The pickled veg and fresh cilantro with amazingly juicy turkey...I got about twenty feet from the front door, sat down and gobbled that thing down. The croissant is so flakey and perfect the floor around me was a mess. Sorry to the floor sweepers. I loaded up on two Almond Croissants for home as well. They have loads of other great food stuffs and their selection of specialty meats, huge loaves of sour dough bread, fresh mushrooms and kombucha satisfies anyone looking for something produced within 20 miles of where you live. The gal at record shop referred us to Good S. G. for great sandwich's& soup, etc. So we went over and was pleasantly greeted by this cheery ray of sunshine. We took one look into the fresh baked goods case and knew we found out lunch spot! Fresh sweet pastries and sandwiches. There were only 3-4 left but it was like after 1:00 and a popular spot. We chose the Italian on sourdough to try the famous bread and bigger to share. The soup was cream of mushroom one of our fav's so we got a bowl to share as well. Sweetheart Barb accommodated our order nicely to share and eat there at a table in the common area. The bread incredible texture, each component of the Sammie made for a magical combination. The soup flavorful and creamy in a lighter way. Together a delicious duo, exactly what we wanted for a tasty satisfying light lunch. So popular that their highly recommended pasta salad is sold out today. And on Tuesdays and Thursdays, they offer homemade soup. Today's soup was sold out and they recommended coming back on Thursday to try their loaded baked potato soup. I will certainly stop by for a visit when I'm in the Port Orchard area. Thanks ladies!

We're accustomed to a little drizzle but when the drips from the umbrellas turned into river tributaries and the thunder resumed our bedraggled party moved inside and asked for accommodations. Then the lights flickered and the power went out. Tables we're moved, extra chairs found, and a generator kicked in. We were reseated after a reasonable wait (again crowded night), and our food found us. All handled with aplomb by the slightly frazzled staff. Thanks for keeping our mini-reunion humming despite minor deck flooding and other weather chaos.

Expired hot sauce three times now!…read more I was here a few months back and their hot sauce bottle had green clumps in it... they gave me a new bottle which was nice, but I came back today and once again, they had green clumps in their franks red hot... I asked the waiter for a replacement and he brought me ANOTHER bottle that was mostly full, however it had the green clumps in it too! Its best by date was back in July... Im not sure how theyre storing these things but ive been using franks red hot for years and never see green clumps in it. On top of all that, the waiter brings me his ipad for me to pay, and after I pay he sets the ipad down right in front of me with the minimum tip being 20%... I felt kind of uncomfortable knowing he is staring behind me, I changed the tip to 10% and said thanks and he walked away without even responding. Holy water please take a look at your hot sauce and change the minimum tip to something lower, you shouldn't participate in the toxic tipping culture that puts the onus on your patrons to pay your workers 20 percent as a minimum.
