From my mom's recommendation, I decided to go to Goodyear to get the tires of my mom's very old Toyota Sienna changed out and was very happy with the customer service. The person working the front desk said that he owned a similar car and was giving me recommendations to keep the car running reliable. I was sold - I liked having a local tires dealer and understood why my mom highly recommended it. A few months later, I ended up needing a tire repair for another car, so I made an appointment through their online system. I went to my appointed time and waited patiently in line. When it was my turn, they said that my appointment wasn't in the system - so I figured, my mistake. I went to check my e-mail to see if I had things mixed up, but the person that was next in line was given the exact same response that he also didn't have an appointment. At this time, I found my e-mail and showed the front desk person. He asked if I had made an appointment for the wrong Goodyear (which I didn't), and turned his monitor toward me and the other customer and said our names weren't on here. I fully understand that maybe the scheduling system was messed up, but I felt like he was gaslighting me and the other customer in thinking we made the mistake when there was clearly an error in their system. I didn't really appreciate that, as he didn't apologize or provide a remedy for this mishap in their system. I understand that the scheduling error was not his fault at all, but I am just very disappointed in his handling of the matter. Not sure if this will prevent me from going back, but in the future I will make my appointments over the phone instead of through their online system. read more

Very disappointing and misleading experience. I booked a wheel alignment online for my Mazda CX-30. The advertised price was $125, minus a $20 discount, so I was charged $105 at the time of booking. The website already had my vehicle's make and model, so the quoted price should have reflected the correct vehicle. When I arrived at the service center, I was told that the actual price was $139.95 because my vehicle is considered an SUV. After the same $20 discount, the total became $119.95. This explanation makes little sense because the vehicle information was entered during the online booking. I also checked pricing for a BMW sedan, and it was even more expensive, so the supposed SUV pricing explanation does not appear consistent. Because they claimed the original price was incorrect, they charged my card again instead of simply adjusting the existing transaction. As a result, I was charged twice. I tried resolving the issue through Goodyear's live chat, but it was completely useless. I then had to call customer service and struggle through their automated phone system. The representative could only promise that the original $105 charge would eventually be reversed. Nobody was able to explain why the online price differed from the price at the service center. Goodyear should clearly display the correct price when customers enter their exact vehicle information, and customers should not have to spend their time chasing support after being charged twice. I will not be using their online booking system again. read more

I didn't quite catch the names of the two front desk ladies, but they were able to help me out in a pinch! I have never had a flat tire in my life (after several decades of driving!) and today happened to be the day. They were able to especially accommodate me very quickly despite having a ton of customers. I appreciated their service greatly. It is evident that they prioritize helping others over highway robbery, unlike other places. At the end of the day, it's a business like others that need to make a living. But this is a fair place. Today they were a means of grace to me and the two little kids and senior citizen in my car! I was deciding between another place and this one as I was literally in the middle of the two. I went to this location the other day expecting another shop to give me a run around treating me like a "dumb girl" but was pleasantly surprised when I was met with some of the most respectful and honestly funny people to work at in a place like this. Peter and Darcilyn were very playful with each other and made it feel like they genuinely enjoyed their job. Darci and Peter both treated me like a human and not like a bag of money and were completely honest with me. Peter took time to ask about my day and when I asked about specific tires he was very honest about the quality of them and compared them to a different tire that he personally stood by (Coopers and Achiles). I went to this place for an oil change because they claim to do tire rotation as part of oil change. But they didn't do it.

These people are very professional and very courteous. I had a object on the freeway hit my tire on Highway 280 and I had to pull off the freeway because my tire was losing air. I barely made it into Goodyear and I had a specialty tire that they didn't have in stock. But without hesitation, they offered to have their service check change my spare tire which I was in no position to do. The guy got the spare off my 2022 Ford lightning which was really complicated and installed. It made sure it had plenty of air and I was on my way free of charge. thought I'd leave this. It's not always about making a profit. I will definitely be back in for some tires in the near future read more

Go here at you own risk. My wife got a nail in her tire and I sent her here thinking they'd know what they were doing. They found the nail and plugged it for $35 which I thought was high but whatever. Next morning tire is low again so she goes back. Not only did they admit to making a mistake but said they couldn't fix it and refused to refund her. They were more than willing to sell her new tires though. Horrible. No integrity. Place like this thrives off people trusting the name Goodyear. You're better off going somewhere else. read more

Always good, courteous service (Darcy), they'll do their best to take care of you and accommodate your scheduling needs. Matt is a Mechanic's Mechanic. Rare to find nowadays someone who is so good at his trade and trustworthy. Cuts no corners, gets it right. Can align a lowered Mercedes GLS right, after countless couldn't. So, big props for that! Not competent, bait and switch. Be careful with these guys. Simple oil change with regular motor oil-had a coupon and booked online appointment. Went there. Dropped off the car, came back, only to get a call from the lady there that they will only use synthetic oil and it would cost $100. When asked why they didn't tell us this when we dropped off the car, they had no answer. We've been using regular oil in our 10-year old car since the beginning and manual from manufacturer says synthetic is recommended but regular motor oil ok. We refused to be baited and switched and went back to talk to them. They said their manager is not around and it will be a few hours before they could discuss this with him. I understand that when going to shops like Goodyear to get oil changes and car check-up, there is the inherent risk of things breaking on accident. What I was disappointed with is that Goodyear didn't tell me that something broke and let me drive 4000 miles before discovering their mistake because I wanted to top off my windshield wiper fluid and change my engine filter. I do have to give them credit for patching it back together so I'm not driving around with a broken engine cap. What caused me to write this review was that during the two conversations I had with them, not once did they apologize for the mistake. Instead, it was a game of pushing blame off their hands by saying that it didn't happen at their shop and implying that it must have happened naturally. I get it, they don't want the liability and it's had to prove, but I don't think the broken piece could have gotten their on it's own unless it grew legs and climbed over. Needless to say, I'm going to start looking for a new place which is a shame because my family and I have been going here for the past 20+years. read more

I had to take my vehicle into this location as it is a partner with rental company. The staff was warm and welcoming and they were apologetic about the wait. They were really nice personally I was there from 9am to 1pm since I don't live in area and didn't have a ride back. Once I was heading home I noticed the car felt funny but assumed that since it was sitting for a while that it needed to be warmed up plus I had to be out of town. I check underneath hood once I get done and notice that the cap is completely unscrewed and the engine bay has oil all over plus the dipstick was dry. They neglected to replace cap and I'm assuming my drive home the oil was Gone. I tried calling but they were closed by the time I got around to double checking a professionals work. If this was a rushed job I would understand but they had plenty of time to double check. I now have to wake up early to go back and hopefully they can just add the oil to my car and send me on my way They also were suppose to change a tire pressure sensor but the tire pressure light is still on and I suspect they didn't even change those either I will b back early in the morning I am unhappy read more

I want to commend and just show my appreciation for tech, Matt and assistant manager, Monica at the Goodyear in Cupertino. My dealer told me a few months ago that I needed to replace my rear brake pads since they were getting low. I figured to take care of this before the arrival of my daughter and so I brought it to Goodyear. I dropped off my vehicle and Monica called me to tell me that the brake pads were fine. They were at 7 & 8 mm. Thanks to Matt for checking before any services were completed. It would have been around $500 and Monica called to tell me that it wasn't necessary to change then. Man the incompetence at this place is beyond understanding. I literally told them I had a problem with the car battery. An hour and a half later they call me telling me it's the fob. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I replace the fob with one I have at home. That doesn't work. Thinking it's a dead fob battery I buy one at rite aid. That doesn't work. I go inside and tell them the car still doesn't turn on. The lady still blames the fob battery. Finally she gets the mechanic who checks the car battery and does indeed inform me it's a bad battery. Who could've guessed....? Then she tells me to go to an auto shop to get it fixed. Lol Also that free car check in winter? Don't bother unless you watch over them. Good year stripped my tire lug nuts while mounting my tires with a torque wrench. The bolt broke off when they tried to take off the tire during tire rotation .Denied it was their fault but offered to replace the bolt. The made me wait 2 hrs then told me they didn't get the part in for replacement, Cupertino has bad service. read more

Don't go here. They will make you wait forever. They won't even schedule you to come in without promising a minimum of 3 hours waiting for a tire rotation I need, let alone getting new tires, which I had them do a half year ago when the wait was so long I had to leave and go back on their "less busy day" when I still waited 4 hours. If I could give more stars I would! Every time I need to fix my car I dread it. But this experience was A M A Z I N G!!!!!!!!! It was very easy to make an appointment and I was happy even though I called fifteen minutes before close they were able to get me an appointment which I was super grateful for. When I went in Darcy greeted me and was very friendly and assuring that they would be able to help me. Monica was also able to help by telling me what timeline I could expect and what the prices would look like. Both of them were extremely friendly and made my experience painless! Darcy and Monica seem like the dream team! I spent around an hour there but it didn't feel like it at all! With their help I was back on the road in no time! I had the first appointment of the day to install 4 pre-ordered tires, since it is only 2 miles from my house. When I arrived, the manager said since he had short of people my car not be done as scheduled: I had to leave the car until the end of the day. That was in the early morning, and there were a few people trying to squeeze in for the day. If you are short of people, don't book new slots. Need to honor the scheduled ones, not treating customers like that. What a poor service management! Stay away from this store. I left to another store at Winchester to have my tires delivered and installed in the same morning. read more

Come here only if you want rude service! The guy told me it's an hour wait for a wheel alignment today. I told him his mechanic is back here with NO cars and he's sitting here not busy. After I was forced to come back tomorrow with an appointment for a wheel alignment, I left the store and talked to his mechanic and asked him if he had time to do a wheel alignment which he said yes bring it in now. I told the mechanic that the service guy at the front desk said it would be an hour wait and that he was a jack ass. The mechanic was kind enough to come inside the store and talk to the jack ass and now I am finally getting my alignment. The Jack ass also told me it can take up to an hour for the service, it only took the amazing mechanic 20 mins to completed it. The Jack ass is not happy with me at all. The only reason why I came here is because I still had one credit for a wheel alignment!! If you want amazing service please go to Hankook Tires on El Camino Real in Santa Clara. I just purchased my four tires from them and they were much cheaper than the other three places I called. read more

I called on Monday for an appointment for a simple tire rotation. The staff member said to come at noon on Saturday. No problem, I thought...when I get here on Saturday, I was told I did not have an appointment but they can accommodate me. Ok, less ideal but as long as they can fit me in. Usually tire rotation are pretty fast so when I waited until 4pm and still didn't get a call, I called them. The staff member on the phone said my car was ready. When I asked why I didn't receive a call, she said "this was on our list of low priorities." So, I will be taking my future business elsewhere and will not be back at this Goodyear. read more
