Upside: All food was great! 2 prime rib (Thursday nite special) Ribeye steak, and I had the half chicken. Chicken is risky for me in restaurants, but this was seriously good, perfectly done and served up nicely. Downside: being billed as a higher end restaurant, getting saucers as bread plates is lame, and (personal peeve) there should be no dishes on the table when your check is delivered. Friendly service if a bit inconsistent, but we were in an indecisive mood (changing tables, taking phone calls) so I'm not holding that against them. We have been here many times. The last couple of times we've experienced extremely long wait times (as in over an hour from when we sit down to when food arrived) and spent over two hours eating dinner because of it. During the most recent visit, we waited over 30 minutes for drinks, another 15 minutes for our kids' apple juices, and never received water. They were also out of several menu options. One of these visits was to celebrate a family member's birthday and it felt like they struggled with the big table (12 people). By the time we got to dessert/singing happy birthday and opening presents, everyone including the birthday girl was tired and ready to leave. Prior to these most recent visits, we have loved the ambiance and food options for kids. I like the cocktails and flatbreads. Staff have always been very friendly. I just would not come here again with a big group to celebrate an occasion, we've had better luck coming for happy hour. read more

We came here for drinks and ended up buying food. The pretzel is a pretzel, but this guy is HUGE! We also got the cheese, melon, tomato and this was to die for! Our wings were perfectly cooked and coated with Korean BBQ sauce and garlic Parmesan. These are all to die for! What a cool space! We sat outside because we had a beautiful PNW day. We came with our newborn and they had this cool hammock type thing to hold the car seat instead of using an upside down high chair which was nice. Pretzel was delicious, we opted for more cheese instead of the mustard. My husband wasn't a fan of the flatbread. It was very thin. The burger was very good but the bacon was way too chewy. By the end of the meal, we were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We went out on a Friday date night specifically because I was able to use my Amex Resy credit. The experience started off a bit rough but ended up being a surprisingly good experience. To start, we were unfortunately seated next to the cleaning supplies in the corner. We also were a bit let down by the atmosphere as we went into this restaurant thinking it was fine dining. It was still a good atmosphere and decently intimate, but it was more of a family restaurant feel than upscale fine dining. We ordered a simple baguette with butter for the appetizer. This was definitely the worst part of the meal. The bread was honestly the worst bread I've ever eaten at a restaurant as it was incredibly stale and not even slightly warm. I even joked with the waitress when ordering it and was reassured that the bread was made fresh and that it was good. That was most definitely not the case. To give credit where it's due, the butter was surprisingly tasty but since the bread wasn't warm, it never had a chance to melt when I spread it on the bread. For the main course, we ordered the "Tahoma Burger", which was basically a bacon burger with apple slices (we requested that these were placed on the side) that went surprisingly well together, and the roasted chicken. The burger was exceptional and the chicken was very impressive, cooked perfectly, with a delicious sauce. I also ordered a Pecan Pie Old Fashioned which was very good. It even had a small slice of bacon in it which was off-putting at first but ended up making it the delicious drink that it was! For dessert, we had milk (a large mug) and cookies (3)! I've never had that for dessert at a restaurant before so that was a nice touch. A few asides: 1) I noticed they charge an additional $2.50 to "upgrade" your French fries to a side salad which I thought was a bit strange. 2) Their seasonal menu looked very enticing. 3) They didn't engage in any sneaky price inclusions in the bill which is always refreshing. We stopped in for trivia night and some food. I ordered the 8 ounch Tahoma burger with bacon and I was impressed with it andthe included french fries. I had no idea this place was so big with a large bar, games, bowling and conference rooms upstairs. They are fully ADA for those with handicaps like myself with lots of ADA parkung available right in front. The Tahoma burger was cooked exactly as ordered and the vacon on the burger was impressive. The Happy Hour menu looked worth a second visit, too. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Trivia night was a lot of fun but didn't yield a win for my team. I have been here many times with friends, since other people seem to like it. I have never found it particularly good, and in fact recently tried their Sunday Brunch. I had the Classic Eggs Benedict. The protein included some shaved mystery meat, which had a strange taste and a grey pallor to it. I do keep trying to like this place however, particularly with the limited dining choices in town. I ordered off the happy hour menu and got fish tacos and brussel sprouts - both were very good, fresh and flavorful. I also ordered a lemon drop martini and it was spot on. I am totally kicking myself for not eating here sooner. This is a great place with a nice open floor plan. Ashley and Bryan were our servers today and they were both personable, attentive and helped us to make the best meal choices for lunch today. They were spot on. I should have taken pictures of our meals , but we were so deep in conversation and I was too hungry! Our meal selections today for 3 of us were Seared Ahi with Soba noodles, great flavors. We had a side of Brussel sprouts that were cooked just right and some of the best fish in chips that I've had in the area. It was a deliciously tasty flaky cod with a great batter that wasn't greasy. The chips we chose were Parmesan and they were crispy just the way I like them. I will absolutely be back to try the Tahoma burger which looks great! read more

I thought this was a very nice social spot for ambience. It was quite the large crowd on a Friday evening. I had read some mixed reviews on their Tahoma burger so I was like OK. I like burgers my dad likes steak but he liked it burned. So I did not grow up eating steak so I always liked a nice juicy burger. This did not disappoint. Well, this will be a place we will come back to. I appreciate a new place when it opens. This definitely has a great following as was demonstrated by how many people were in the happy hour bar. A couple highlights for appetizer/dinner. The artichoke dip was fabulous. The loin steak isn't talked about much by other reviewers, but it ended up being a surprisingly much better than we anticipated. I had the fish and chips and if you're a Panko fan it would've been great, but for me it wasn't anything to write home about. Now about the service, we must've hit right between a bad time to arrive. Because even though our server, when he did make it to our table, was pleasant we had dry drinks and our appetizers took too long. Also our side salads didn't make it out till people behind us placed there order and some again noticed us. However a server named Mukam came into the bar and offered support for the overworked bartender. We finally were given the level of service that we needed. Mukam was attentive, responsive, and we appreciated that he kind of tried to remedy some of the delays that we had. I hadn't been to Table 47 in years. When they first opened, their food seemed eccentric and geared toward a yuppie crowd. However, I decided to give it another try years later, and we were pleasantly surprised. While the menu still features some unique dishes, it now feels more balanced. Given its location in a bowling alley, it made for a convenient dining option before bowling. The prices remain high, but the food was delicious. I had the falafel sandwich, my children enjoyed hamburgers, and my husband had the king salmon. The cocktails were also excellent, though expensive. This is the kind of place I'd visit for a special occasion, and I'd recommend it for that purpose. read more

The midweek perks are no joke--great discounts on food, half-off select wines, and live music with some incredibly talented instrumentalists. The atmosphere was lively but still cozy, and the service was top-notch. (Shoutout to Brian for checking in regularly, the chefs for delivering flavor-packed dishes, and the bartenders for crafting stunning cocktails.) We ordered a lot, and here are the highlights: Spiced Clementine Daiquiri - Hands down my favorite cocktail on the menu. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Brussels Sprouts - Best I've ever had. Crispy, well-seasoned, and elevated by tangy marinated onions. BLT Sliders - Surprisingly phenomenal. The aloe adds a bright, unexpected twist that makes them stand out. I usually don't expect sliders to blow me away, but these did. Pacific Cod Tacos - Light, flavorful, and delicious. Mini Pepperoni Flatbread - Good, but compared to everything else, it didn't quite hit the same high notes. Would probably skip it next time. Warm Marinated Olives - Not for me, but my friend was a fan. Winter Citrus Tart - Beautifully presented, but the flavor was off for us. Had an eggy taste that didn't quite land--definitely more savory than sweet. S'mores Tiramisu - Absolutely phenomenal. Easily the best I've ever had. Bonus: You don't even have to dine inside the restaurant to enjoy their food. If you're bowling, they'll bring it right to your lane. Super convenient and just as delicious. Yesterday was my birthday, and we went to celebrate. Wednesday May 27th at 4:30pm couldn't have been a better day/time. They weren't crowded, and the bartender/server Jason was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!! He honestly made the entire experience PERFECTION! He treated us like he'd known us for years. We paid attention... he treated every customer this way! He made a point of asking our names and introducing himself. He called us all by name the entire night! His bartending skills are next level. The place was clean and welcoming. Service was spectacular. The food was on point other than the very fishy tasting seared ahi which was really disappointing. Ahi should never taste or smell "fishy". Jason took it back with zero question and even brought amazing fries with fantastic dipping sauces as a snack to eat while I waited for the meal I ordered. I decided to go with the Cobb salad. It was fresh and tasty. We also had the brussel sprouts and the carrot appetizers which were OUT OF THIS WORLD kind of good. Our friends loved the steak and flat bread pizza. I've been going to table 47 on and off for several years now. I went for happy hour tonight and if it hadn't been for our absolutely wonderful server Madi, it would not have been so great. The happy hour menu has shrunk, quite a few less offerings. I used to order the olives, the brussels sprouts, and other items that can no longer be found on the happy hour menu. The fries used to always be my favorite and the first order came out lukewarm and had to be replaced. The second order was hot -- fries should be, but overly salty. I had to brush the salt off the fries. The highlight was the bread pudding, which was excellent and generous. And again a shout out to Madi who was very professional and friendly. Ok this is our review of Table47. I first want to start by saying we have been to Ocean5 maybe 10 times and have ordered food every time, so we knew what to expect from the kitchen well at least we thought.... We wanted to try Table47 for my wife's birthday. We arrived early 6 pm vs 6:30 pm for our reservation. We were ok sitting at the bar to have a drink if our table was not ready, but the hostess sat us down no issues. Cat was our server she was great, until I think the kitchen screw her over....here's what happen. We ordered the special lasagna and the coconut curry and a liter of wine...yes a litter... Wine was served and food ordered around 6:10 pm. Wife and I had good conversation and started to noticed tables around us that arrived after us get their food. Cat said our food should arrive shortly. We could see the kitchen was busy, didn't sweat it...until parties arriving, getting food, pay and leave, while we sat there...... I asked Cat where's our food we are getting hungry.... around 7 pm I saw Cat go speak with who I assumed was the "runner" the person that serves the food when its done. I can see him point to the screen and say something to Cat. Cat came over to us and said they are prepping our food and should be out soon. Lasagna is premade and heated when ordered, curry might be made on the spot but shouldn't take an hour. Our food came at 7:20 pm (1 hr and 10 min later) no explanation, we assumed the kitchen "lost" an electric ticket????? Curry was amazing, but the lasagna for $32 was not worth $12 bucks.... Top was over baked that the cheese was solid, Cat saw me struggle cutting it with the knife, I eventually removed the top off. It was not edible. I can see that frozen spinach was used and it was clumpy inside. Flavor meh...Dry, not much sauce. Disappointed...but my wife was happy with her curry so that was a small win. Overall I didn't expect to wait for over an hour for our food, and then the quality on the lasagna to be questionable. Cat was great did what she could but now I now why Table47 kitchen got an okay rating. We will consider other places in Gig Harbor next time vs table47. read more

Delicious catering for our micro wedding!! We couldn't have been happier with our choice. We actually ordered both lunch and dinner as pick up orders which made our wedding day so stress free. We got married on a boat in gig harbor and it was so easy to pick up our lunch of sandwiches and appetizers to take with us. After the boat ceremony, we picked up our buffet dinner which came with all the serving utensils, trays, and sternos needed to make set up at our family home so easy. Even after an hour long drive with the food the sternos heated everything back up perfectly. We had a Mediterranean buffet with chicken and falafel which was so delicious and ended up with lots of leftovers. Special thanks to Margot for being so responsive and easy to coordinate with. She helped us easily adjust the menu to fit everyone's dietary needs including gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian. All our guests were full and so happy. read more

This is our go to place for food in the area and I'm shocked to see some of these extreme negative reviews on here as we haven't had those experiences at all. We eat here literally once a week. Brian and the rest of the service staff are always friendly and the quality of food is on the higher end for the price. Specifically, their sandwiches are fancier than your typical middle tier restaurant, but are priced lower (around $19). So, a saavy person can easily get a higher quality meal for a fairly reasonable price if you do it right. Ultimately, I'm a picky eater, but my wife loves fancy food, so this is our easy place to go where we both get what we want without breaking the bank. When there have been even minor issues, they've comped us deserts or parts of our meal; often in scenarios where we didn't think it was even necessary. If you're from this area, you know how hard it is to find good, reliable restaurants. Table 47 is one of those, with a nice ambiance and good staff. read more

My boyfriend's company winter party was recently, and Table 47 was the dinner caterer for the evening. Their staff was really friendly and attentive at the event and the food was pretty good, too! They provided hors d'oeuvres during the first part of the party by walking around offering the small bites. We tried the crab cakes and the cheese puffs, both of which were really good. Personally, my favorite was the crab cake. Probably one of the best that I've had. The cheese puff was good, and the touch of balsamic on top was a great addition. For dinner, there was salad, mashed potatoes, rolls, and a choice of braised short ribs and salmon. I tried a small amount of each meat and my favorite was definitely the braised short ribs. Incredibly tender and lots of delicious flavor. The salmon was a little on the bland side, but still decent. We didn't indulge in dessert as we were way too full, but it was a mixture of cookies and brownies, all which looked pretty tasty. Definitely a solid catering team and delicious bites! Would love to visit their restaurant next time I'm in the Gig Harbor area. read more

Was visiting family for the holidays and stopped here on Christmas Eve (a notoriously difficult day for restaurants). Great venue and atmosphere. Got to sit near the fireplace which made for a lovely ambiance. Crispy shrimp appetizer was excellent. Good variety of cocktails, beer, and wine. Brian's service was attentive and well-timed.
