They said they could only put the spare tire on because they didn't have a new tire to match my car. They provided a quick turnaround on my repairs, keeping me updated constantly throughout the process with their exceptional communication. Jamie was a pleasure to chat with and I even got a candy cane and piece of chocolate as a Christmas gift when I picked it up. The pricing was fair and transparent, which is always a relief when dealing with car repairs. I know it's fair because I called several other shops to do quick comparisons and found they were just below the median price for similar services. Not the lowest or highest just fair pricing. Lower prices were had at smaller shops further outside of the area I live so it didn't make that much sense to pay for towing and go elsewhere. I have gone to the team at Artesian a few times now; they have done work on my daughter's 2004 G35 which has come out quite well; including the famous gasket valve cover oil leak issues that plague these fun cars. They have also replaced window motor and locks as well. They do good work and if there are issues, they will fix it (my windows were a bit off due to need to reset setting after changing door locks and window motors.) They are not the cheapest but their prices are fair and keep in mind my car is old so parts are harder to come by. I like the option that they let me bitch about the parts prices and I can take my chances with eBay if I want. Haha. It's a good option compared to others in town and generally gets it done that days. Can't speak to emergency work though since haven't had that issue yet. Thank you Artesian! read more

History: I had my shocks replaced at home and anytime changing suspension parts, alignment may be affected. Well mine was and my wheels were squealing on all surfaces and no sitting flat on the ground. In the past I had gone to another shop for alignment, but decided to try this place since it is in a bit more convenient location. I called a day before to see when I could come in for service, they said as early as tomorrow at the time. I elected for a couple days after and we set a date. The reservation process was easy and convenient. Day of, I showed up a little late, but they were accommodating and asked if I was going to stay or leave the car and have them call me. I decided to stay and do some work in their waiting room. It's big enough to fit maybe 4 or 5 people and today it was just me. I did some work on my laptop while waiting. Not too long later the wahine notified me that my car was done without any issues. I paid my bill which was more than expected, but still within reason (I guess inflation?). The mechanic was waiting with my car and had one of those carpet protector sheets to keep my car clean. When driving away, it was smooth and even on the pavement. Overall it was a good experience. In this case of you-get-what-you-pay-for, my car feels great! so I'm happy with it and would recommend. read more

Outstanding experience at Artesian Auto Repair!! Aaron and team were quick, helpful, and effective. The front bumper of my Lexus CT 200h scraped a curb and came loose. This place is the best! After getting ignored by Midas for an urgent appt. I called Aaron at Artisian and he told me a good time to bring my car in on the same day. Once I got there, he took my car for a test drive, heard the noise then put my car on lifters. Turns out one of my tires was so badly torn (yes, torn). If I had driven on it any further it would have exploded. They ordered the tire right away and I was able to get everything taken care of before I had to go to work the next day. I came here because my engine light came on. When I got my oil changed a couple months ago it came on andwas recommended to come here from a friend, she's a feminist lol so I trust her. Anyways, I called first to tell them what my dilemma was. The guy on the phone was super helpful and nice and told me I could bring my car in anytime during business hours and of the week. I came in after work around 4:15 they did a quick complementary diagnostic check on my car and pulled up an estimate. The sensor for my engine or whatever was dirty so they said that they'd have to order that part and they estimated with everything including an oil change it would be about $300. I left and I didn't secure an appointment. A couple days later they did a follow up call with me which was nice it was the lady this time. She's very nice as well. I thought about it for another day then decided I wanted to get that shit fixed so I called the following day and asked when would be a good day to bring my car in and how long it would take they said any day was good and that the procedure for my car would be fast. So I scheduled it for the next day. I came in around 12 and was out of the shop by 1. I used the yelp 10% off and he took off the oil change because I change my oil for my car every 3,000 miles so everything came out to about $230. Everything is fine now on my car plus my safety check is coming up too so even more so that's why I wanted to get my engine light done. I will be back if I need any work done on my car I don't feel like I was jipped. Customer service is awesome and the space is clean :) read more

My Truck's AC stopped working one day so I needed an auto shop in Honolulu that would service my AC. I tried filling my truck's ac with refrigerant but it only stayed cold for a day. I instantly knew I had a leak in my ac unit so I needed expert help. I found Artesian Auto Repair on Yelp and they had excellent reviews. They are a small local repair shop and I wanted to support local businesses during this pandemic time. I emailed them and Kristie wrote back and I was able to schedule an appointment with them. The estimate was very reasonable too. I was right about the leak in my ac unit. Kristie called me back after they did a diagnostic and my evaporator and condenser had a leak. This was a big job so it took a little over a day to fix so I had to leave my truck over night. But the next day Kristie called back and my truck was done! When I picked up my truck the AC was cold again! Yay! Artesian Auto Repair also ran an air sanitizer through my HVAC system to sanitize my truck! When I was driving home, I found out that my radio was not working and the controls on my steering wheel was not working. I called Kristie the next day and she apologized and said I can take my truck back anytime and they will fix it. Today I had the time and Kristie and her team fixed my radio! My TPMS light was on too and they filled my tires with air and reset the light at no additional cost. Thank you Kristie, Bobby, and your team at Artesian Auto Repair! I wanted to replace a coil (goes over the spark plug)... they wouldn't give a quote over the phone so I brought my truck in as suggested, they called back with a quote over $1,000!! They included stuff I didn't need after removing the stuff I didn't need, quote was just over $500, seemed high so I said no thanks and went to get my truck back. They wanted $150 for a diagnosis!?! I told them I already diagnosed it, I told them exactly what I wanted done, even gave them the computer code.. they did me a "favor" and knocked it down to $80... for doing nothing, giving me a ridiculous quote and wasting half my day. I found the part at the auto store, $60 literally watched a 6min video and replaced it myself in about 5 min. 1 bolt. For $80 they could have done it right there in the spot. Come on guys... be better! Would not recommend, but if you do get a quote BEFORE you waste your time going down there. read more

We got a flat tire on our way to an event. We were able to get the spare on but were quite a long distance away from our destination and did not feel comfortable driving there on the spare. We found Artesian Auto Repair by chance as we were driving. We stopped to see if they could help us. They were extremely polite and helpful during the process of checking and repairing the tire, then putting it back on the car. I started searching yelp for a small auto shop after getting some trouble codes on the On board diagnostic computer on my car. I tried getting estimates for other problems in the past at some of the chains and ended up doing it myself because of the ridiculously priced estimates. This time around with my older car, the throttle was the trouble. I don't really do my work on the engine and fuel systems. It requires knowledge of electric sensors and calibration of the parts so I found Artesian on yelp. I called Friday and they had an opening for first thing Monday morning. Pretty simple. Just dropped it off and gave them the error codes I was receiving and issued such as stalling and such, They called with an estimate a couple hours later after examining the problem. Very reasonable pricing. They went ahead and ordered the parts and had my car repaired, checked the OBD computer a second time through, test drove and done. Bobby throughly explained other errors codes they received how they addressed the problem, etc. Service was fast and friendly and low stress. I never write reviews but honestly I would give this shop 100 stars if I could! Bobby and Christy are SO WONDERFUL and take all of the stress out of car troubles. On the mainland my mechanic dad would always work on my cars, and I can honestly say I have the exact same level of trust in this shop as I do with my own dad! They are so sweet and easy to communicate with and will always go the extra mile to make sure you are getting the best care and fair prices for what needs to be worked on.
