DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! I went there on 6/7 to get an oil change because the usual location was closed since it was Sunday. It was a quick service, but could've led to a much bigger issue. My husband went to check my transmission oil and notice that the box holding my air filter was slightly open on one side and one of the latches was off. This could have unfiltered air, dust, or debris going into my engine! I go to my mechanic to look at it and he notes that whoever looked at my air filter did not put it back correctly, so when they tried to close the box and latch it, the latch broke off. He was able to properly put the air filter in place, AND HE FOUND THE BROKEN LATCH IN THE HOOD OF MY CAR!! So whoever broke it off intentionally DID NOT DISCLOSE THEY BROKE IT and probably could not see where it fell and assumed it was gone. Quality service is not done here!! DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Oil Change on Sunday! The staff did a great job - in and out! 1st attempt: at 12:45pm, I was told to come back as they were at lunch and would return within 45min 2nd attempt: 1:30pm, I was second in line as they were half way done with someone who had arrived during the time they would have been at lunch? The staff who helped check my vehicle in and perform the oil change was very friendly, informative and speedy! My oil change was done and I was on my way by 2:20pm. They did a clean job and everything is running great Previously, I had stopped coming to this location (a year prior) as every time I would get an oil change they would spill the oil all over the engine causing my vehicle to smoke for a little bit as I drove around burning it off. I took my 2012 rav4 in to get an oil change. After paying I began to drive home my check engine and auto lsd warning lights came on and the car began to preform poorly. I checked under the hood and saw that when the technicians removed my air filters, in hopes to upsell me with new filters, they did not properly reinstall the filters leaving a hose unhooked from the filter assembly causing the engine troubles. If this mistake had not been caught early and the engine allowed to draw unfiltered air the car could have been seriously damaged. in addition to the engine troubles I had also found that the employees had incorrectly reassembled my glove compartment causing another thing for me to fix. The lack of care and harm done in order to upsell air filters leaves me incredibly frustrated and upset. I would highly recommend against anyone coming to this location for any kind of maintenance. read more

Went back the next day and they admitted it was their fault but did not offer to pay for any repair and told me i need to get a new oil pan replacement. I went there and paid for a relatively high-priced oil change; once finished I noticed ancillary services were not done at all, most importantly coolant check. When I pointed out the coolant, I was told they'd address it but I checked later and nothing was done. Further my dipstick was quite dry and that is scary. What can I say accept DON'T bring your vehicle to this place. We had been here before for an oil change and they did a good job, but this time, they lost us as customers. We brought in our truck for an oil change, they suggested a radiator flush and we said okay, $130 later our heater stopped working and the engine started overheating in just a month. I called and Juston the manager now mind you this was a couple of days before overheating and he told me to bring it in so he could see what was wrong with the heater. FF to last night my husband just makes it home with the truck overheating . We checked the radiator reservoir and it was empty. We put a gallon in and lo and behold my heater started working and it's not overheating anymore. I called Juston again he gave me a whole song and dance and then proceeded to give me the GM David's phone number. Needless to say our conversation went nowhere and back so please don't waste your money in this place. read more

I took my as new 2016 passenger vehicle in for an oil change. Shorty after the service, a large volume of oil had leaked out onto our driveway, causing a huge mess. Took the car back to this establishment for a leak check, and upon arrival I was treated poorly by their lead agent Louis Nolasco, and he made me wait over 25 minutes while he took service orders and let other vehicles that came after my arrival in before proceeding to put my vehicle in the queue. The lead agent did not apologize nor explain what was happening to my vehicle during or after the service and that's when a mechanic handed the key back to me saying that there was no leak, when there clearly was a leak onto our driveway. I watched the mechanics work on my vehicle the whole time, and they did nothing to fix the leaking oil from my vehicle. I ended up raising my voice to the lead agent because of his lack of customer service etiquette plus inadequate level of communication skills demonstrated towards me, and to make things even worse Nolasco proceeded to accuse me of video recording on the premises when no such action was taken (but maybe I should have) and then he had the nerve to lecture me on the legality of recording someone without consent? What planet is this guy on? He also did not show any sign of apology nor did he take any responsibility for their error when they had clearly messed things up and wasted my valuable time this weekend. If he was working for me I'd fire him on the spot for being so self serving and/or arrogant towards their customer. I will never take my vehicle to Jiffy Lube for service ever again. Have been a loyal customer for many years prior but NO MORE!. If you would like your driveway to look like this, then by all means go get your oil changed here asap! read more

NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION This is the first review I've ever done, this jiffy lube is the worst place I have ever been. Workers used wrong tools and got a tube stuck in my transmission for 2 hours. Have no further details on it. This delayed my oil change to 3 hours and they still charged me nearly $300 for engine and transmission oil change. Came in for a regular oil change. My 2019 Honda Accord showed my oil at 5% so when I came in I expected them to do a typical oil change and fill the oil. They charged me 127$ for an oil change and a cabin air filter change and sent me on my way. I went to a different oil change place because my car wasn't responding as it would after a fresh oil change, they checked my oil levels with a dipstick and Jiffy Lube shorted me of 1 quart of oil. They also reset my settings in my car to show as my oil levels at 100%. I demanded a refund and showed proof with pictures of the dipstick, and the district and general manager both said I would not be reimbursed. When I asked the district manager over the phone who was above him that I could speak to he said "nobody". Scummy people, scummy company. read more

Today I took my car to have an oil changer, one person took my car and I gave him my car key and house key, when they returned it I was missing my house key. Nobody really took responsibility if loosing my key. One young man was looking around but the person who returned my car and the key just ignored me. Do their mistake took me to change my house key and instal a security alarm due that they have my address and my key. So, I don't recomen them due to the lack of care. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. They screwed up a simple oil change, the manager Jorge was difficult and LIED to me. I ended up going to Goodyear where they showed us how Jiffy Lube messed up. Waste of time and money. I've been getting my oil changed at Jiffy Lube for a while but this was my first time at the Sunnyvale location. We all know Jiffy Lube isn't about the customer service, it's about getting the oil change done quickly and correctly. I got my oil changed on 10/22/18 and the experience was normal. We left the car sitting at home that weekend and did not drive it. It wasn't until Monday morning that we saw the large puddle of new oil under my car. We laid some new cardboard down and checked overnight again to see if the car was really leaking - it was. My husband checked the oil and noticed that it was half gone.. (note I had my oil changed a week ago, didn't drive it on the weekend, and drive about 16 miles a day). My husband also looked under the car and noticed oil everywhere, both on the ground and spilled all over the bottom of the car. It was clear they did a very sloppy job. He specifically noticed oil dripping down the sides of the engine oil filter and pooling in a drip at the bottom. It was evident that Jiffy Lube had messed something up. Our hunch was they did not tighten the oil filter all the way, or that the seal could be damaged. Thinking this would be a simple go tell Jiffy Lube and they'll fix it task, I was their first customer Tuesday morning. I told them what was wrong and after taking in my car for about 10 minutes, the manager Jorge told me they ran my car and looked under it and it wasn't leaking. He told me he noticed the filter wasn't cleaned properly and the oil wasn't full so they topped it off for me. I told him there was a leak and asked for a brand new oil change to be sure. I did not want to come back AGAIN since they didn't fix anything. He told me they could do an oil change but they'd have to CHARGE ME AGAIN since there was nothing wrong... I asked if there wasn't a leak why was there oil missing? He couldn't give me an answer but still refused to give me a new oil change. I asked him to talk to my husband on the phone and after that he said "fine we'll do it but if it leaks again we aren't doing it again". They took my car in for another 15 minutes and said it was done. We looked under my car and noticed they had written a date in the filter this time but it was obvious they did not change the filter (the serial number was the same..) And the next day we noticed the same leak. We watched it over the weekdays to make sure it wasn't residue from the first oil change where they made a mess of everything, and over the few days we noticed the filter got dirty again (because obviously there's a leak.. not a fast and full leak, but one that just slowly drips.. hence why looking at my car for 10 minutes didn't show anything). We took my car to Goodyear explaining the leak. They took my car in and reported the following: oil leaks were coming from the oil filter and drain plug, and they identified that there was no gasket on the drain plug. Goodyear did a brand new oil change and my car has been leak free since. This tells me that 1. The first oil change from Jiffy Lube was erroneous and they didn't do it right. 2. The second oil change was fake and they did not do a full service oil change when Jorge had said they would (in the rudest manner). 3. The fact that Goodyear was able to find the issue, and do a new oil change and my car has NO issues now tells me Jiffy Lube in Sunnyvale is full of poor technical skills, lies, and a word that starts with S and ends in T. read more

I've been to this Jiffy Lube a year ago, and know how they operate. One year ago, I got an oil change here, along with a few other items. I have a 1998 stick shift Honda Civic with 173,000 miles on it, and know it inside and out, and what service it needs, and what service has been done. I keep the engine clean covering the distributor, while washing the hoses and engine block of dust and grime, using my garden hose. This lengthens the life of the hoses, by preventing them from getting brittle, and helps keep the car running cool, without overheating. Lately the car has been burning about a quart of oil every 3,000 miles, so I bring it in on Wednesday afternoon at 430pm. Oil change plus oil filter change goes for $39, but with the coupon from being on their e-mail list, I get it for $27. Nobody waiting in front of me, and I ask if they can rotate the tires, as the front driver tire seems a little low, and I've put in some air the other day. They look at the tires, and says it doesn't need rotating, as the tires are near new, with no excessive wear on the front tires. They go over the car with a 17 point inspection, drain the old oil, and replace the filter -you don't want to try doing this yourself, as the car has an engine cover on the bottom, and you can't see the oil filter without a mirror, mounted in very tight quarters, typical Honda style. They also top off the radiator, as it is a little low Meanwhile I'm checking out that Julia Dreyfus lady from Seinfeld in their GQ magazine making love sans clothes with a clown, in the waiting room. A man's place! Ok, the other magazine is some gossip magazine for the ladies. 10 minutes later, and $27 poorer, I'm out of there, with a vaccumed interior, and shiny spotless windows as part of the deal. I'll be back in May, 2015, or when I burn off another quart of oil, for their free top off service. When I get home, I open the hood and check the oil level and the caps on the radiator and oil. Went on two separate occasions and they have had 0 cars in the shop being worked on. When I request an oil change the guy says that they are out of stock on the oil filter (super common car btw) and mind you this is all within 5 seconds of the request and without asking any info on the car (model, year and so forth). Same thing happens over a week later. When I inquire about speaking to a manager he states the doesn't know the manager's last name or phone/email. Then says I can double check on the filter, now we might have it. It's clear he is saying this so they don't have to do any work and just get paid to hang out.
