future. But definitely check out Finholm's and read up on it's history... it's pretty interesting!

You have to go inside and give the person behind the counter your pump and rewards number, then a prepay gas amount. They only charge you for your gas pumped. It's kind of a pain, but it's worth it for $1/gallon savings. Gas station was clean and staff friendly. They have a nice variety of snacks and even have a sub sandwich shop inside. And I'll do it again. The bagels are that good. Whether I'm calling it breakfast or lunch depends entirely on the day, but this is one of those places where I already know the trip is worth it before I leave the house. The line can be long and yes, sometimes they sell out. That's the risk you take. Consider it part of the experience. If the line is out the door, get in it. If they still have bagels when you make it to the front, congratulations.

It was such a bummer to not have it spread on and even more so because I didn't have a knife to spread it (we were traveling and I didn't know it was on the side so I didn't grab a knife from the place). The shoestring fries came in a big, generous heap with whole fried garlic cloves mixed in -- absolute genius. Simple, addictive, and exactly what you want with a burger. The burgers themselves are huge, properly seasoned, and sitting on some of the best buns I've had in a while. The house sauce is excellent; just know that any extra side sauces come with an upcharge.
