The diagnostic revealed Crash Zone Faults still stored on board. Mr. Niki's explanation was thorough, understandable to this elderly veteran, Mr. Niki recommended I contact Insurance Adjuster explain the situation. Instead of we can fix it, Mr. Niki's recommendation was the wisest. He was not deterred about losing a future customer in explaining that what we needed is a little beyond the their capabilities, given the dealership would have the Vehicle specific diagnostic tools and the ability to factory reset the electronics. We will be having our XC60 veicle serviced by Neue Auto LLC in the future. The Neue Auto provided the service at no cost to me, as explained, we were not able to correct/repair the problem.

They're so good at explaining what happened and I've never felt ripped off. There is no sign or person indicating anything about the wait time at any point, and once you get past the entrance, you're trapped in the line with no way to exit for at least an hour. From the entrance, you can't see the whole line or tell how many cars ahead of you are waiting for inspections - no way to guess how long the wait might be if you haven't done it before. The staff person who did my inspection was not very friendly, and when I said "I really wish you'd put up a sign that says it's a 3 hour wait" (without a rude or angry tone, just weary), he ignored me and just told me how much I owed him. No hint of kindness or apology for the insane wait time. I wish I had read the reviews, because this seems to have been an issue here for at least a year. A simple sign to set expectations or even just kind words from the staff could've mitigated the horrible experience.

Best to call and to make an appointment. Wheel alignment takes about an hour. Waiting area is limited. Wear your Hokas or comfortable walking shoes to venture about. I spoke to Archie on the phone and told him that I wanted to use their current promo coupon for an $89.99 oil change. He said no problem. However, when I arrived for my appointment, Archie said that the coupon was actually only good for $10 off, which brought the total amount to about $110 ($10 being taxes and fees). That's $10 more than advertised. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying. I tried to argue that the price/coupon didn't make sense or add up, but got nowhere. Although it didn't sit right with me that Archie kept gaslighting me about the coupon, I agreed to proceed at the higher price because I had taken time off from work, already driven down for the appointment, and it was only a $10 difference. Before handing over my keys, I noticed that the safety check wasn't listed in the paperwork and pointed this out to Archie. He responded that the safety service wasn't listed in the appointment notes. I asked if they could still do the safety anyway, and that's when things turned really weird - he said "respectfully, I'm going to decline servicing your vehicle altogether." When I asked why, he said "I don't want you to have a bad experience." Well, I had a bad experience so I guess that failed. I've never had any business refuse service before, especially after misleading me about the price and messing up my confirmed appointment. I went to another shop in town and had no issues.
