Testing the limits of my CTA sanity, I decided to trek out to the ONE Target store that had a particular item. Yes, folks, I ventured out to what used to be the Brickyard Mall. The mall is gone, but a developer did a great job of putting in a decent mix of stores which includes a Jimmy Johns. This has to be one of the nicest locations I've visited: clean, super friendly, fast and really pleasant in that they don't blast the Kid Rock at 160 decibels from the moment you walk in. Seriously, it's my biggest pet peeve why I don't eat at other JJ's--the loud music is a total turn off for those of us with our hearing still intact and wishing to remain that way. Oh, and this location is a dollar cheaper than the downtown locations I frequent. Kudos to this store; thanks for being such great peeps! read more

Sorry Robert, but this one is the location at Harlem Avenue and just north of North Avenue, not the one in the Brickyard Mall. Although I am a huge fan of JJ's - I eat the Slim One at least once a week, the "so fast you'll freak" only applies to dine in. We live extremely close and decided to test this claim the other night. Well, 30 minutes later they show up with the clim one, chips and a cookie. Did you bake the cookie before coming? Our chinese delivery full of items comes faster than that, and they are a few blocks further. I literally could have walked there and back faster than that, so no, I will not "freak" and next time I will just get in my car and get my fix. read more

Yup and yup...Ordinarily i'm not a huge JJ fan but after a chinese takeout debacle that resulted in an almost two hour wait with nothing to show for it these guys really came through. I love this place! Come here at least twice a week before work. Always get treated great and they remember my order every single time... Maybe because I'm handsome. Always got to remember the handsome guys order. Nice clean place, bathrooms are clean, and the Coca cola tastes delicious. Freaky fast and I enjoy the music. I go to a Jimmy Johns once or twice a week for lunch. You walk in and you're greeted by the team with a welcome hello. I like the sandwiches because they are consistent, fresh, & just the right amount of the right ingredients. I like to eat healthy and just have tap water with the sandwich. The soda, cookies, and chips take away from that plus just add calories. The interior is clean and the music playing helps enjoy my time while I eat my lunch. Seeing as Yelp deleted my last review for some reason, I will re-post! This is still my Jimmy John's of choice....friendly people, easy parking, great Unwiches! I've also catered from them a few times now and the platters always look great, arrive on time, and no soggy sandwiches. Those sandwiches were clearly made mere minutes before delivery. If you are out shopping or working out in the Brickyard stop in and check this place out....you won't regret it. read more

Incredibly awesome team here. I asked them if they had a spare pen because I had some paperwork I needed to sign; I just moved to the area and had all my stuff in boxes in some warehouse. The guy came with my delicious, delicious, delicious sandwich and a spare pen in 15 minutes. So nice, so friendly, so great. Jimmy johns, folks! The only chain that doesn't act like one. read more

Friendly people and great sandwiches. I go there quite often. I do think they overcharged me once. I bought couple loafs of french bread, some sandwiches, chips and drinks for a group of people. Everything good except the bread was I believe close to $2 a piece. Didn't notice until later. The sign says yesterday's bread 50 cents. Either they overcharged me or sold me fresh bread for more. I'd expect at least a question "We're out of yesterday's bread would you like to buy fresh one for $2 a piece?" read more

Worse service ever for delivery I place my order at 4:25pm and I had to call them back at 5:05pm the girl that answer the phone said my food was on the way she said is way to much traffic I sad ok I assume they got lost or they totally forgot to place my order because I live literally less than 5 min away driving wise the time right now it's 5:20pm while I'm writing this review I'm still waiting for my food this is ridiculous crazy !! read more

I don't comment much on Yelp, but I felt the need to for this specific location. I've visited this JJ a handful of times over the last few weeks. Every time my experience has been consistent. I am greeted by multiple workers as I enter. Everyone is friendly and smiling and seem to enjoy working here. They are extremely fast as well. Today in particular, my sandwich was ready before my debit card chip ran through. Great job to the leaders of this team! read more

Careful ordering over the phone at this location. After paying over the phone by credit card with whom I was told is the Franchise Owner (Carmen), hours later Chase bank informed me of several fraudulent attempts of online purchases to my card. I immediately called the location with request to speak to a manager to advise he/she of their staff's wrong doing. Unfortunately for me, the "manager" seemed unbothered by the situation of my call and by his tone, wanted to end the call as quickly as possible. Although I have paid over the phone to my local Jimmy John's without ANY problems or concerns, this is a lesson learned moving forward. Never once did I get an apology of any sort AND I'M THE CUSTOMER! Needless to say, the shift manager can use a refresher course on how to professionally handle such a sensitive situation because this could have quickly turned into a legal matter. Thanks CHASE.
