Very close to expiration 1/14/25 ( day of purchase)

It's rare I pick up a candy bar from a gas station. This place REALLY needs to check their inventory because I wasn't about to sink my teeth is this damn near expired candy bar. I was already through the toll bridge or I would have turned around and told the guy to check his merchandise, all of it. So be careful what you purchase off the shelf here!

    Blt delicious!

It's Cheesy British Heaven. If you miss the old school hoagies that resided in 7-11's....this is your happy place.

Found the staff rude and inattentive. Refused to provide free compressed air for my vehicle.

They must bake crack into the bread. By far the best hoagie in town. At a Chevron station! Who knew!?!?

When we walked up to the checkout, the cashier and the employee bagging groceries were engaged in a conversation and laughing together. We completely understand that employees interact with one another, but once customers are at the register, they should feel acknowledged. Unfortunately, neither employee looked up, smiled, greeted us, or said a single word during the transaction. The only thing the cashier said was while handing me the receipt, and it was so quiet I couldn't even understand what was said. The lack of even basic acknowledgment made us feel like an interruption rather than valued customers. Metropolitan Market has always had a reputation for exceptional service, which is why this experience was so surprising and disappointing. I hope this was simply an isolated incident, but it's something management should be aware of.

They offer 2 types of cookies, chocolate chip and my favorite peanut butter cookie! I love that the PB cookie has both peanut butter chips and chopped Virginia peanuts in it and if you time it right their cookies are still warm like it is right out of the oven ! One of the best peanut butter cookies I've ever had! BTW My review is based solely on their freshly baked cookies.

Pictured are my favorite sandwiches (the monte cristo and nutty chicken) and the complimentary side I always get (Caprese skewers). I always enjoy a good Monte Cristo but this one is especially tasty thanks to that creamy and dreamy Brie cheese that pairs so well with the turkey and berry chutney! It tastes heavenly! The nutty chicken is unlike anything you'll find anywhere else- it's chicken teriyaki with dill, peanuts, pineapple, lettuce and tomato on swirled rye bread and while that may sound wild, it is called the nutty chicken after all and it's wildly delicious!! Unless you're deathly allergic to peanuts or anything different and exciting, you have to get this sandwich at least once. If you're one of the unadventurous nay-sayers I guess that's okay...I'm sure Bigfoot doesn't believe in you either :P The little caprese skewers you can get with the sandwiches are so stinkin' cute and yummy as well ! Such a nice healthy mini snack. They also make a mean Nutella Banana Sammich for the kiddos...when I'm out of Nutella or just too lazy to make it myself, I like to order those for my triplets Simon, Alvin and Theodore. In conclusion, this deli makes sandwiches that'll have you asking "where have you been all my life?!?" So what are you waiting for? Go try one, or two, or three of 'em for yourself ;)

WOW. Tacoma Boys might genuinely have the best grocery selection I've seen in Washington State…read more The quality AND the pricing are what really got me. The produce section is incredible, the meat selection might be the best I've seen at a grocery store, and somehow the prices are still surprisingly reasonable for the quality and variety they carry. And it just keeps going. Fresh florals, pumpkins and seasonal finds, specialty groceries, pantry staples and seemingly every random thing you suddenly decide you need once you're inside. This is absolutely the kind of place where you walk in needing three things and end up wandering every aisle because there's something else worth looking at. The store itself is also one of the nicest grocery stores I've shopped in from an organization and presentation standpoint. Everything is beautifully shelved, easy to navigate and thoughtfully laid out, so even with the insane amount of product, it never feels chaotic or overwhelming. The shopping flow is SO good. The staff is also TOP TIER. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful, which somehow made an already impressive first visit even better. If you actually enjoy grocery shopping or cooking, good luck leaving quickly. And they're open 24 hours?! Being able to get genuinely great produce, quality meat, fresh flowers and specialty groceries at literally any hour is kind of insane. Honestly, I feel dumb for grocery shopping anywhere else, especially living in Tacoma. Tacoma Boys may have just redefined what a 5-star grocery store looks like for me. 5/5. No notes.
