Had a Screw in my tire , got denied from the spot across the street from Goodwill near downtown , then i remembered the spot with the parrots off of fair oaks , went there half hour before closing , and they took me in with open arms, they were very nice and friendly and fair pricing as well . if they were open on the weekends i would even get my oil changed here and let them do other kind of mechanical work too but they are only open monday thru friday till 6pm, and i have to work but you should definetley get your tires here or let the fix your flats if you need a trustworthy place to go to read more

I've been seeing this auto tire shop for years; ever since I was a kid. I never thought I'd ever come here for anything but turns out, I needed something today. I had two nails stuck in my rear tire and needed my tire to be patched up. Most of the time when coming to a mechanic's shop, there is already some cars ahead in line or appointments but Tomas, the owner, took his time and worked on my tire while working on another SUV. At first he was "iffy" about maybe having me come back but he knew he was able to fix this in a jiffy, so he set aside maybe 15 mins to fix my tire! I'd like to give him a huge thank you for doing this. It literally took him less than 20 mins from start to finish to patch up my tire. For $20, this was defiantly worth it. This place is family-friendly and a great auto shop within the Sunnyvale community. Tomas provides excellent customer service and is straight to the point. He makes sure you come first. If you're at this shop, take the time to look around and check out his amazing bird/parrot collection. They're all colorful and the noises they make, create this jungle or tropical atmosphere. Highly recommend it for tire repair. Repair Right Rear Tire with Nail in it; it took them 20 minutes (including wait time). It has been about a week, and no issues have been noted. They provided not only efficient service but also great price ($33 including tax)!! Although it is free to get the repair at Costco (under warranty), you have to leave the car there for a day for urgent matters. The appointment at Costco tire center is fully booked for tire installation, balance, etc. Overall, I like the tire repair service at Godinez Tire! Got 2 tires mounted and balanced today- off the car. I brought it in with my 11 year old carried it to them for service. I tried to pay for the service before it was completed and the guy at the register refused it. He said we have to wait just Incase something comes up. About 25 minutes later he charged me $77.52 for the service and I asked why so much more than before which was less than $25 per tire- he said prices have changed. It makes sense why he didn't let me pay before hand because he knew I would have refused the service. Be careful with the guy with long white hair and glasses. Back right tire was making noise from a screw stuck in the tire sticking out. Ugh, never fun. Came by without an appointment and they saw me within 10 minutes or so. The pulled out the screw and said it was too short to do any damage. They sprayed soapy water to double check there was no leak. I've been here a few times for small tire repairs and to get tires. As I did today period I was told $390 out the door for 2 new tires for my Honda. When I got back to the shop to pick it up 3 hours later, he told me It's gonna be more if I use my debit or credit card. They neglected to tell me that cash was the price and then I would have to pay more using a card. I have a handicap and I can't walk around trying to find an ATM to pay them cash. I would expect since its their fault that they would honor the cash price. But they didn't, so even though id like to give them more stars and a better review, Something like this really irks me. They scratched my rims but are telling me it couldnt have been them because they have this protection they use while putting new tires and doing the alignment wich im not arguing because i didnt take pictures of my rims before they touched them but i also noticed all four of my wheels are scratched up on the lug nuts holes and the guy told me that was normal couldnt be avoided and they cant deny they did that because my car verly has 13000 miles even the guy in the front desk wit the glasses told me that my car was in great condition because it is dam near still new this is the first time i take all of the tires off and i noe they weren't scratched atleast not on the lug nuts wich they say is normal well i guess ima take the loss but hope this review helps others be prepared take pictures of ur rims or if this happens to anyone else please let me noe so i can have some type of evidence since i dint take pictures and now I regret that did all this to save $200 but next time will rather pay more an read more

Be prepared to be hit with a pandemic price of $30 for a simple tire leak fix that took less than 10min. They kept me waiting for 30min before addressing it though. I've been bringing my car here for five years now and never had an issue with the work they do. They are very professional, honest, hardworking people and are very reasonable with their prices. They charge $25 for an oil change for 4-cylinder vehicles. Recently, my car overheated and I had to get towed to their shop on a Sunday afternoon. They conveniently have a key drop off system for after hours located near the hangar door. On Monday morning I got a call from their main mechanic, Manuel, and explained that my radiator had cracked and was in need of a new one. He needed my verbal authorization to proceed with fixing my car. He was able to fix my car the same day and received the call to pick it up that evening. Brought my Acura in for a simple tire repair since one of my tires picked up a nail and was slowly losing air everyday. Basic repair cost only $20, which is a fair price. Tomas was careful not to damage my aftermarket wheel. I'm especially wary because any scratches to the black finish will be easily noticed. He also took the time to mark the exact position of the tire and wheel to avoid having to rebalance after remounting. Tire was refilled to 40 psi and wheel torqued to 80 ft-lbs. Four stars for good service and a fair price, but they didn't ask if I had any preferences with regards to tire pressure or torque specs. Personally, I run a lot lower psi and a little less torque on the lug nuts. Btw, I asked about the birds hanging out at the garage. Apparently the owner grew up on a farm and the birds remind him of his childhood. read more

This morning I got an alert of an under inflated left rear tire when I was driving down on 280 South. My office is not far from these guys so I went there to check it out after I read their Yelp reviews. The lady at the front desk was very nice. All the guys who work at the shop were having lunch, so she asked me to wait or come back later. I decided to wait and, even though it was a relatively long wait (about 30 minutes), I did not mind because I got there at noon and respect the fact that they had just sat down to eat. Tomas was the one who helped me out. My car's computer had already alerted me that the problem was in the left rear tire, but he checked all tires anyway, as I expected. He found the nail right away and got it fixed in about 15 minutes. The tire was patched up and it cost $20. The shop was organized and Tomas did a great job marking the tire to make sure it was put back in the same position and also being careful not to scratch my wheel.
