I have always loved Anthonys, no matter what part of the state we are in. Service, perfect, views of water and boats is always relaxing. And of course the best seafood you can get. Don't forget the clam chowder.

We dined here the Sunday before Christmas. Although we have always had good food and service at an Anthony's restaurant, this fell short. Our party of four ordered items typically very good. My hubby's scampi were overcooked and dry. My clam linguini had so much sand I had to send it back. Service was a little slow but not awful. The experience was just so-so. We probably will go to Bremerton the next time we are in the mood for Anthony's.

My godmother and I visited this restaurant on our recent Saturday out. I'd never been here before, but had heard good things about it. We sat outside because it was a beautiful day and our waitress was very nice. My only issue with her is that I could not tell if she were pregnant (which didn't matter), but her clothes didn't fit well and her whole stomach was hanging out. It was very weird to see. I don't even know if she noticed. Maybe that's just me being petty. She took our drink and appetizer orders right away and we got them within about 15 minutes. I ordered the crab and asparagus dip and my godmother ordered the fried calamari. Both arrived hot and delicious. They were so good! I also got strawberry lemonade which was kept full, so I really appreciated that. For mains we ordered the cioppino, which came with an extremely hard piece of bread and a salad, and seafood pasta. This is where the problem was. None of it was edible. When the waitress came back to bring our check, our plates looked the same way they did when she first set them down. My cioppino was cold! I was literally afraid to eat it because I was afraid I'd get food poisoning from the seafood. The salad was nothing special and was mainly lettuce and a tiny bit of dressing. My godmother did not like her pasta at all. She also said it was cold and it looked congealed on the plate. The waitress asked us if we wanted to-go boxes, but there was no way was I bringing any of that slop to my home! It's really weird how the appetizers were so good and the entrees were horrible. We will definitely go back because the appetizers were that good. But we'll just go for drinks and appetizers next time.

No doubt best restaurant in this old fishing town. The vibe at night of steel and glass and a hundred reflections off the bay was proper Seattle region. The open kitchen clanging pans and wine racks and fish print booths was classic old school. Go here on a first date. And a second. And a last. Take your visiting family. The prices on steak and seafood are high for Gig Harbor, but about half of what you'd pay in SF or Tahoe.

Another great experience at Anthony's! We came here to celebrate my 50th birthday. Made reservations online through Open Table. This time, we sat at a window table. Highly recommend requesting one when making a reservation. The window table has the best view, in my opinion. The elevated booths behind the window tables are nice as well, but there's nothing obstructing your view at the window. Love how the windows are slanted. Super cool effect! Love that they always offer a "fresh sheet" listing all their fresh seafood options for the day. It's offered at lunchtime as well, which is great for us. We ordered the blackened rockfish and sockeye salmon entrees. Both were spectacular! We also ordered the creme brulee cheesecake with fresh berries and berry sauce. So yummy! For my birthday, I was given a small chocolate sundae with a lit candle. So thoughtful and appreciated. Our server was Billy again. She is great, and I love dining in her section. I always feel special and well taken care of. Great food, service, and view! Highly recommend!

It was a special occasion visiting Anthony's for the first time, especially with my mum-in-law from France. We appreciated Jackson R R's friendly service, which made our experience memorable. The front could be warmer, but overall, the atmosphere was lovely. The patio had a stunning water view with calming sounds from birds, boats, and nature, making it a relaxing spot. We enjoyed good wine, a spicy Bloody Mary, and ordered calamari and mussels, which were very good. The highlight was the seasonal huckleberry ice cream with sauce for sharing. We had a great time and look forward to exploring more!

Great atmosphere and view is a huge draw. Excellent location for dates and special occasions. The oyster selection is fantastic. I went with the mixed tray and truly enjoyed it. For entrees (not pictured) the surf and turf with Scallops was good. Scallops were incredibly small and slightly over cooked. The steak was perfect. Side dishes were bland. I was not a fan of the potato - bread crumb combination did not work for me. The shrimp scampi was on the garlicky side. Not enough butter and salt. Shrimp was slightly tough but edible.

Made a reservation for lunch on our anniversary through Open Table. Requested to sit outdoors due to my auditory disability, and my request was granted. The outdoor seating offers lovely views of Gig Harbor and market umbrellas to keep you cool. The food was flavorful and delicious! A good variety of options are available, including starters, salads, entrees, and kids meals. We had Dungeness crab & artichoke dip, clam chowder, Northwest Salad, and fish & chips. All was delicious. The staff even had a card waiting on our table, wishing us a happy anniversary. Our server, Christian, was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend Anthony's for the food, the staff, and the beautiful views!

We gave dinner at Anthony's every time we're in the area to visit elderly relatives - they've been going here forever! Most of the tables are staggered up levels so everyone enjoys a view of the Sound - so lovely! The food isn't 5 star but consistently good continental seafood and a wide selection of entrees. We always enjoy their fish and chips, clam chowder, and pasta dishes. Service is considerate and attentive.

A few diners enjoyed the outside patio but some looked a bit chilly. Devoted kiss has excellent service. We were greeted right away and given water then we ordered: a piece of banana bread French toast with bacon (kid), the dkc biscuit-wich, and the corned beef (along with coffees for the adults and a milk for kid). They don't have a published kid menu but will make adjustments for kid meals (like our daughter's 1 piece of French toast). I think her meal ended up rung up about $10 plus $2.50 kids milk). Coffee came in large cups so we never ran out (they did refill periodically). A little wait for food which was within reason for how busy they were. We all loved our food. Our kid devoured her banana bread French toast and we both loved our meals. We did end up with take home boxes for leftovers (which I noticed a lot of people had!). I looked around and saw other diners with interesting meals that I wanted to try. When we were leaving a little later (maybe 9:45 am), there was a wait of probably 4 tables. Restaurant still busy. Bathrooms were clean, we parked on the street outside the restaurant but saw some people park a little farther and walk, restaurant buzzed with activity (a little noisy but within reason for number of people). This would be a nice spot to bring an out of town visitor to, if you can make it early or don't mind a wait. Food is worth it.

At that price, I expected a thick burger that would be cooked to order...something like you'd get in a steakhouse or a French restaurant. The burger comes with au jus, furthering that expectation. Burger showed up, torched through, completely brown all the way through. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she said 'oh, it's a smashburger, we can't cook it to medium rare'. Ok, well first of all $24 for a smashburger is nuts. No mention of that on the menu. If I want a smashburger, I'll pay $6-8 at a food truck. And second, why didn't you tell me that when you took my order for a medium-rare burger? I would have ordered something else. And the cup Au Jus was thicker than I expected, more like a sauce, rather than something to dip your burger in. Strange. Skip the $24 (smash)burger, get something else. Definitely would not recommend.
