Loved this place! Not super big, but they do have parking in front. They did a great job with both their sweet and savory food options. Coffee was a little stronger than I like it, but they had different creamer options. Service was friendly.

Simply delicious. Love that there is parking outside in lot in front. Fantastic service. Professional and attentive. And the food was incredible. The best waffle I have ever had. Period. And the chilaquiles was so yummy and had great spice. Would definitely go back and try many more dishes. My whole family loved! Inside was super cute with grinch Christmas theme with a nice Instagram photo wall spot.

These waffles are truly one of a kind- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of flavor. I always look forward to them whenever I visit. The sea salt caramel ice cream is a standout too absolutely delicious, like a perfect "chef's kiss." The service is consistently excellent, and the ambiance has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay a while.

Food was very good, great service, Karina was amazing and funny. Little pricey but hey, how it is sometimes.

This place is SOLID - excellent for brunch. The namesake Churro Waffle is a MUST on your visit. This is a belated review of a visit at noon on a Saturday in late April: Located in a small shopping plaza, it's not much on the outside, but - big pro for me - boasts a parking lot. Inside is a family-friendly more modern diner-esque (but slightly more crowded) vibe. There was a bit of a wait for a table for 4 on Saturday - nothing too long though. And yes, the wait was well worth it. I'm a savory brunch lover - so much so I usually forgo the sweets which can be too much for me, unless it's a well-done combo. The Bacon Waffle (substituted in Churro Waffle) with the Sea Salt Caramel Ice Cream on the side (so it wouldn't get soggy and I could control the ratio) was a PEFRECT BLEND OF SAVORY AND SWEET and will definitely have me coming back when I'm next in the area. Besides my beloved Bacon Waffle, we ordered the Chicken Churro Waffle, Steak Fajita Bowl, Eggs Benedict, Lox Benedict, Carnitas Benedict, and Hibiscus Lemonade (sweet and refreshing), and a Horchata Iced Coffee (very good)! Everything was delicious (only complaint was the friend who ordered Carnitas Benedict said it was a bit overpowering a flavor for the egg / hollandaise) - and the service was quick, kind, and able to easily accommodate requests and substitutions. Definitely a rock-solid brunch choice - highly recommend!

Round two at The Churro Waffle and I tried the Lox Benedict. Super tasty! My husband got the chicken churro waffle but said it wasn't as fresh as last time. It has extra pizzazz with a purple flower though! They're currently decorated for spring/Easter and it looks super cute!

It's official, I'm breaking up with Churro Waffle. I used to come here once 2-3 times a month but their prices have gotten so out of control, it has gone beyond what is reasonable. The suddenly jump in prices in a couple of months is so weird. On my most recent visit, our meal came out to over $60. The same meal that used to cost less than $40 and included coffee. I could understand blanket rising of prices but to raise the price and then charge $4 for ingredients that used to be included is beyond me. They have literally lost all sense of reality. Inflation is a real thing. But to give less food, less options, and charge 33% more. It just doesn't seem sustainable. Condiments like sour cream used to be and additional $.75 and now it's $2. When I used to go to Churro, it would be jam packed. We'd have to wait in the car to waiting for a table to open up and it was worth it. I went last Sunday and it was unseasonably warm... perfect brunching weather. The restaurant was half full and I think I know why. With the prices being upped so high, it just makes sense to go to a nicer restaurant. The prices are the same, food is better, and ambiance is perfect. Churro, I hope management really tries to turn this place around because I really enjoyed it for a couple of years.

Who doesnt love CHURROS?!? Better yet, how about a CHURRO WAFFLE?!? They've has put a DELICIOUS spin on the traditional waffle and made a churro into a brunch and breakfast favorite!!! They have other flavors such as OREO - with Oreo Crumbles, caramel sauce, cookies n cream ice cream or their BACON CHURRO WAFFLE - hickory smoked bacon, bacon, bacon and more bacon! Additionally they have omelettes, paninis, and breakfast bowls and burritos!!! Check them out!!!

I had the single cheeseburger and it lived up to the hype. I learned that the single burger is actually a double and the double is actually a triple. I was recommended to add an egg and bacon to the burger and I'm glad I did. Each bite was a glorious burst of flavor. The bacon is epic. Thick juicy slices. The cheeseburger was perfect. I didn't need additional condiments and that never happens for me. The fries were good too and came with a delicious aioli. For beverages, I loved my Arnold Palmer. I also tried a cocktail--the Long Island Iced Coffee. It was pretty strong. I added a shot of bourbon cream to it and that sweetened it up and made it perfect for me. Unfortunately, I didn't have room for dessert. Cute restaurant. Cozy inside. They have an outdoor patio as well. If you don't have a reservation, be prepared to wait. Excellent food. Excellent service. Jennifer took great care of me and made great suggestions. It's pricy but it's worth it.

The process of getting seated through a busy period, and the service throughout was excellent. But as often happens with me, the food didn't live up to the hype. My wife and I were picking up my brother and his son from O'Hare at around 10 am on a Saturday. We had dinner plans with our uncle, but had not planned anything in between. The flight came in on time, and once confirmed we all had the time, my brother suggested going to Chicago to try Au Cheval. He knew about their location LV, but none of us had tried their original location in Chicago. So we drove into Chicago, arriving at the restaurant at 11 (it opens at 10am). There was a check-in stand set-up outside, where someone was taking names/phone numbers to put on the waiting list. We were quoted a 45 minute wait, and got the text to hurry back after about 30 minutes. There was a line to put your name down on the list, so we skipped that by going right in. The friendly hostess seated us in a booth, with a nice view of the kitchen where they were making the burgers in mass. The waitress explained that a single burger meant two patties (each patty is 4 oz, so basically a half pound burger), and a double meaning three. My brother and his son both ordered a double cheeseburger ($19.99 each), and I got a single with added sunny side up egg ($21.48). I wanted my wife to be able to take a bite, so asked for everything to be on the side (sauce, dill pickle slices, and grilled onion bits). We also ordered french fries ($8.99), cooked in duck fat. In the meanwhile, followed a fellow yelpers suggestion and got two Allagash Whites ($9 each) for me and my nephew. It's a really good beer that I've had many times during happy hour, and goes great with rich, greasy food. My wife got something else: the General Janes Chicken, which is their version of Korean Fried Chicken ($24.98). She enjoyed it (the coating was still crispy, and the sauce had that pronounced kochujang flavor that we like). Everything is a la carte here (except for the complementary pickle spear with burgers), so she shared in the ordered fries. Food came out together and was served hot. There is a mandatory 3.25% surcharge, and payment is taken at the table. As mentioned, service was excellent throughout. To be honest, I'm not the right person to judge a burger like this (I like it backyard style, with a lot of lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles...and mayo/ketchup). But my brother and nephew are (they have tried many, many burgers all across the world, and don't like too much toppings on their burger), and they said the burger was just OK for them. I liked the frites (cooked in duck fat)...very light in color, but still crispy on the outside. However, nobody else really ate them, saying they weren't great. It's unusual for me to be the least critical after dining, but I'm sure it had something to do with the observation that I didn't have to pay for it (since it was my brother's treat).
