The Chick Fil A of Oil Changes. Everyone was genuinely nice at this Springcreek & Coit location. I had to get my registration so noticed if you get an oil change at the same time you get $25 off and the oil change is 15 minutes. I also had gum on my exterior door and went to car washes, dealerships and no one ever went out of their way to try to get it off. The kind young man with a sweet smile got it off for me so my car looks brand new again. Such a elevated and kind thing to do. Also, they let me pick two different oils while everyone else tells me it only takes one specific oil. I will always come here as long as they have this team and great work ethic. I absolutely won't return here. The way I was treated and disrespected and then approached to upsell and upcharge pretty much everything offered to me and then made to feel stupid when I didn't that this place has changed. I came here before in May 2025 and the staff was heartwarming, dedicated to customer service, intellectual and experienced and above all people of character.. I came there today simply because my red light was flashing and I thought my oil might be low although I still had another 1400 miles or so to go on my sticker that jiffy lube had placed there prior. I stepped out of the car and proceeded to walk to the front desk and was intercepted immediately and asked what I wanted and I felt that this was kind of odd since I wanted people to look up my last visit and look at the product that I had previously purchased. I turned the car around so that way they could look at my vehicle on a level plain. And from that point on I was treated with a lack of respect. The gentleman that helped me did not fail to highlight his own ability by telling me how long he had been in the service and how long he had been working at this location. He had suggested an oil change although it was not completely necessary that I get one right then and there. But I followed with his suggestion. He was suggesting I come back after 3,000 mi even though he was going to give me a synthetic oil that lasted for 5000. He then suggested an upsell or an upcharge of his fuel cleaner for $20 or I could go next door to AutoZone and get it for 9:00 which I did I immediately brought it back to him to use and then from that point I was told that there were leaks and there were gasket issues and that there were other complications that would require me to purchase a package that was the steroid version of the fuel cleaner which was upwards to $200. I expressed my inability to purchase these items and then was made to feel unsafe in my vehicle even though they had just changed the oil and everything should be in working order at that point. I was literally told in front of other people that I should watch my car daily and be concerned. Then on the outgo ticket on my notes on the computer he proceeded to type in that he recommended engine cleaner that you put into the gas tank even though 25 minutes earlier he had already suggested that and I had went over to AutoZone and purchased it and brought it directly back to him. When I asked him to explain what was going on with my vehicle the only thing he could relate it to were spare ribs or chicken. He stated that the spare ribs or the chicken might be present after a few months but the stabilizers would not be and if I truly cared for my safety I would consider purchasing the upgrades and upsells that he recommended.. I don't doubt his knowledge as he reminded me of it constantly. I just doubt his sincerity when it came to customer care because it seemed more evident that he was interested in the upsell or the upgrade or the up charge and not necessarily the comfort that I needed to drive away and feel safe. The point is, I came to this location about $1,400 mi earlier than I needed to based on what they sold me before and before I left there I had purchased probably a total of $100 worth of materials from AutoZone and jiffy lube. First and last time I come here. Moved into town recently and this was my first oil change in the area. I was expecting 15-20 min wait like I was told no big deal. But once I sat down I saw it all in 40 plus mins . From lying to customers to get them to purchase products they didn't most likely didn't need to front desk clerk arguing with technicians over products he upsold. He even tried to charge me for a tire rotation I didn't ask for and if I didn't catch it, I would have paid $29.99 extra. Stay clear of this establishment, spent $128.87 a basic oil change(I know it's on me for this ). And an extra $7.99 gets tacked on for "shop supplies" to everyone's bill. Jiffy Lube replaced my alternator in May 2025 and now it is failing in October 2025. This is incredibly premature as alternators typically last between 80,000 to 150,000 miles or about seven to ten years. Jiffy Lube refuses to replace it despite the fact that AAA tested it and it failed twice. Now I am out almost $450 and have a car that won't run at all. The only reason I came to Jiffy Lube vs Valvoline (a much cheaper option) was because of the free check of all of the fluids, tire pressure and most importantly the interior vacuum/window wash. None of which was actually done! I would've asked them to do it, but the young guys working couldn't even be bothered to put the "next due" sticker - I had to ask for that too. At $68, the value Jiffy Lube once offered is no longer there. I should've gone to Valvoline who also checks/tops off fluids but they have a Groupon making there's only $23 right now. I found it odd since it usually just comes on when I need an oil change, which I just got 10 days prior.... So I made a note to head back to Jiffy Lube in a couple of days when I had more time. 2 days later my car starts going bonkers! Every conceivable warning light starts popping up one after the other and the car starts slowing down and jerking back and forth while I'm on the road. I pull over immediately to find my car is leaking oil. After having it checked I'm made aware that the car has no oil in it and told I could possible have serious engine damage. I get the car towed to Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney and got a rental car to use while they looked at my car. After a few days of test they assure me I got it to them just in time. Though the car had no oil the engine was still lubricated enough to not cause any significant damage. They said whomever did my oil change didn't put the filter cap back on properly, which caused the leek. I was also told this is more common than I might think. So I take the receipt for my service and rental car to Jiffy Lube and speak to the store manager, Alex. He has me email him a photo copy of the charges to forward to his regional manager Andrew Duffy. 30 days go by and no response from either party. I call the store after patiently waiting and the store manager, Alex informs me that he's forwarded the email but that's about all he can do. At this point it's in Andrew's hands. So I get the regional manager, Andrew Duffy's email andrewd@alliedlube.com and write him a long email and explains what happened and my wishes to remedy this situation amicably, but after 7 days, still no response. This place was the worst run business I've ever seen. It took 30 minutes for them to change my oil and then another 15 minutes for them to send someone end to allow me to pay. They had 5 people working and multiple people standing doing nothing at any given moment. I finally get to my car and they forgot to put the mileage sticker on the windshield. I'll always recommend Jiffy Lube, it's been my go to Auto repair shop for years now and I rarely have an issue. I noticed the splash guard had come loose in the undercarriage of my car, I took it to the closest repair shop (Firestone) and they explained they only had one tech after 5 PM so it would be about 2 hours. Decided to make an appointment just in case and head to the jiffy lube down the road. They had at least plenty of staff and got me out of there with the splash guard zip tied in about 30 minutes. Absolute amateurs. They don't know what they're doing. We went here for an inspection. They failed to pass the car for inspection. Zero communication happened, as I thought the car passed. They never said a word to us. Nor did they identify the reason it might not have passed. Nevertheless, they rudely charged us for the inspection. We took our car into this location for years. Some time ago they said that the previous oil change company had over tightened something and oil was leaking everywhere. And offered to fix it for a fee. I had just gotten new plates on the car which apparently they go by for vehicle identification, and still had the receipt from THEM on the last oil change. Very quickly it turned into never mind we fixed it. Well without thinking about it i took it back up to the same location. They said the car was almost out of oil and there were leaks everywhere. I said ok. Again remembering about the last time and that it was just mechanics looking for a job to do. Drove home (.4 miles) and the car sat for 2 days undriven. Started to pull out today and there is a big puddle of oil under the car. Not sure if it was overfilled. Oil was spilled maybe. Or just something not tightened back up. Will contact them on monday but this seems shady and will not be recommending them or returning. Just warning anyone out there that likes honesty in the mechanics to probably look elsewhere. Update: contacted the location manager never got a call back. Contacted a corporate office... not sure if it was a franchise or actual corporate office... no call back... took the car up to the location... he looked at it... said yep it had too much oil in it... line was 3 inches above the full line... kept asking me who put oil in it last... jiffy lube... used my license plate to look up history... but told me to go get all the paperwork from a week before... again the same info he pulled up on the computer already... and then they would take a look at it... just the run around... am taking it to another place to measure oil and see why there is oil leaking everywhere... as jiffy lube will not return calls and keeps wanting me to talk to someone else or bring other paperwork... UPDATE UPDATE: at least 2 quarts too much oil in the system... plus whatever leaked out... the bolt that a professional takes out to drain oil was not even "finger tight" apparently about to fall out... anyway had a better oil place drain and replace oil again. They were not sure if jiffy lube did not remove the old oil or just added too much... or why they did not tighten the bolt thing on the oil pan. Joe at the counter was great, he greeted every customer and made everyone aware of the wait time, kudos to him. I was in and out in under an hour, my experience was really ok but I think it's absurd that my windshield wipers cost more than my inspection. I initially failed the inspection but was told if I replaced my windshield wipers because they were torn up pretty bad, I would pass so I agreed then was told the price. Listen, if I didn't have 3 days left of the month to get my inspection I would have said no, gone to Walmart and bought some less expensive wiper blades but I was already here so I agreed but 23 dollar a piece blades! I was disgusted when I saw my receipt and the blades were 47 dollars and the inspection was 25 dollars, I feel they take advantage of this situation and charge a ridiculous amount so for that I'll never come back again. read more

I went for a routine oil change upon reviewing everything they said that my serpentine belt had tears and cracks and that I needed to replace it as soon as possible. They quoted me $109 with a $10 discount. I went home to replace it myself and upon removal of the belt, I found it to be in near perfect condition. No cracks or tears. I highly recommend you do not go to this Jiffy lube! Be aware of the services they recommend to you, they will lie to you just to get your money. read more

Very negative experience today. I've been to this location several times for oil changes and it has normally been positive and efficient. Today, however, the young man at the reception counter was exceptionally rude. I asked for an oil change and he condescendingly questioned me not once, not twice, but three times - as if I was lying to him that I had brought my car there for an oil change in the past. Which is why my car got pushed aside and he brought on the charm for the women laughing at me because he wanted to help her but I got told to leave because they didn't have a filter. The manager? These guys get a solid 5 star rating. I went on a trip to Europe and came back to find the Texas heat had fried my alternator, which in turn had fried my battery and corroded it to the point that it didn't work. On Thursday 9/5, I went to the Autozone next to Jiffy Lube first who confirmed the alternator was screwed up and they couldn't replace my battery because it would just fry that one too, so he suggested I take it to this Jiffy Lube location to get it fixed. It was 6:30 pm at this point (had to do this after work) and they closed at 7:30 but ran me a quote, called their parts dealer and said they could do it before they closed. At this point the car would not start at all (had to be jumped just to get there) and was in the Autozone parking lot so the guys working pushed me (without power steering) over to their shop and into a bay where they got to work on replacing the alternator. A series of unfortunate events then happened as it took a little while (the engine was extremely hot still)' the battery was so corroded that it could not be charged (walked over to Autozone, I got a new battery and returned) then we found out the connector was corroded so badly that it had to be replaced. It took until about 8:30 to fix it all (well after they were supposed to close) but they stuck with me and fixed the whole issue and now everything works fine again. For Jiffy Lube coropirate, to all the guys that worked late that night on Thursday 9/5, they deserve major kudos, a raise and some Jimmy John's for their hard work to help me get the car back in order on short notice. read more

I came in on 5/18/20 for a state emissions inspection. I was in a rush so (in the nicest way) I asked them to make the inspection as expedient as possible. Once upon a time, I was a loyal Walmart oil change customer. Loyal, but not content. In theory, having your oil changed while you shopped for school snacks and Clorox wipes made sense, but the oil change never took the estimated 45 minutes, and the cost for the service has more than doubled over the past five years. After being told by one Walmart auto-care employee that my oil could not be changed as the "buddy system" employee had not reported for duty that morning, I decided to try the nearby Jiffy Lube. The price was comparable to Walmart, but in addition to changing the oil, they also vacuumed my car and cleaned the windows. When the car was ready, the service representative walked me out and even opened my car door for me. The best part? The whole process start-to-finish took roughly fifteen minutes.
