Wow! I've been wanting to try this place for 2 weeks, since I heard about it. I can't believe they don't have a line down the block. Every bit as good as D'Amatos on Grand. I ordered the 12" inch Mob and it did not disappoint. My only complaint is this, I'm a Cop and I hate seeing anti Law Enforcement signs, I wish they'd rethink posting the anti Law Enforcement sign. I found this place during the Albany Park taste of flavors. We went back for lunch & loved it. We decided to order the sandwiches for our block party. They were great! I just had it today earlier in the day before the thunderstorm came again. I didn't want to drive all the way to west town or more towards the south side for Italian sandwiches and so I looked up the northside and found this gem and I ordered two sandwiches, I got the MOB and the prosciutto sandwiches and OMG I won't be driving far no more towards the south side I'll stay here near the northside right on montrose and kedzie for there amazing Italian subs !! Just got a fan now . I recommend it in a perfect nice multi- cultured neighborhood full of many different foods around this neighborhood amazing gems here . Truly delicious Italian subs and paninis. Honestly, this little spot could compete with any of the well known Italian deli's like D'amato and Bari, etc! Very fresh, crisp veggies and great meats and cheeses, great bread. I do wish they had a couple side dishes other than chips. Friendly service. Clean but decor is kinda funny. I got the M.O.B. sandwich - hot capicola, volpi genoa salami, hard salami, mortadela, provolone, giardiniera It was a tasty, clean sandwich. Perfectly layered meats. Needs more veggies. The bread was fine; it wasn't dry but didn't impress either. Cashier was very nice and helpful. There's a few seats but it's really a carryout spot. Simple, easy go-to lunch spot. read more

Everything was fresh and well balanced, and although it wasn't reinventing anything, it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. I'll definitely order again. We also had 2 of their 12" subs and yhey were both huge and delicious. Soft chewy bread, a SanPeligrino and Iced coffee rounded out the meal. Nino the proprietor was friendly and positive. They nailed it, the meat, cheese, bread, veggies are all top quality and fresh and the hand prep every sandwich with the classic condiment combo to order.
