Do not go to the store I went there for an oil change the manager Francisco C. Was working on my vehicle at this time I was not able to sit in the store because of the coronavirus so I was outside pretty much watching the whole thing about Five minutes into him working on the job I heard is extremely loud bang and then I heard a tool drop at that point the other employee kneels down and looks at him and I'm waiting for a response (this is when the store manager begins to tell her that this part was already broken when he broke it an asked her don't say anything tell the customer to come over here) I could tell something fishy or wasn't right going on because of the long pause of the other employee Calista she had a ghost white face on her and her eyes are bugged out like she obviously knew something was going on I was waiting for her to look at me again it was about 5 to 10 seconds later she comes over and says the manager would like to talk to you as I approach the vehicle he begins to inform me that there is a part of my vehicle broken prior to coming to the shop The oil pan was approximately less than 2 feet away from the sensor he was using a prybar about 2 feet long to unscrew the oil bolt to release the oilI that's when I question his integrity because of the loud noise I asked what was the loud noise I drop my tool he began to show me the part broken and I question the broke part where the break was actually happened was a clean break freshly black plastic it also had gears inside of this sensor had zero dirt or debris inside I live in Benson Arizona it took me an hour To get to Tucson in that whole time I saw no - light on the dash I had no problems with the vehicle again he begins to tell me this happen before he got to the shop And he had already been working on the vehicle for five minutes or so and didn't see the part until he broke it ? I said that's impossible I would've had a dash light on or somethings telling me about the sensor then I begin to ask him why doesn't he just admit he did it and put a claim in he begins to tell me he did not want to lose his yearly bonus or his non-claim bonus or whatever that is he is a liar and a cheat this place is not OK to go to and he's asked His employee to lie for him when she was there the whole time her name is Calista I filed a report they have denied the claim I am now taking them to small claims court and I've already reported this to the Arizona Attorney General's office this is a franchise these people should not be working it was straight fraud because he wanted to protect his own neck at the cost of my expense and we're going to court and when the part is examined and the person questioned this will all come to light soon shortly but until then do not go to the store at all they are not trustworthy nor do they tell the truth read more

This review is for the distinguished Jiffy lube on 3839 E.Speedway Blvd, Tucson, Arizona 85712. I have a faily new car and the last place that I had the oil changed was at a dealership in San Diego. They were extremely incompetent and they left the oil drain plug loose and all the oil came out and the drain plug fell out. My fairly new engine could have ceased. Because of Armando Nava, the manager, and the service technician Ragnard, my engine was saved. They were knowledgeable, helpful, prompt, friendly, and very empathy of my situation. They carefully pushed my vehicle into the bay, without starting the car, to not damage the engine. They put a brand new drain plug, the type of oil that I wanted and replaced the oil filter. They even went the extra mile of cleaning the oil sprayed on the under carriage of the car, due to the oil drain plug falling out; and they also gave me an extra drain plug just in case. I heard the drain plug fall out and hit my passenger side rim as it came off, a block before I pulled into the jiffy lube. I didn't know what that noise was back then, but thinking about it; the noise was medal hitting my rim. Thank god for the timing and Jiffy lube; because if else, my fairly new car would have ceased and would have needed a new engine. There was no damage to the engine, I had it checked out, because it was caught on time by Jiffy lube. This type of dilligent, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, prompt and caring customer service is none existent these days. It is very seldom that a group of people will treat you as if they really cared!!.They have my business for life. I will not go any were else for an oil change. I drive a service truck all over town so I buy gas wherever I'm at when it runs out, I get into the nearest Jiffy Lube whenever I'm low on oil, I figure it's time for an oil change anyway. I go to most of them throughout town as I'm closest to them at the time I need service. Ever since I met the tatted manager, who's real name is Richard, I feel like getting the truck serviced at his store is a treat in many ways, it cost the same as at any other store, but at this store, customer service always far outweighs the standard lip service. Richard and his staff understand, practice and work to the highest level of customer satisfaction. I have never had a problem from any of the Jiffy Lubes I go to, but if I did encounter an issue, I'd hope it would be at this store as I know it would be a non issue and quickly resolved with Richards involvement. And like the comment below mine states, I go there for an oil change, but if Richard ever left I really would drive across town just to go to his new store. He may not be the owner but he treats customers as if he were. He is always the professional and sets the standard of customer service that others should learn from and emulate. Oil is oil, I go there for the highest level of service which is the norm when Richard and his team are on duty. I would suggest promoting him, but sadly, Tucson would lose the best manager in town at any of the numerous Jiffy Lubes. Perhaps your corporate offices should consider having anyone training to be a manager to train under him to learn the right way to treat people. He is the reason I love going to the Speedway store. My review is FOR THIS LOCATION SPECIFICALLY. I deal with the manager that other posts have referred to as the "tatted manager" and will only leave my car when he is there. Should he ever move on to another place, my patronage will go with him and you should disregard this endorsement. (I have had bad experiences at Jiffy Lube, this manager will make sure you are well taken care of). Most visits are seamless as they should be, but (like can happen anywhere) an issue recently arose with my car that was not my fault and most car-repair places would have told me was my problem. Richard, the "tatted up" manager, helped me out and fixed the situation being courteous and apologetic throughout the interaction. I recommend this place, but if Richard isn't there then what I recommend is you keep driving to another oil change location. read more

I've been going to this Jiffy Lube location for over 10 years, there's been a few times that I was frustrated with the service on my car, Being a woman it's hard to figure out if they're just trying to make a sale or if you really need a filter or an engine flush etc.. Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised to see a woman in the uniform, I definitely felt better meeting Ruby the Asst Manager!! She assured me I would be taken care of and that I would never have to guess if I really needed something, she had great customer service and really put my mind at ease. With one phone call, the manager I spoke to listened with professionalism and genuine concern. A Grease Monkey manager down the street was spreading false rumors, and claiming that Jiffy Lube uses false advertising and pricing to trick customers. When I was done explaining my situation, the Jiffy Lube manager not only honored an online ad but she never once bad mouthed their competitors and took care of my vehicle promptly and efficiently. Awesome people quality work and do everything right. I go to jiffy lube even though I can change my oil at home, since they are fast and reliable. Last time I went they asked me if I wanted to redo my oil change since I was worried the last oil change was too fast and my oil was dripping, due to a 5 year old gasket, and replaced everything I needed for free! The gasket is my fault for not replacing it. If you are to go to any jiffy lube head over to the one on speedway. They are the best. So far it has been one of my best experiences at Jiffy Lube. I was doing a cross-country roadtrip and needed an oil change in Tucson. Since I stayed at LaQuinta Reid Park, this was the closest jiffy lube around the area. The employee was very friendly and informative. They went thru the list with me and explained everything I needed to know about my car. The service was very fast. I was there about 20 mins and my car was ready for me. Went in today for a basic oil change and had great service. Miguel escorted me out of my truck making sure the door didn't hit any walls. From there I dealt with a young lady with a great hair cut. She told me I needed a new filter of some type (I am automotively challenged). I declined with zero pressure. 2 things could have been better, but not enough to take stars away. 1. Dreading this errand, I waited until my boyfriend was in town to escort me to get my oil changed...on my 1987 Honda that has been falling apart in the last 2 years (quite rapidly). I always go to jiffy lube for my oil change every 3 or 4 thousand miles. I usually go to one closer to my side of town but I happened to be in the area and found this location. I can honestly say that I will be going to the speedway and Alvernon jiffy lube from now on. The service was top notch and the coffee was actually hot. not stale and old (which I usually expect). The speedway store is always a good quick stop if you have time to maintenance your vehicles. They are fast and the service is friendly.
