Again, I had to go back to this store for my sandwich fix and found a hair in my sammie. Literally threw it up. Store needs to have employees wear hair nets. I order from here quite often and I think they do such a wonderful job. They seem to have added some staff in the back to help preparing sandwiches during busy times, and I rarely have to wait a couple minutes after the estimated ready time. Wanted to support during covid closeup so got subs for the whole family. Pretty much a mess. They were out of roast beef, but didn't tell me when I called in the order. So had to order something else and wait when I showed up, which kind of defeats the purpose of calling ahead. Two cold subs, both were good. But we also got two hot subs and both were really bad. Son got the cheesesteak and I got buffalo chicken. Neither of us finished them. The buffalo chicken had almost no sauce, and the chicken was a weird grey color and didn't particularly look, or taste, like chicken. I want to thank and compliment everyone who is working during this terrible time just so that we can enjoy take out food and make our quarantine time a little brighter. Your employees need to pay attention to the customer and NOT what their fellow employees are talking about. ie parties etc. I eat your sandwiches often but every time my gal brings it home it's different. I have been to this Jersey Mike's multiple times and it is consistently the best deli sandwich around! Jersey Mike's, in my opinion, makes a better sandwich than any of the other sandwich restaurants. I also believe that this store is managed very well and actually appreciate and value their customers. The staff is always courteous and attentive, the facility is always immaculately clean and the food is always made fresh! This is one of the rare deli shops that actually pays attention to every detailed request per sandwich and makes it perfect every time! I've never been disappointed with any errors when making my sandwiches. The deli meats and cheeses are always sliced per order (instead of the dreaded pre-cut/sometimes questionable bins) and the vegetables and toppings are always very fresh, vibrant and crisp (ie-not the browning butt lettuce and white/hard centered tomatoes...)! And their bread/rolls is the best! *I always like to try different sandwiches but always like my cold sandwiches done "Mike's way". I walked in and 15 people were inline waiting to be served. There were 4 people behind the counter but only one serving the line. Previously here there would be 3 people serving people one slicing, one handling veggies and one on the grill, this would increase production and provide better customer service. read more

Dont be fooled by their stale bread sandwiches - just get your own ingredients and save 30 minutes of time standing in line. Disappointed for the second time. First time ask to have one of the cold sub cooked and they said no they couldn't do that. I walked out. Disappointed. Second disappointment. I love a good sandwich, and Gig Harbor has been lacking a good sandwich place. I know some people don't like a "chain" restaurant, but I have no issues with Jersey Mike's. Ever since I discovered one years ago, it's been my go-to shop for a good, consistently tasty sandwich. I was a little wary the first time we went here, though. New locations of any restaurant tend to have some kinks to work out that make a visit less thank pleasant. I needn't have worried, though. The staff were friendly, someone (who I assume was the owner) was actively involved with making everything run smoothly, and we got our sandwich quickly. My only complaint is the arrangement of the store. When there is a line, about half of the seating becomes locked in by people and it can get a little claustrophobic. read more

The sandwich was perfect and I have to say, Jersey Mikes and Quiznos beats Subway and Jimmy Johns hands down, no competition there whci chains are best! let's just start this off as this was my family first time trying this place, the sandwich's were good, I really enjoyed them. however, the staff at this location are terrible. we were met with nothing but attitudes. the girl that was working the register was too busy talking to another employee and didn't even pay attention to us while we were trying to pay for our food. she had a huge attitude for no apparent reason and every customer after us was met with the same terrible attitude and scowl. it's like we were inconveniencing her for ordering food, she threw our sandwiches on the counter and wouldn't give us our drinks I just don't get it we did nothing to provoke that. the place was filthy, no clean tables, floor was sticky, food debris all over the floor, overall just a gross environment. This had probably the best italian sub in washington. The only one that compares is Tat's delicatessen in Seattle. I really dont know how anyone can compare this to Quiznos or subway unless they don't know a good sandwich when they are eating one. The only complaint i would have is that the dining facility was rather small. 6 tables inside, two tables outside. You know what I like best about Jersey Mike's? The staff. Someone has made it clear that the "kids" behind the counter will serve their clients with a smile and a lot of enthusiasm. It stands out over all the other fast food restaurants. That attitude is clear, consistent and therefore I know they've been well trained.
