I came here originally for an alignment and I can say it was easy to schedule and the service was quick and efficient! A few months later I discovered I needed my steering rack replaced and went back as they said they would help and quoted me a price that was comparable to the other 5 shops that I talked with, they even said they would not charge for an additional alignment because it was within the alignment warranty period. I dropped my car off for the steering rack replacement in the morning around 10am and got it back just before they closed. When I received the car I was told everything went smoothly. When I got home I noticed one of the steering boots looked pretty messed up and over the course of the next few days the steering on my car got worse and worse. I had to top off my fluid a couple times before bringing the car back. The POSTIVIVE and I can't stress this enough was the shop warrantied the defective rack! They ordered a different rack from a different vendor to be sure the same issue didn't occur and I'm writing this a couple months later and haven't had issues! Overall the shop helped me with a problem I didn't have the equipment at home to take on. Their communication could be improved on updates with the car as I had to call both times I dropped it off to see what state the car was in. I would trust this shop with wheel/tire work and will likely come by when I am in need of a new set, but I would be hesitant to come back for other mechanical work. read more

This review is for the staff member (Stas), he was super fast and helpful. I needed and alignment and the quote was affordable-- gave me 2 options; a one time alignment or a yearly alignment. I own a jeep so I went with yearly. The alignment was done in about 2 hours, I was a walk in so that's understandable. I will say, give these guys grace. They seem to have a sucky manager who leaves them hanging with responsibilities of dealing with clients who were told one info from MANAGER and once they get there he's nowhere to be found. I took my Supra here to get my front tires replaced and an alignment as well. A few days after my alignment, I had a warning light about the chassis pop up so I came back and had one of the guys check it out. The one employee, he was a Filipino guy, found the exact problem which was a rear sensor, and helped me fix it on a moments notice. He was very smart and detailed and spotted the error very fast. Free of charge. He saved me a few hundred from going to the dealership. These guys are communicative, easy going, and prompt. I needed an oil change and Big O Tires had the most affordable price in the area, even compared to local mom and pop shops. I called and was able to get a same day appointment on a weekday. The standard oil change includes full synthetic oil, and a basic tire rotation. Most other places charge an additional $25-35 for tire rotation. They also have special deals on their website you can check out. I dropped my car off and was told the service would take about an hour. You can leave your number so they can notify you when the service is complete. They also have a waiting room if you prefer to wait at the store. I didn't end up receiving a text, but decided to come back after 2 hours. Fortunately, my car was ready. I haven't had any problems with my car since. My most recent visit I called to get an estimate for a service. The man on the other end noted he would call back by the following day in the morning as I called right before closing. Going in to fix a flat tire issue, started checking my engine and other issues with a quote around $800.. such a scam!

I experienced awful service from not just the store but also management. I chose Big O Tires to install 4 new tires on my truck. After they returned my truck and even complimented me on how good the tires looked, all 4 of my chrome-plated wheels were damaged around the edges. Big O Tires took responsibility for the damages and let me know that they "disciplined" the installer, but after dropping the truck off for two days they said that they could not fix or replace the wheels. Instead, they offered me a free oil change or a discount on other tires. I spoke with two people in management hoping they would bring me answers but after initial contact avoided my emails and never called me back. I am more than disgruntled by the quality of work and lack of customer service from this location and Big O Tires. read more

I had a slow leak in one of my run flat tires for about a week. A mechanic at a service station could not find anything wrong with the tire. Emanuel discovered that it was not the tire, but a crack in my wheel that was causing the issue. He said it looked like the crack had been there a while and got worse over time. He repaired the crack so that I did not need to replace the entire wheel. He was knowledgeable, accommodating and the car was ready sooner than expected! He also noticed that another Big O shop had replaced one of my tires 13 months ago and gave me a discount since he thought I likely had the beginning of a crack then and they should have caught it then. Stay away from this place if you care for your wheels. BigO tires Mountain View damaged four of my alloy wheels during tired installation. All of them had deep bite marks from wheels holding machine and one had bad circular scratches. Mansger recognized mistake and tried to fix the wheels. I had to come back three times. Each time spending time, had and Uber money. But after having my van for multiple day they could not resolve the issue. Extremely disappointed too come for new tires and leave with damaged wheels. read more

This place gives me serious PTSD and I'd suggest you do not go to any Big O Tires. Here's my story - I went there for an oil change on 3/6/2023 and they did not tighten the oil plug with a wrench, causing oil leaks when I was driving on freeway and the engine seize as a result. I was stuck on an offramp and had to get towed to a mechanic to confirm what a terrible job Big O did. They only offered to replace the engine with a used one and no rentals or reimbursements for the tows. After a week and half of engine replacement, I took the car to another mechanic for an inspection, and wow what a lazy bunch Big O team was. They did not clean up the original oil spill at the bottom of the car, left a bunch of connectors unhooked around the engine, and a few nuts were missing. None of these was critical, but it showed how lazy, unprofessional, and amateurish their mechanics were. They took shortcuts whenever they could and definitely did not know what they were doing. I offered to pay my mechanic to fix these issues instead of trying to deal with big o again. Hopefully I don't have to deal with them ever again, but saved my paper in case their engine breaks. I would not suggest nor recommend anyone doing car maintenance at big o. It was a horrendous experience and apparently I was not the only one as when I was picking up my car, there was another patron complaining an oil change they did. Avoid at all costs. read more

Worst customer service! They claim if you purchase a tire there you can pop in for air fill anytime. I rolled up this morning for an air fill they told me to park by the tire filling station, which I did. 20 minutes later, I asked when I can get my tires filled. They said I will have to wait in line at the tire center as they cannot fill the tires without permission from the guys in the red shirts! At this point the line was circled out the door. I had called ahead of time to check for availability for a tire pressure + possible tire replacement service. The person on the other end was very kind and let me know they accept walk-ins all day. Upon arrival, I was directed to pull into one of their work stations where they manually checked my tire pressure for me! They inflated my tires to the recommended PSI and made sure my tire pressure monitor was calibrated correctly afterwards too. The person who helped me was incredibly polite and very quick as well; I spent no more than 10 minutes there. I wasn't charged anything for the service (I assume because I didn't need to replace anything after all). Nonetheless, if there were a way I could compensate them I would! I'd 100% go back there for any future tire services I need. And very convenient area for anyone needing tire services! read more
