Some places don't want your business. Been coming to this spot for over 10 years. Mostly for a sub but tried other things as time went on. My pops however loves their subs, he's elderly and I try to watch his sodium so it's not an everyday type thing. Still stop by at least twice a month and treat the old man and friends. Always happy to support and tell others about the really good local spots. Thats what makes the local spots the real gems of our communities we can literally walk to them. The high cost of produce and groceries keep rising and it might be more expensive to buy those ingredients and provide the same level of quality. But the cost of respect and appreciation towards your loyal customers hasn't, and it shouldn't! Throughout the years I felt the quality had been declining but my old man loved them so I kept coming back. Neighbors would ask why I keep getting the subs and would all say the same thing "used to be good". Service has never been amazing, but I don't think expect it to, I'm just here for a sub. It tells me more about the owners/managers than I need to know. When the employees talk out loud about personal issues with equipment being busted or things being held together with duct tape don't exactly scream out safety, quality, or freshness. Even then I can get past it. When I see a business like this whose quality has declined, whose employees are aloof and allowed to treat the preparation and sanitation of food in such an unprofessional manner......Well, that tells me more about how you feel toward me as a customer. Maybe you're bigger than my favorite little sub shop that I used to tell everyone about. Maybe you don't need my dollars, or maybe I didn't spend enough to be treated with respect, I should've spent more. Either way it's obvious, you don't need my money. Got sick, Saturday, June 20, 2026, Bob-Bo-Rinos, I always liked buying food at this restaurant. That Saturday is, and will be, my last day at Rob-bo-rinos; after finishing my meal, I started feeling weak and a bit dizzy, and felt like I needed to get to my bed as soon as possible. I woke up at 1 am with an urgent need to go to the bathroom and had a stomach ache, severe diarrhea, my hands started going numb, and I felt like I needed to rush to the emergency room because the numbness was so severe. While sitting on the toilet with diarrhea, I tried shaking my hands, but the numbness wouldn't go away. I got up from the toilet to see if I could shake off the numbness in my hands, but unfortunately, the nausea wouldn't let me stay on my feet; I had diarrhea again and felt like vomiting. Finally, I vomited--what an incredibly unpleasant and painful experience: diarrhea, nausea, numbness in my hands, and vomiting all at the same time. I thought I was going to die at that moment. After two hours in the bathroom, I returned to bed, fearing I would have to use it again, but I didn't. I was left only with weakness and the unpleasant experience of the meal. When I first entered the restaurant, I saw a police officer and many people sitting and waiting for food. Then, another police officer arrived. So, like everyone else, we were waiting a long time. Then, after a while, a man and woman entered the restaurant and went directly to where they were preparing the food. And the man had no gloves, was touching his nose, and I was worried. But I never thought about the consequences of how I felt starting at 1 am on Sunday. read more

I've been a regular customer for past 20 years and the business has been going down in recent years. I ordered 4 subs and 2 were done improperly. They asked. me to drive back for one & asked if I could come back another day due to poor weather conditions. They said no because they needed to see the sub to make another one. The only option is apparently DoorDash, there's a link on Bob-O-Rinos website. I won't be doing that again. Everything is marked up and three sandwiches and four orders of fries was $56 after a 15% tip. The sandwiches were good. I had the American, my husband had the Italian. I ordered hot peppers on his and he didn't get any. I don't know if that's on Bob or if it's on DoorDash but that's annoying because it's 50 cents more. The bread was perfect, definitely a nice base for the sub. The coldcuts were definitely great quality. We also had cheese fries which were good. I liked my sandwich but if I have to pay that much more to get sandwiches delivered, I'll likely choose other options without such a steep markup and fees for delivery.
