I really like this place. The thin crust pizza is outstanding -- crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The sauce has a perfect balance of flavor that really makes the pizza stand out. The service has always been friendly and attentive as well. What surprised me most is the dining area. From the outside, you might not expect much, but once inside it's actually very comfortable and welcoming. It's a great spot to sit down, relax, and enjoy a meal. Called at 6:36 and ordered 3 pizzas for takeout. We were told 45 minutes. Got there about 7:20 and we were told at 7:27 that they JUST put our pizzas in, because they had a large party that recently came in. They had our number, why didn't they call. Then one pizza was burnt around the edges and looked unappetizing. We had 11 starving people so we ate most of it. But this was not a good experience. Just a word of warning about their pizzas. After getting takeout on three occasions, there were two consistencies. First, the pizzas all were very greasy with oil floating on the cheese which also made the pizzas soggy. Second, the pizzas looked like a bad pizza commercial with the cheese sliding off of the crust and the bottom of the box soaked with moisture. I'd attribute number two to the issues in number one. A pan style pizza with solid flavor. Dense chewy cheesey. It has a local, family dining vibe that I enjoyed.

We have been going to the Wanua location for a few years; it is always hit and miss with regard to the consistency and quality of the pizza. We order the same thing, every time and its rarely the same. Last night was the all time worst. Ordered extra cheese and half of the pizza had no cheese! It was undercooked to the point the dough was still cold in the middle. They seem to be challenged with keeping employees; maybe that's the problem. Whatever the issue, we won't be going back. I will make the drive into the harbor to pick up pizza we know will be good, rather than opt for the closer location that rarely provides a product worth eating. read more

I like Seabeck Pizza, to me the area is lacking in the pizza department and Seabeck makes one of the better pies available. I prefer this location, we are about equal distance between this one and the one in Port Orchard. To me the difference comes down to the crust, the SR302 site does a better job making sure the crust is done. It is nice and crispy, but not burnt, there is no doughy or under cooked middle or edges. I don't know if they have a better oven or better pizza makers; it's just better. It's possible the Port Orchard site does more takeout, they always seem slammed. Anyway, I'm on a low carb diet now, but as either a cheat day or a target weight reward, I'm pretty sure pizza will be on my mind and Seabeck will be high on my list. *NEW FAVORITE PIZZA JOINT!* Based on my first time of eating pizza from this place I have to say it was excellent! I have tried other local pizzerias but this one is at the top of the list so far! The crust was delicious, the ingredients were generous & fresh, which made for a perfect pizzas! (The only thing I would try next time is to get the thin crust because their regular crust is a bit thick like Chicago-style which is great but super filling /I prefer a thinner crust pizza). We ordered a regular pepperoni, a Hawaiian (with white sauce) and also a chicken Alfredo pizzas. Man these all had generous amounts of toppings and the Alfredo sauce was spot-on! And not only was the pizza really good but the staff was friendly and the prices are very reasonable! I would definitely recommend this pizza to anyone in the area... I know this was probably a bad timing thing. Showed up when their AC was on the fritz and they had poor ventilation to disburse heat in the building. Staff seemed to be able to put up with almost triple digit heat--but the owners really should consider training them to use the temp controls. read more

Family owned. Simply good pizza. We bought 3 home bake pies (Hawaiian, Veg, MeatLovers) 14" pies - each feeds 2 teenage boys. That's my rate of measure these days. Fresh. Not filled with preservatives (ty) makes for a quick, easy dinner. Thank you! read more

This place is awesome. Gavin was genuinely nice and had great customer service when presented with a new customer (me). He helped me make a perfect choice of a 12 inch the works pizza which was excellent hot and the next day for leftovers. The deep-dish doesn't make you feel bloated like other pizza places and everything is made in house that day, even the dough. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great too. Simple yet gives you the feeling your near the harbors which you are. They have sandwiches, salads, and even ice cream to boot. I will gladly come here again when I come back to visit from Texas. Wow, have ALWAYS been impressed with their meatball sub, so ordered a couple for p/u today, 15-20 mins, cool, had to go to Walt's anyway. Got there, asked me to wait in my vehicle, {old Chevy truck, no AC} 2o mins. later, lady shows up in lot w/ subs, said she dropped 1st ones. Well, OK.The meatball subs I've gotten there before were 4 good-sized balls, lots of mozz. peppers and sauce. What I got looked like a factory second from K-Nel Ration, NO meat, NO cheese, NO bueno. the pizza here is not bad, frankly I like it. but the service is horrendous! I ordered a pizza at 5pm, they said it would take 45 minutes. This is the second time I have had their pizza and impressed again. Meat lovers this time, a lot if sausages and pepperoni. The sauce is one of my favorites of all pizzas, nice tangy almost spicy tasting red sauce and plenty of it. I like thin and this stuff was good not paper thin like done with a nice taste. I used to order almost every weekend because the pizza, cheesy breadsticks, and chicken wings were so good. I ordered cheesy breadsticks and a chicken alfredo pizza today and was disappointed. The breadsticks were small, not a lot of cheese, and hard. The pizza crust was over cooked and there was hardly any sauce on the pizza. I won't be ordering any time soon. read more

This is a review of the service since we never got around to actually taking home a pizza. Went on a drive out to Lakebay on Tuesday, July 14th and decided to stop off at Seabeck Pizza along 302 on our way back and pick up a pizza to go. We had previously had one of their pizza's while in Seabeck last year and liked it. Walked in and was waited on by a young guy in his 20's who couldn't seem to get the order straight. I told him I wanted a 16" cheese pizza, half with mushrooms. He rang me up for a meat lovers pizza the first time, a pepperoni pizza the second time, and then finally what I asked for the third time. Each time he apologized for being out of it and never remembered being this bad. He told me it would take 20 minutes. I paid and went out to sit in the car with my wife and our dog for 20 plus minutes. When I went back in there was a second guy working (delivery guy back from a run) and another customer who was asking for a pizza that he had called in for pick-up 40 minutes earlier. The pizza wasn't ready and had not even been started. I asked about my pizza and the young man who took my order said he didn't remember the order. We talked a bit more and the delivery guy looked through the register and found my receipt. In the meantime a lady showed up to pick up an order which also wasn't ready. Since she had her kids in the car with her went back outside to wait. I told the delivery guy who was at the register that since my pizza had not been started I wanted a refund instead and did not want to spend another 20-25 minutes sitting out in the car waiting for a pizza that may or may not get made. He said that he didn't have the authority to give me a refund which had to be handled by the cook who originally took my order in person, denied I placed it, and never started it even though the receipt for the order, with my name on it, was found. The cook, who I realized later than I should have was under the influence of something, came out of the kitchen to the counter and after a few words did give me a refund which earned my one-star rating. The young man who was handling delivery, who located my order, and was trying to help the other two customers who were also missing their orders was doing the best he could and was very clear headed. I don't know who owns this franchise or business, but it is being run into the ground. We might have a Seabeck pizza again, but never at this location. On the way home we called Fondi's in Uptown Gig Harbor and order lasagne, bruschetta, and their sausage and mushroom pizza. Outstanding as always and ready to go within a couple minutes of our arrival. I highly recommend Fondi's. It will be worth the trip. read more
