We rolled in about 30 minutes before closing, so the house-made onion rings and chowder were already off the menu (next time, those rings are mine). What we did get more than made up for it. The shoestring fries came in a big, generous heap with whole fried garlic cloves mixed in -- absolute genius. Simple, addictive, and exactly what you want with a burger. The burgers themselves are huge, properly seasoned, and sitting on some of the best buns I've had in a while. The house sauce is excellent; just know that any extra side sauces come with an upcharge. The prices are a little more expensive than normal lunch shops. Fair enough when the main product is this solid. The drink selection is impressive -- basically every beverage brand you can think of is stocked. Service was excellent even with the clock ticking down. We took everything to-go so we wouldn't hold up the closers, and one of the employees even gave us a solid recommendation for a breakfast café nearby for our next visit. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town. Those house-made onion rings have an appointment with me.

Netshed No. 9's location on the water - especially on such a bright and sunny day - provides a perfect PNW dining experience on their deck. My cup of clam chowder was enjoyable although the small cubes of potatoes outnumbered clams. The Chop Chop Chicken salad was lovely, especially the ample and freshly grilled chicken along with diced fresh tomatoes, blue cheese, hard salami, hard smoked mozzarella atop a bed of nicely dressed mixed greens. I'll state my personal preference for romaine lettuce but that did not deter me from being a member of the clean-plate club.
