Early this morning he power went out by 1;00 they said it would be out until 5:30. With everyone home today we had to venture out to get food, break up the monotony, and recharge. I'm not sure of his name, but today the only worker there was super nice and even though he got called in on his day off, he took care of us. Service was 100% on par or above. My family was grateful and glad they were open. It saved us from the cold and hunger. Con- ice machine out and a few items not available But we got to warm up and grab a tasty bit.

Talk about convenient and tasty. The deli here hits the spot! Ending my trip from Olympic national…read morePark, I honestly just needed to use the restroom and saw that this place has good reviews for the deli. So I popped in. Best decision ever. I ordered a cold sandwich, The Eagle. I almost ordered the Sammy pastrami for a hot sandwich as recommended by the woman taking my order. The eagle is fantastic! It's on a sourdough bread with a cranberry sauce and sliced turkey deli meat. The cranberry sauce is a cream base and is extremely tasty without being too powerful. I added on bacon and Dijon mustard along with dill pickles. The turkey is perfect and juicy. I was afraid it would be dry, but nope, they know what they're doing here. All the flavors go really well together, even when I added on. And the bread is moist, it didn't quite taste like a sourdough, maybe it was a little bit more of a white bread, sourdough, but it was really good. If my sandwich is this good, I can only imagine how good the recommended sandwich is! The lady who took my order was nice and patient with me and I appreciate that. And she remembered who I was so when she called my sandwich, she basically tossed it at me! In a good way. Only negative thing I can say is the Line situation was a little confusing, but that's really more about the patrons waiting to order or not order or just make up their mind. Walking around the market, they have a lot of options for local snacks and beverages, especially beer. I highly recommend stopping in.!

This one dandy local sandwich shop located in an off the beaten path marina between Bremerton and Poulsbo. Service is tops! Or at least it was this Sunday when we stopped to see if all the great reviews had any merit. Yup! Box checked. Food: my wife and I split the Harbor Master. The best roast beef on a bagel that I have ever been served...bar none no excuses. Ambience: there isn't a theme. I call it subsistence sandwich shop in an obscure marina ambience! And, it's perfect. If you are in Poulsbo, Silverdale or Bremerton around lunchtime you will do well to find this spot and you might well find me there trying the Rueben that I can't wait to try.

Nothing fancy but certainly gets the job done, we loved the mom and pop feel at the heart of this little marina. If you're looking for a nice spot with a wonderful breeze to enjoy your lunch look no further. There is a beautiful pavilion with hanging baskets full of summer annuals that offers plenty of seating and shade. There are also additional scattered picnic benches around the property, a few bench swings to enjoy and they keep a water bowl filled for on leash fur friends. Couldn't find the menu online but had full intention of ordering two sandwiches for lunch. With a glance of the menu I quickly realized Saturday and Sunday are all day biscuits and gravy! Being a house specialty I HAD to try them and for inquiring minds they DO make the biscuits in house. We also tried the Harbor Master; roast beef, swiss, red onion on an everything bagel and special sauce served with a kosher dill pickle. I'd forgotten to ask 'for carry out' so when our plates arrived I asked the gal if she minded if I carried them down to the pavillion to eat outside to which she responded 'so long as you bring them back' with a smile. We really enjoyed both meals, the biscuits were definitely fresh and fluffy, the gravy wasn't as thick as I would like but it had a nice kick of heat to it which was really good. The sandwich was fantastic, the everything bagel and special sauce really made it unique. When I was returning my dishes a man approached and offered to take them for me. With sunglasses on and beer in hand he looked like a customer. I had no idea who he was until he asked for my name and introduced himself as the owner, Dave, enjoying a day off in the sun :) Super friendly and genuine, we chatted a bit before he headed down the pier likely to spend the afternoon boating. He also made sure to recommend the reuben when he welcomed us back for our next visit. Since this is not far from our place I can't wait to spend more afternoons down at the beach with our pup. This is certainly the home to many regulars and I can absolutely see why! My only comment here is that the sandwiches are a bit on the pricey side for what you get but that won't deter me from coming back.

Pictured are my favorite sandwiches (the monte cristo and nutty chicken) and the complimentary side I always get (Caprese skewers). I always enjoy a good Monte Cristo but this one is especially tasty thanks to that creamy and dreamy Brie cheese that pairs so well with the turkey and berry chutney! It tastes heavenly! The nutty chicken is unlike anything you'll find anywhere else- it's chicken teriyaki with dill, peanuts, pineapple, lettuce and tomato on swirled rye bread and while that may sound wild, it is called the nutty chicken after all and it's wildly delicious!! Unless you're deathly allergic to peanuts or anything different and exciting, you have to get this sandwich at least once. If you're one of the unadventurous nay-sayers I guess that's okay...I'm sure Bigfoot doesn't believe in you either :P The little caprese skewers you can get with the sandwiches are so stinkin' cute and yummy as well ! Such a nice healthy mini snack. They also make a mean Nutella Banana Sammich for the kiddos...when I'm out of Nutella or just too lazy to make it myself, I like to order those for my triplets Simon, Alvin and Theodore. In conclusion, this deli makes sandwiches that'll have you asking "where have you been all my life?!?" So what are you waiting for? Go try one, or two, or three of 'em for yourself ;)

Everything on it went together perfectly. The tarragon aioli goes crazy, the roast pork is fantastic, I was worried I might be put off by the cider slaw but it's all extremely well-balanced. Worth noting it's not a huge sandwich but still maybe the best I've had on the island - really has a unique and craveable flavor. The pastrami was a bit of a letdown - better than other options on the island but just a little too heavy on the sauerkraut IMO, it was almost unpalatably sour. The pastrami itself was interesting, it seemed a lot like thick-cut beef bacon as opposed to what I would normally expect it to be like texturally - wasn't bad though. The seasoning on the meat and sandwich seemed a little inconsistent, some bites were very salty, some were a little bland. Not terrible but not great. If it was just a restaurant I might rate it a little lower but for what it is I was pretty impressed. I like the fact their sandwich menu is very short and sweet. Lots of cool little artisan food things for sale, they sell Via Rosa noodles and sauce as well as a nice little selection of fancy salts and things. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're a Bainbridge food fan.
