There's a large parking lot but it's shared with Goodwill and all the other shops in the plaza so it can get pretty busy. When walking into Harvest, you pay for your party and wait until your number comes up. I came on a weekend during dinner time and although the waiting area was packed, it only took about 15 minutes. Inside, there's the main buffet area flanked by tons of seating. The food selection is pretty vast with an emphasis on Chinese food. You'll find something for everyone. There's a soda machine and tea selections for beverages. In terms of food, there's a lot. From what I remember, there was sushi, a Mongolian grill station (including steaks and eggs), noodle soup station, dim sum, pizza, typical Chinese food (fried rice, orange chicken, etc), roast beef, crab, fried foods, and desserts (cakes, creme brûlée, jello, ice cream, crepes, cotton candy, chocolate fountain). All in all, a really affordable buffet with vast seating.

Came in, and staff quickly takes care of you, great customer service from register to staff clearing plates. Nice that they ask if military as you will get a discount. The food selection was large and they have a noodle grill with plenty of option. The sushi was excellent, worth the price if you grab just these two options. The rest of the food was a 1 or 2 star depending on what you get. I was shocked how poor the actual Chinese food was. It was mushy, dry or just bland. The other options like pizza, pot roast or chicken looked ok too. Plenty of seating, just need to be willing to walk around and look in all the side rooms. There was a TV and the rooms were small enough that it kept down the main section noice that you can have a conversation. The drink bar was interesting, there were 2 on one side but the other side of the restaurant had to share 1.

Lines were relatively long when we got here around 6:20pm but went by very quickly as more people left. We got seated in one of many four-tops closest to the counter where the prime ribs were being made. Speaking of that, it was prime ribs day for $36.99 per person before tax for this visit. Regardless of that, the whole buffet is up for grabs once you pay. The general setup I saw from left to right - starting with your back to the front entrance - was the prime rib counter, Italian food, Asian food and a noodle bar. There's also a huge dessert bar just before all that food with a server who grabs any pastries you want from there. An ice cream dispenser can also be found around that bar. I ended up getting too much of some foods that I only went for two rounds of dishes; the proteins and desserts! Here's what I can remember from the food I got and didn't get: - The biggest portion of my dish was the prime ribs that were being served that day. The line for the ribs was really long, and servers and chefs took their time making sure the meat was at everyone's preferred meat level. Several large ribs cooked medium were already thrown onto the front so I grabbed one of those instead of waiting. So juicy, tender, and a ton of rich flavor that doesn't need any extra seasoning or even the mashed potatoes and other condiments at the prime rib counter! - The Peking duck was a highlight despite there not being many pieces with a ton of meat. The meat still had the skin left on it. - I grabbed myself a vanilla-chocolate swirl ice cream in a waffle cone. Both are very standard though I did enjoy how silky the consistency of the ice cream was. - The ube lime white chocolate brownie didn't have much of an ube taste and donned more of a cinnamon flavor... or maybe the cinnamon flavor covered the ube taste a little. This was still a really nice sweet though, and the lone server at the counter gave me more than enough pieces to share with my group. - The Shirley Temple whip cup tastes exactly like the drink but in whip cream form. Not my preferred sweet since it was too sweet. - The tiramisu was another favorite of mine. Creamy consistency mixed with the regular coffee-chocolate taste of tiramisu while not being as heavy as the rest of the desserts. Staff in general were very proactive in making sure we had a great time here. Our servers made sure we had enough water, and even gave us some options like soda or even a POG (passion fruit, orange and guava) drink that I should have gotten there given many other patrons got that drink as well! Those at the food counters kept lines going smoothly and I was satisfied after every one. I also left here feeling more than full. Food quality is at most above average, though I say my appetite was slightly heightened because of the overall bright and pseudo-fancy decor of being in a Las Vegas-like area - in this case, a casino with many bright lights that match the interior of this buffet.

For the price, the food was average. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing stood out either. What really impacted our experience was the service toward the end of our visit. Our reservation started at 5:45 PM, and we had until 7:45 PM. However, around 7:15 PM, a waitress began repeatedly staring at our table, making it feel like we were being rushed out before our allotted time was up. We were celebrating a birthday and hadn't even finished dessert, but the atmosphere became uncomfortable enough that we decided to leave early. Guests should be able to enjoy their full dining time without feeling pressured to leave. Overall, the experience didn't justify the cost, and unfortunately we wouldn't return.

Sushi, hibachi, seafood, dim sum, noodles, salads, American comfort food for the unadventurous -- it's all here. And then there's the monstrous dessert island in the center, stacked with cakes, ice cream, bubble waffles, fruit, a chocolate fountain, and more things than you can reasonably justify eating in one visit. The seating area looks like it could handle a small stadium crowd, yet the flow is shockingly smooth. Even with hundreds of people inside, the buffet lines never feel chaotic -- unless lobster or crab legs appear, at which point all laws of physics and courtesy temporarily stop applying. The one real weak spot is the bathrooms. It's obvious the staff focuses their energy on flipping tables and keeping the buffet spotless, because the restrooms don't get the same attention. They're not disastrous, but they're definitely the least polished part of the experience. Large parties and celebrations are almost always happening -- sometimes several at once -- but they're impressively non‑disruptive. It sounded like a great idea, so we set off to find it. It was cold evening, so when we walked in, we were happy the place was warm. Rows and rows of steam tables, a Mongolian grill, and a dessert area. It looked very interesting, so we grabbed plates and delved into a sea of families piling their plates with good food. As we came back to the table, we started to notice we were quite warm. We peeled off jackets and sat down to dig into our delights. Spring rolls, pot stickers, various prepared chicken dishes, some Mongolian creations all went down easily with great taste. Still, is just me or is it really warm in here? Yes, it is warm, I noticed as sweat trickled down the side of my Wife's face. The steam tables are so great in number that it makes for a slightly swampy warmth. Maybe the heater was on the fritz? No one else was really complaining about it. The food and service was good, for a buffet, and it hit the spot. Walking out into the night air without our jackets on was just heavenly though.

This custom was preserved in Sweden and gradually evolved into the Smörgåsbord (Scandinavian cold buffet), which is the direct and continuous ancestor of the modern buffet. · France (18th-19th century): The French adopted the word "Buffet" (originally meaning a sideboard or serving table) to describe this self‑service style of dining and promoted it among high society. · Perfection in Japan: The modern buffet model we know today--featuring cold dishes, hot dishes, desserts, and a wide variety of options--was established by the Imperial Hotel Tokyo in 1958. · Las Vegas: The now‑popular "all‑you‑can‑eat" model originated in Las Vegas, USA, in the 1940s. Casinos offered cheap or even free buffets to keep gamblers on the premises, a strategy that quickly became widespread. · Introduction to China: The buffet was introduced to China in the 1930s, initially appearing only in foreign‑funded hotels. It was not until the late 1980s that it reached the general public through tourist joint‑venture hotels. Here's the English translation of your review: Ambience: This buffet restaurant seems to have been around for a long time. You can tell it was quite luxurious about 10 years ago. Relatively speaking, it's still fairly clean. Taste: There is a huge variety of options, covering dozens of items including Chinese stir-fried dishes, Western food, Japanese cuisine, teppanyaki, fruit, seafood, salad, as well as drinks and ice cream. I mainly tried the Chinese stir-fried dishes, boiled shrimp, and teppanyaki. Considering the price per person, I think every item met my expectations. Service - unexpectedly good: From asking how many people in our party at the entrance, to guiding us to a table and asking if the seat was comfortable, to explaining the dining process, and clearing plates during the meal - all of it was very good. Room for improvement: Some of the items are pre-made dishes that only need simple deep-frying or grilling. Pre-made dishes can be categorized into a few types: easy to cook, easy to eat, easy to heat. Based on my experience in the industry, the essence of pre-made dishes is really an issue of trust. If the selection is done properly and customers don't experience any adverse reactions after eating, then it's a good business.
