Incredible customer service! I scheduled an appointment due to my TPM sensor not going off after applying air to the tires. Came in today and was told how all 4 sensors needed to be replaced and my front tires needed to be replaced. Alex helped me out so much with being able to get all 4 sensors, and to get my two front tires replaced! I had never received incredible customer service at a tire/auto shop ever! This place does not upcharge at all and they genuinely care for their customers! I'll definitely be returning back if I ever have any issues with my car. Thanks again Alex! read more

Had an appointment scheduled weeks out to get a punctured tire patched -- rear passenger side. Simple job. Show up on time and the rep (Robert) immediately says he won't repair it. I push back and ask him specifically which puncture is actually causing the leak. He starts checking and finds out the one near the sidewall isn't even the issue -- it's the other punctures. So now the original reason to refuse goes out the window. Then he pivots. Goes over to my front driver side tire -- completely different axle, opposite corner of the car -- and says he won't service my vehicle because of the condition of that tire. Points to a specific line in their internal policy: "2/32 Inches or Less." I read it right there in front of him. That row describes what they can and can't do with a tire that IS itself at 2/32" -- it says nothing about refusing to patch a completely separate tire on a different axle. He misapplied his own policy. Also worth noting: that same policy line has a green checkmark under "Inflate" -- meaning by their own chart they'd inflate a 2/32" tire but won't touch a perfectly separate tire on the other side of the car. Make it make sense. I asked him to put the refusal and the reason in writing. Wouldn't do it. Just kept pointing at the policy -- the same one that doesn't actually back up what he was saying. And here's the part that gets me -- if it's a safety issue, why'd you let me drive off? No waiver, no documentation, nothing. Just sent me on my way with the puncture still in the tire and the "unsafe" tire still on the car. That's not a safety call, that's a sales call. Posting the policy photo so you can read it yourself. Filed a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. If this sounds familiar at this location, you can do the same at bar.ca.gov. read more

America's Tire is a great family business that is trustworthy. We frequently choose this business for tires and appreciate the straightforward service and their sole focus on tires. It reminds me of other family run businesses like In and Out and Chick fil A where you're valued as a customer, the prices are always fair, and the quality & service stands out. First time at this Mountain View location for tire rotation and it was relatively quick as we had an appointment. read more

I usually like America's tires and I was looking forward to getting my new tires. Unfortunately they put my rear tires on my front (staggered setup) and not only damaged my new tires, but potentially my car. I went here to get new tires but unfortunately had to have my car towed back within an hour of leaving. Fortunately I'm aware of my tire setup but had I not been it would have been really dangerous. So until they reassure me that this would never happen again unfortunately I have to leave a once star review due to the danger this created. I understand mistakes happen, but a mistake like this could be catastrophic. Be careful if you come here with a staggered setup or a sports Updated to two stars since America's tires did own up to the mistake and filed a claim for any damage to my car. I appreciate their honesty and transparency post incident, but unfortunately nothing will give me back the time I lost from this. I hope their process improves and I wish the best for their business and customers, but I do not plan on coming back after this incident. Side note, I talked to my friends in the car community and they have had similar incidents specifically with America's tires: wrong wheel installed in the front and damage to their vehicle. They were also able to file a claim and work with America's tires, but it is something to be aware of. read more

So much for tightening lugs in a star pattern. Watched as I waited for my truck and saw probably a dozen cars with lugs fully torqued on one at a time as they are out on. Amazing. Never again this location. read more

Came here after my tire pressure lost 10 psi overnight and they were super helpful! I called right when the opened and Jose was great- he was able to check into my account and see that I purchased tires with them before and therefore could qualify for the warranty/repair. He set me up for an appointment on the same day and within an hour they were able to repair my tire!! Great experience. read more

Do not do business with this shop. I went in specifically for a simple tire rotation that they confirmed they could do. Once I actually arrived and waited, they completely went back on their word, refused to perform the service, and tried to aggressively upsell me on buying a brand-new set of tires instead. Unprofessional, dishonest, and a complete waste of time. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I hit a pothole the night before and came in to the tire shop at opening time this past Saturday, as appointments were unavailable at the last-minute. Alex helped me almost immediately, and I was quoted an hour or less wait time (it ended up only taking 30 minutes). I had a warranty and knew the drill, so the process was easy peasy... staff inspected the tire at my car, checked if the tire was in stock, and I paid the certificate fee (for repair or replacement coverage). Similar to other AT shops, the waiting area had a sufficient amount of seating and a restroom available. Service lived up to the high quality and professionalism I usually get from America's Tire. And I was on my way in no time. read more

Great location, friendly staff, and fast service. Lots of places nearby to hangout/walk to while you wait for the work to be done. Jimena and Robert were both fantastic and very professional. I had brought my own tires to have installed here in the past and they were able to inspect some of my tires that were losing PSI. Turns out they found a nail and patched it up free of charge. Will be buying my next tire from here in the future. I really loved that I felt taken care of here. Thanks team! read more

Do not do business with this tire shop. I had a cracked right rear wheel that was causing the air leak. I bought the identical OEM wheel replacement myself. On the phone they quoted me $30 and $40 on two different occasions. They refused to move the tire from the cracked wheel when I came there. They claimed that the tire is too worn out. This tire was installed only in December 2025 and obviously wasn't too worn and could still be used for a long time. It still had at least 5/32 left, but the rep was just claiming that it was almost gone and it was unsafe. Then the rep went around the car and began to say that the left rear tire is also worn to a degree that the cords were showing on the inner side of the tire, and he kept insisting that I should replace this tire too, but I refused. Later at home I removed that wheel to take a good look, and sure enough it is nowhere near that degree of wear and there are no cords visible, not even close. Eventually they practically forced me to replace that one tire because I was very tired of pumping it all the time. The service rep is a blatant liar: he claimed that the cords were showing on the left rear tire when there were absolutely no cords visible on it. The prime focus of this store is to up-sell you on the tires. They don't care what the customer really needs, and only care about selling you more. Later they installed the new tire on the cracked wheel through their negligence, and I had to waste another 30 minutes while they were moving the tire to the correct wheel. Again: do not do business with this tire shop! They do not care about their customers' needs. They are untrustworthy and unprofessional. They would tell you any lies to sell you more. ---Response to Business Owner--- Since there is no place to respond under the Business Owner message I am responding here. A cursory search revealed at least 3 recent reviews similar to mine where you forced customers to buy tires that they didn't need. How about you apologize and refund the money you scammed from me? read more

This store has convenient hours and availability and more tire choices than other places. I recently had my Tesla tires changed for the first time at this store for those reasons. Service was quick, but it would have been appreciated if technician had advice me/reminded me to record the new tires in my Tesla dashboard. My other concern was that even though the Tesla recommended psi for tires is 42, 3 tires had a psi of 41, and another a psi of 39. See picture. read more

I came here to do tire rotation for my Tesla model Y. I called them the day before asking if need to schedule an appointment. Luckily they're not too busy on the weekday before 4pm but definitely recommended on the weekend to schedule an appointment. Super fast service, I actually got lucky to book an appointment the same day and was able to pick up 20-30 minutes after the appointment. Super friendly staff, but surprisingly the day that I went was super busy. I definitely would like to give feedback that, my car was kind of parked closer to the exit in a non parking spot, it felt like it was in the middle of blocking entrance and exiting. So just me being on edge, it's a risk of getting hit. That's just my feedback if possible, please park in a parking spot when available. read more

We came here for fixing a tire leak. Jose and the guys were very cool. Onsite we noticed a couple of bald tires which was fortunate rather than risking safety while driving. Had new ones put on. They treated us right. Highly recommend. read more

Unfortunately, if you're not there to make a purchase and just for an air check, they just leave you sitting around with no acknowledgment. I went here this morning to have a tire check. I was there at 7:45 pulled my car up right at 8 AM I had tons of employees walking past me and techs in the bay staring at me and nobody assisted or acknowledged me. I finally got up and went into where people would go inside. And one employee thankfully kept trying to call someone to go to my air check while I stood in line, but nobody would come so I finally had to leave. Then when I called to express my frustration I was met with no remorse and told that they were all busy. And I asked if it's normal to just sit there and not be greeted for 20 minutes, especially when I got there before you guys even opened. Unfortunately I purchased my tires here, but was met with terrible service after. So I guess you are only important when spending money. read more

Jimena took me right in and had a tire mounted on a rim. Very efficient as they were very busy. She got the tire and rim and hade out of there in 30 minutes. The enshittification of America's Tire is happening. Their customer service used to be what set them apart. Super helpful staff, hassle-free air pressure checks, and especially fixing flats at no extra cost made tires easy. Now it's a pain. The parking lot is overrun and unmanaged. I parked in the lot and stood in the rain waiting for the busy air station to open up, then asked the employee helping there if I could move my car in. He said yes, but let a car that had just entered the lot take the space instead. I can't blame the driver but it's disappointing that the staff didn't care. I tried to make an appointment to have the tires rotated. I was told there was no appointment until tomorrow. I couldn't commit to that because it was my wife's car and she needed it then. I asked again about getting it done today, and magically there was in fact an appointment available in about three hours! I wasn't prepared to spend 3+ hours at America's Tire so I asked when they would need the car. "Just leave the keys", I was told. Since I'd just been told it would be hours before they could do the rotation I asked when they'd start work on the car (I would normally walk the two miles home, but I wasn't prepared for the rain so I hoped I could keep the car for a bit longer and bring it back). "I don't know" and a blank stare was the response, so I left without an appointment. I stopped at Big O Tires down the block. Plenty of room in the parking lot and bays ready to receive. But since I didn't buy the tires there it would cost $30. This made me feel stuck with a business that has me captured by sunk costs and no longer needs to provide the same value or level of service to keep me in their ecosystem. When home I decided to make that appointment for tomorrow. I tried using the website and found it a pain. It gets stuck without proper capitalization of the make or model. It requires I know the trim package option name. I usually just give them my name or phone number in person. So I bailed and called the shop directly, where I was put on hold and have been waiting for 30+ minutes. Plenty of time to write a review. read more

Service was excellent! I came here for my free tire rotation and balance since I purchased my tires here in the past, and changed the rear wiper blade. The wait wasn't too long, and the car technicians are very good about providing updates throughout. read more

Came for a complimentary air check (as my car was complaining about it being low). Had to go inside to ask for help, but was able to get helped pretty easily. I managed to bump my tire against a curb 1 block down the street from America's Tire, and it ended up slicing the edge of my tire like a papercut. Worried that I'd damaged the integrity of the tire, I quickly U-turned around to see if the kind folks at America's Tire wouldn't mind checking my tire for a minute as a walk-in visit to see if it needed repair. It was 20 minutes until closing, and I was nervous they might turn me away. Jimena was so wonderful and accommodating. Without hesitation, she gladly came out to my car, took a look, and instantly assessed it as safe and only cosmetic. I was so relieved from the peace of mind she gave me that my tires weren't damaged. She was even patient with a few questions I had for her. Thank you so much for your expertise, support, and grace you showed me today, Jimena! read more

This was my first time dealing with anything car tire related. I walked in requesting a quote to get all original tires replaced on my Subaru. Jose was friendly, professional, and patient with me, walking me through what the process would look like. I felt silly asking so many questions but I left feeling empowered about tires! Jose explained how the device was showing that it was time for the tires to be replaced. I asked for a quote that I could review with my husband and he set me up with a text-based link that we later reviewed. This was super helpful in making an informed decision. We also needed to replace our TPMS sensors and windshield wipers so my husband and I reviewed our options on their web site. I tried making an appointment online but the first available would have been May 5 which would be fine. I wanted to get the car situation taken care of so the next morning I returned hoping for a slot and I was seen right away! Jose was helping another customer but Ryan was just as helpful! He explained the device used to check the tire pressure sensor and windshield wiper options. After getting checked in I was given a link that would update me on the process. While my car was getting new tires I walked across the street to shop at Marshall's! I had a perfect customer experience. Thanks Jose and Ryan! I will definitely recommend this business to all my family and friends! read more

Overall, the service and the TPMS replacement were handled well. However, I did not like being charged before the service was performed. I was informed that this is a new process introduced last November, requiring advance payment, which I found inconvenient. This was the first time I've been asked to pay prior to service, and it was not a positive experience. Next time, I will consider trying a different store. read more

I went in to buy tires today and could not be more Impressed with the service I received. I was helped by Ryan B and his professionalism along with his knowledge was excellent. Stopped by on a Monday because my Toyota Camry "low tire pressure" light kept popping up and I live and work in the area, so I stopped by. Parked my car next to the tire pressure check machine and little did I know that some Vietnamese lady went inside to request her Tire pressure be checked for her White Model Y Tesla. And the America's Tire Associate asked me if I mind? Yes i do mind. First of all I've been an America's Tire customer for years since 2018 and I've always been told to just pull up or park next to the tire pressure check machine/area and they'll check my tire pressure. And I was already parked next to the tire pressure machine and the Vietnamese lady was parked in one of the parking spaces. And she had to go get her car. I wasn't going to move my car, so the associate told her to park beside me! And proceeded to help her out first I'm very disappointed in this location. As always, an awful experience. "Sorry we weren't able to get the tires you ordered, here's an alternative that costs $35x4 more." Between that and constant upsell of useless extended warranties. Sit in the waiting room and listen to the scams they use with each customer. Or just go to Costco for a slower but honest experience. No doubt their bot will reply asking me to follow up with them. I'll have nothing further to do with them. But just look at the other recent reviews and ask yourself if it's worth it. read more

The wait is still 30 mins when replacing 2 tires. You could be waiting longer if there is a long queue line which I was in at 11:00am on a Thursday. I was frustrated with the service at first because it took over a month to receive my order. I ordered a hubcap for my car on January 10th at the shop. The staff member assured me it would take only a few days and promised to call when it arrived. After more than 10 days passed with no word, I called on January 20th and was told the order was delayed due to a holiday. A month passed without a call, so I contacted the shop again on February 19th. A staff member confirmed the part was in and asked me to come in. Unfortunately, when I arrived, Denton found it was the wrong part. Although it wasn't his fault, he took ownership, immediately reordered the correct part, and told me to check back in a few days. I returned on the 27th, and it was the correct part. He installed it for me and kept apologizing for the long wait. I was very impressed by his professionalism and kindness.
