This is great comfort food, for sure. I had the Gyros sandwich and an order of cheese fries. The Gyros sandwich was very good, tender and a nice degree of onions and sauce. Cheese fries were awesome, I mean come on, look at the loads of cheese! Cannot say no to a once in a while basket of fries. Their menu is big and full of amazing offers. All of their meals here are reasonable and fair. You can absolutely order anything you want without reaching your limit and breaking your pockets. They can really help you to save a lot of money while eating delicious and quality foods. Very convenient spot. Their staff here is very friendly, helpful, decent, and professional. They all know how to treat their customers so well and do their job properly. They are professional and well-trained. All of them are good and can talk to customers properly. Great customer service. Between work appointments had to host a luncheon @ a Physicians office close to this location. Terry at the counter was very sweet and made the inexpensive order for 6 really quick. This review is based upon the service. Mr. Sub is a must for late night food in our family. We had a long drive home from Missouri and saw the "OPEN" sign at this location. My father pulled up in the parking spot and the young lady who works there locked the door on us. They close at 12am on Thursday. It was only 11:55pm. Are the workers not capable of whipping together three subs? Honestly, I felt disrespected. She could have had the dignity to open the door and politely say we are closed. Instead, she was shaking her head "no" and smiling as my father was making a fool out of himself trying to pry open the door. I was really looking forward to having a sub. Never going to the Mr. Submarine in Cicero ever again. THE RUDEST chicks work there! Went today (9/22/2016 at 4pm). We were given dirty looks as soon as we walked through the door. I ordered two sandwiches, fries, a drink, and two other sides. When I asked for my drink, they told me it was too late to order one... but I thought I had already ordered one? And when is it too late to order something? Just ring me up again. Not so hard. Left the place and didn't have my mozz sticks. Didn't have my fries. Had to go back and still didn't get my fries. That chick was trembling with so much rage. It was CLEAR that she didn't want to be there and she honestly made us feel like shit. She AND the chick making the subs. Never again... Well, nothing except the whimsical posters advertising the side orders of junk food--e.g., a jalapeno popper in a sombrero, captioned, "No, you can't have maracas with your order." First of all they got my order wrong and were very slow and my pizza puff was burnt. Usually good but new worker M*ria was very rude when all I did was call and explain that they gave me the wrong sandwich she talked to me like I had no business questioning her and pretty much hung up on me. I ordered a regular ham and turkey sub meal. I almost didn't buy anything because something just wasn't right with the cashier. I put my suspicions to the side and bought the sandwich anyway.
