I know this might be a convenient stop, but DO NOT go here. They completely wrecked my oil change appointment TWICE. The first time they didn't fasten my skid plate correctly and it fell while I was driving on the highway, I thought it was an honest mistake. However, I just had another appointment and the front of the plate fell again while I was driving on 280. It was incredibly dangerous. I took it to the shop across the street from Jiffy and they secured it properly. Saying that despite the damage, it wouldn't fall again (this tells me even a damaged skid plate can be secured correctly without almost causing an accident on a highway). The manager Victor M. was incredibly rude about the whole ordeal. Would never go again. read more

They assured me that with over an hour, it could be done easily. However, it turned out that they didn't have the tires in stock and had to fetch them from another store. Update: I returned to the shop and they corrected their error quickly and respectfully. Thank you to the staff at Jiffy Lube. I went for a simple Uber inspection of my vehicle and I paid $39.99 for what should have been a simple task. They not only scribbled the make of my car on the form, but also failed to write my license plate and VIN number on the form rendering it invalid. What's more, the staff was very loud and rude while I was waiting, kinda weird people. Would you trust these people to do critical repairs to your vehicle worth thousands of dollars? You decide. Now I have to return today to get what I paid for. Not a great customer experience. read more

My lil' Fiat needed an oil change and the gentlemen took great care of everything. They had all things in stock (in the past, other places had to procure the correct filters) were efficient, thorough and very tidy. The wait area was clean, air conditioned on this 100 degree day, had Wi-Fi, and cold water! The inspection was explained well, they even replaced a bulb I didn't know was out. Vacuuming my carpets and cleaning my windows made me super impressed too, as I've never experienced such service for an oil change! Great team-GO HERE! read more

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this location. I had a full oil change and inspection here, plus a 60k fluid replacement. In total i paid almost $300. I felt good to go on a road trip to LA the next day. On the road trip, I had a really bad experience being stranded on the side of 101 in the middle of nowhere late at night due to a burst tire. The cause of the burst was underinflation and wear/tear. When I called the owner of the Jiffy Lube to let him know this happened so they can better service similar customers, he had no empathy for my experience and simply said that tires were "not his jurisdiction". If you are looking for a car tune up and to feel confident your car is in good shape, you won't be able to get it here. I'm sorry to have to write this review. read more

The service in the beginning was okay, I had to wait a bit, but after waiting a while, the technician called me up to the counter and went over the details of my car and then told me what type of engine I had and what kind of oil I would need to put into my car. After going over the mechanics and bill, he mentioned that I could use a complimentary oil change for my car if I were to go on a road trip, which I thought was great, since I am planning on going on one sometime soon. Afterwards, they told me car was ready to go, and to my amazement, they told me they even vacuumed the inside of the car for me, which was unexpected, but awesome. This location and their employees are ghetto, rude and grimy AF. I wouldn't even trust bringing my car here. The employees look and sound like they mess with drugs. They seem like they'd be intoxicated/high during their work shifts. I don't know who is in charge of this ghetto location, but from the looks of it, these WyoTech looking dudes, don't seem to have any professional experience/knowledge to do car services. I'm thoroughly impressed at this location. Came here today for an oil change on a work car and these guys were super fast, courteous, and prompt. They got the car in knew what they were doing were able to do the paperwork for the company Car. Additionally they also helped clean my windows and added air to my tires without me asking. And they warned me about one of the tires needing a change soon. All of this just seems like it was above and beyond in terms of customer service. read more

Do yourself a favor. Don't trust what they tell you. Ask them: show me what you did. If only I'd have done that a month ago when I went here to get my car oil changed. A new engine later is the result of not asking them to show me. They deny any wrongdoing and yet the dipstick shows oil for two cars. Would give 0 starts if I could. My family and I have been going this Jiffy Lune for years, but will never go there again. Came for an oils change and get a headlight bulb replaced. During the light bulb change I noticed one of the associates was taking apart the wrong light so I came out to tell him. Well after the manager (Andy) took over and had trouble putting the "wrong" light back together, after which he tells me that the wires are no good. I told him that the wires worked just fine before one of his technicians took it apart....keep in mind that this is still the wrong light. At this point the manager turns around and tell me "get the f*** out of his shop", while his employees stop texting on their phones and start to stand in front of the glass window and door to prevent me from looking in at what they are doing. I would stay as far away from this shop as possible. read more

My bad for taking my car to a Jiffy Lube in the first place. I had $400 worth of work done on my car last Friday after which I noticed a dent in my hood that is now causing the paint to chip. I brought the car back to complain and they denied everything. Hello! Why would there be a dent there in the first place if someone had not noticed that the hood would not shut because of equipment left on the engine? Take some accountability please! My car is a piece of crap anyway, but it would be nice if they didn't just pretend that no mistake had been made. The people who work here are nice, but not the brightest. The manager Abraham gave me the runaround and blatantly lied to my face. Bottom Line: Bring your car in for service at your own risk. Be prepared to be ripped off. read more

Before I left Berkeley to visit Anna L. in the South Bay, I was going to get my oil changed. The Berkeley Jiffy Lube location apparently ran out of oil, um, isn't that what you should have a full supply of? so I decided to just get my oil change near where I used to live. Great quick service but later that day, my car turned off when dropping off Anna L. back at her place. The next day, the engine light came on and then it stalled again. So, not wanting to be stuck on the bridge, I took it into a mechanic who said that a wire was not connected for the air filter. My car got fixed and it was a happy day but I was stuck with a $50 bill that I had to pay out of my own pocket. I went back to JL and explained my situation, wanting to be reimbursed for my out of pocket of costs. I thought that they should have reimbursed me for the time I lost from missing work but I'm sure I would have gotten a big negatory. The manager was pretty responsive and I got reimbursed within a week. He apologized for the service and hoped that I would return. Negatory....but I appreciated their quick action in returning my money. read more

I have to admit, I like to change my own oil. I took my car into Jiffy Lube in Cupertino, CA to have my oil changed.. I also used the $10.50 off by checking in with Yelp. I have to say their customer service is really good. I was surprised. It kept getting better. After my car had its oil changed, the techs informed me that they vacuumed my car and also wiped down the windows. They also checked all fluids. The biggest bonus which is something I could not believe, is as long as you bring your car into any Jiffy Lube station, they will top off the fluids in your car, windshield washer and Engine Oi for Free! That is right, Free. As long as it is in between the 7500 mile oil change recommendation they put on your sticker. Check it out. read more

This is the worst Jiffy Lube I have ever been to. When I got home oil leaked all over the ground. I had to tell technician he had oil filter backwards. They topped off radiator overflow without asking. My car is a VW TDI Diesel and requires very specific coolant, not gasoline vehicle coolant. An overall terrible experience. I am now going to have to see if they stripped oil drain plug as so much oil leaking. It's crazy the6 are so untrained. read more
